The CSIs join David Phillips at his high school reunion when he discovers the prom queen’s been murdered.

I really enjoyed this episode.

I was laughing so hard during the autopsy scene with David talking back to Becca. "I'm going to get some air!"

I don't recall seeing his wife before, am I remembering right? I didn't even realize the character was married.

I vaguely remember way, way back there was an episode or two where he was kind of distracted during cases (was showing up late at a crime scene and such) and was kind of reprimanded for it. His excuses/apologies were regarding his upcoming wedding. I seem to recall a casual conversation or two about 'future in-laws', wedding stuff, etc. I remember kind of liking the way that we were shown a little bit about his personal life without being hit over the head with the mundane boring details. I also liked the episode tonight for the same reason. Even though he was the focus of it, I didn't feel overwhelmed by a lot of personal business that I didn't want to see. And the baby at the end was really cute!

We haven't even seen much of David lately so it was nice to have him at the centre of a case. I remember some time ago he mentioned he was engaged and I think I knew he got married but I've never seen his wife before and I didn't know about the baby...I got just a little teary eyed at the end:)

I really enjoyed the episode too. Everyone was featured and no one was obnoxiously pushed forward and there was no angst. Although, now that I come to think of it, Sara wasn't there, was she?

Worst tracheostomy since Road House... if we're supposed to believe him!

I mostly remember David talking about his home life with Nick during opening investigation scenes. So, it was slightly surprising that they used Hodges as the office friend, but it worked well enough there and at the closing scene.

I think Finn was yabbering on about liking high school? I couldn't tell, since my brain was stuck with "Shut up, Finn!"; but if that's the case, then yeah, "Shut up, Finn!"

Anyway, pretty good episode. But sheesh, David, get some scissors!

That was my major problem with the episode. We didn't need the homily from SuperShue about moving on at the end. Normally, I didn't mind the little summing up at the end -- but when SuperShue does it, I get annoyed as all get out. She hasn't been there long enough to give people advice on their lives.

How nice that Dave was never a suspect. I could not handle another episode where the gang argues about the guilt or innocence of their friend and lets their angst getting in the way of being professionals.

Favorite line of the night? Dave saying "I have seen a dead body before" while still explaining the experience shook him up a little bit.

Do most parents think about their baby's initials? There are worse sets of initials than J.A.P., but still ... At least they didn't name the baby after David's co-workers.

I think I just blanked out on everything that The Shue said, kind of like static for me. Its the only way to make her tolerable. Does anyone else know how popular she is on other forums?

On another subject, I do wish that television shows would stop making the job of gym teacher, physical education teacher, sound like its a lessor job. Its not like its an easy degree to get; not from my experience. No, its not the dubious glory days of high school football star but its not anything to sneeze at either.

Thinking back on some of my high school classmates, the answer is no. Mellisa Ann Dunlop, Amy Sue Smith (really!), Robert Andrew Thompson...
I liked this episode-David is a nice guy, not too much Shue, acknowledgement that high school and reunions suck ass....

I for the most part enjoyed the episode, but the lawyer was a perfect example of "hollywood ugly", to the point that it took me out of the scene. A hot chick like her complaining about the pretty people... I almost felt like breaking out into a verse of "At Seventeen" just in mockery of the scene.

Probably not. I knew someone who named their baby without even thinking what the initials would spell. Baby's name was Adam Scott Smithton.

Liked that this episode was about David.

And because it can't be said enough.....less Shue please.
