Really wish Joe would've won the at-home. But he still wins the Hottie Award, so there's that.
Bringing out TC, Michael, Cate, and Francie together was kinda cruel. It was like the Whoops, They're Still Heavy segment. Speaking of TC, how much makeup did he have on?! Good lord, it was creepy.
Pam is still highly annoying, but she does have some fantastic legs.
Lisa is GORGEOUS. My jaw dropped. Loved her, LOVED her red dress. I also loved Gina's dress. And Ali's dress.
Jeff's pants were too short when he walked out. That's all I could see during his big reveal.
Sunny is gorgeous, I loved her prom dress (what is it with short prom dresses nowadays?). But homegirl needs to stand up straight!!
But again - yay Danni!!

Oh and Jackson is so adorably gay! He looked 12 though. And really disappointed that TC still couldn't do what he needed to do. He nearly killed his kid. How could he not do everything to get thin??

I thought Francelina was looking pretty good, and they'd all lost some, though they need to lose more.
When the back story was given on most of them, I remembered them, but I have no memory of Cate.
For all I know, they could have thrown her in the finale, as joke on all of us.
I bet Subway's not happy with Courtney as a spokesman, because she looks like a before picture. And doesn't her family own some similar fast food place, as well as a gym?

I felt bad for Francie - you could see the loose skin around her knees. She's lost around 200 lbs, so a lot of loose skin is understandable. She'll probably have to have the surgery.
Gina and Lisa also looked great. Joe did great too - he seems like a good guy.

Yup, they ran a Dairy Queen. Courtney worked there. I wonder if she still does. You're right, though. She does not make a good spokesperson for any kind of weight loss program. I don't remember what she looked like at her own finale, but it seems she put back on whatever she may have lost. It's a shame, really.
Loved that Danni won. Happy for the kids.
Wondering if Jeff and Francie broke up. There was no mention of any type of romance between them, and certainly no engagement announcement. Perhaps Jeff dumped her for Bob.

One issue I have with this show every year is that with weeks and weeks of buildup to determine a winner, they have the final weigh in about 45 seconds before the show ends. I wouldn't mind seeing even 5 minutes of celebrating and maybe even an interview with the winner. Hell's Kitchen (my only other reality show vice) does the exact same thing.

Yay Danni!!! Sadly - that hair. I thought she seemed way loopy there for a while and then she pulled it together. I also thought Jillian telegraphed her win with the hugging comments. But 1 pound? Wow. Girl has some serious muscle going on too. Jillian wins in her return. Small yay.
Jackson - eh.
Joe should have won the at home prize so that Dolvett would have a winner.
Gina looked okay, but I still can't stand her. Hope to never see her again.
Jeff - sucks to be you. 1 pound. Bob - bwahahahahahahhaa.....loser. I'll bet you are real happy Jillian's back now, aren't you?
Francelina - beautiful girl, I felt for her trying to hold her arms at her sides because of her loose skin.
No mention at all of her "relationship" with Jeff? Hm...
Lisa looked incredible - her husband did too. I wish they would have had a special prize just for her - oh wait, she got that extra long hug from Dolvett. You win Lisa.
I really can't recall much about the others, that blonde girl didn't ring a bell at all. Go figure.
The kids - good riddance. I guess TBL had to give their weight loss numbers since that little girl at home last week blew them all out of the water with the 100 pounds lost.
Journey seems to have discovered a few dozen pounds since we last saw her. She must be working in the fast food place while mom is working in the gym. Too bad, so sad Subway. Eat fresh indeed.
I thought I caught a glimpse of Fredo(?) from a few years back. Livin large again I see.
Yes, I'm a bitch for pointing out the weight gain on some of these people, but ... eh, I'm a bitch - no other excuse.
Another season done - a new winner - can we never see Olivia again please? Buh-bye, there's a new She-riff in town.

And was I the only one who forgot how big some of these contestants were? A lot of them came out and I thought, "wow, they didn't lose very much"...until I saw their "before" montage. Whoa.
Bob: What is up with your shirt? And your shorty pants and those boots? Dude, you need a visit from Tim Gunn.
Pam: I fear you will be forever plagued by that disproportionately sized stomach. And stop doing that dance.
Kate: That wrap-around blue gauze dress does nothing for your figure.
Alex: You look fly, honey!
A lot of the guys are still "before" pics.
Surprise of the night, #1: Lisa. Holy. CRAP! She looks fantastic. I'm sad that Gina beat her out for at-home winner, because Lisa really looked the best out of that group - a true "after". (I'm surprised Gina lost as much weight as she did, because she looks like she has more to lose.)
I also felt bad for Joe, who lost a whopping 147 lbs that nobody noticed because he didn't beat Gina for the at-home prize. Congrats, Joe!
Surprise of the night, #2: Danni. Are you KIDDING ME? First off, girl looks stunning. Except for her hair. Whoever did her hair should be taken out back and shot. It looks HORRIBLE. Nobody wants a helmet!! I'm undecided on the dress - I kind of like it, in an 80's nostalgia sort of way.
I admit it - the kids look good. Especially Bingo. I still couldn't listen to him speak. And the Lindsay cheerleading thing made me cringe, even in fast-forward. I was glad to see that Sunny's dress was appropriately covering her cleavage.
Surprise of the night, #3: Courtney appears again. Has that girl put back on weight? Sigh. Did she just say, "Journey" 10 times when she spoke? I didn't bother to listen.
And then....Danni wins, yeah!!!! I feel a little bad for Jeff, because he did manage to bring it. I didn't think he would.

America voted for Jackson and Courtney. *rolling eyes* Courtney looks like she needs to have another weight loss "journey" Was Jackson on something? He was too hyper. I still cannot stand him.
Danni's outfit, makeup and hair made her look like a high-priced call girl. Not happy that Jillian's pet project won but, in a some small way,she is better than Ali and Olivia. I wonder if Jeff will drop Francelia because the man was drooling in his socks when Danni walked out.
I was hoping Joe would have won the at home prize. Joe, Lisa, Alex and David look great.
Imo, this show is slowly going downhill with each season. At least this season was shorter (the only good thing this season.)

I thought everyone looked great except Cate, who still lost 60 or so pounds, so yay for her anyway. I didn't remember TC at all or the guy who they said was Jillian's favorite.
For all the negative reaction to Danni's hair, my cousin was on Facebook just raving about her. I told her not to tell me who won because I was watching in time delay. So my sweet young cousin, who's about Danni's age, thought she looked amazing. Huh. Whoever said she looks like Kelly Clarkson nailed it.
I was in the position of not hating anyone this finale. Such a welcome relief from last year, when I hated most of them!
Echoing how great Danni, Lisa and Gina looked. Gina has said she gained 100 lbs since she got married, and she lost 113, so she's actually thinner than she was when her husband married her.
Good for the kids losing that kind of weight. Now that Noah has started his growth spurt, I imagine he'll look less like a child and more like a teen. I hope he can keep the weight off as his body matures.
No shiny dresses! Finally, they listened to me. Next note, BL: Not everyone needs to show up sleeveless. If you're willing to super-Spanx them into finale clothes, there's no reason to showcase wobbly arms, which most people will have, especially with weight loss.

I saw the Danni victory coming from ten miles away. She deserved the win, but she was given the winner's edit all season long. In the end, she was too thin for my liking, and her hair looked like hell, but I knew she was going to win. And I wouldn't doubt that TPTB ensured that the victory was by the oh-so-slim margin of one pound.
"WOW! She won it all! And by ONLY ONE POUND! OMG!"
Gag.

Danni is like Tara x2, so that would make her about Olivia x50.PLEASE make this be true. I pray that Danni takes that spot away from Olivia.
All that muscle almost made her lose. But... she's the first Biggest Loser maybe ever who doesn't have to redistribute her weight after the show to be optimally healthy. The girl looks like a Superheroine the way she is now.Wow. Girl has some serious muscle going on too.
The She-Mullet was unfortunate, but that's easy enough to fix.
"At the end of the day... look at me" should go down in show history as maybe the best winner line ever.
Yeah, B-II-N-G-O was still doing his Nickelodeon extended audition tape.Love that Danni won, but Gina winning the at home and the lovefest of Bingo from Ali almost made me lose it.
Gina winning the at home sucked. Not that Joe was a favorite of mine either (although he grew on me a bit near the end)--actually I would have loved that lady who got ejected early to have won.
I was surprised Sunny didn't lose more weight, but she still looked pretty nice. If she takes it off slower, there's nothing wrong with that, and she's a tall girl anyway, so its not like she should be a tiny little thing weight wise. No doubt her mother isn't really helping the situation--we only got a brief glance of her, but it didn't look like she'd lost any weight (and the show definitely would have milked it if she had).
I know its subjective, but did you see all the visible muscle on that girl? Enough that it almost made her lose, in fact. She was the very opposite of the skin and bones winners we've often gotten in the past, I'd say.I saw the Danni victory coming from ten miles away. She deserved the win, but she was given the winner's edit all season long. In the end, she was too thin for my liking,
I would say she was right at the limit. If she'd had to take of 2 or 3 more pounds to win, she'd never have done it. Mostly because it would have had to come from that muscle. So she WAS maybe marginal in the sense that she had virtually no body fat left. But it was hardly an "eat a sandwich" type situation, in my opinion, because to maintain that muscle I bet she's actually eating a LOT of sandwiches. Her calorie count is probably actually pretty high.

Yes, Danni was very well-developed. I won't bother to get into debunking the old "muscle weighs more than fat" myth, but as a former weight lifter and bodybuilder, I will say that muscle utilizes more calories than fat. Danni burned more calories just sitting around than any of the other contestants did, that's for sure.
And we certainly didn't get to see what Danni looked like during the REAL weigh-in, only what she looked like during the fake weigh-in on the live finale.
As far as "too thin" goes, that's strictly my taste. I find myself attracted to females who have just a couple of extra pounds. They look, for lack of a better word, "healthier" to me. Now perhaps that comes from having spent so much time in the gym, watching women work out until they over-developed themselves until they had a very masculine build and/or leaned themselves out as much as possible for competitions.
In my book, Danni looked the best to me on the last taped episode of the season. No denying that she's lean and fit, but to my eye I preferred her on the previous episode.

I do think it's kind of unfortunate that Courtney won but it's important to remember that she was like 500lbs or something. She had to lose 100 lbs to make it onto the biggest loser and so even if she's not perhaps the ideal 'after' contestant she still is an after.
And I think Jackson looks like he could be Noah's slightly older brother now. Now he actually looks like he's 19 years old.

I thought the majority of the other contestants looked pretty good with the exception of TC and Cate. Both need to continue on their weight-loss "journey". I muted the show when the kids were being featured. They added next to nothing to the whole show as far as I was concerned.
Oh yes, Pam....I wonder if her family cringes as much as many of us do when she does her little "dance"? Did anyone else notice how long Lisa hugged Dolvett? Can anyone blame her? I say dump Jillian and Bob and give us more Dolvett!

Danni should be the new face of BL. Se looks UH-MAZ-ING.
I agree. Get rid of Olivia and Hannah and start putting Danni everywhere. We haven't heard anything from Ali in awhile (who I still like), but I assume her picture is still on all the BL products. Maybe Danni can take her spot, too.

The kids looked great. Lindsey needs to work on her cheering but she is in 7th grade and was cheering with the high school squad. There was no way she was going to look great. I am sure if she was cheering with a group of kids her own age she would look better. Biingo was guarenteed to make that team because of the show but he could legitimaly be a decent baseball player. He did seem to hit pretty well when he was playing baseball that one time. I wouldn't be surprised if the team had multiple squads and levels and he could be on one of the other teams. Sunny looked good. She still has some work to do but it she sure does look great and is clearly on the right path. It sounds like the kids have actually started the process in a pretty healthy way and will continue on the path. I like that.
Jackson annoyed the crap out of me. It is probably because he is so young and kind of an attention whore. He is not going to be in good shape when the cameras go away and he stops getting attention. Joe looked awesome and I think is in a good place. It helps that his brother is working hard to get into shape and be healthier. He has a support system to lean on. Jeff is in for some trouble. I don't think his friends are all that supportive and he is going to have to make some serious life changes to maintain his life change. Clearly some of the contestants have more work to do but even the ones who are still obesse are healthier then they were when they started the show. Hopefully they will continue to lose weight and become even more healthy.

Danni? Meh, can't care. She looked good (body wise--her hair/outfit is debatable) but she was just SO telegraphed as the winner this season that it was so anti-climactic. Though if this means we won't have to see Olivia anymore, then I'll jump right on the Danni bandwagon, no problem (Annoy-livia drives me nuts).
So, now that Jillian came back and trained the winner, will she be around next season or just use this "come back" as a way to shill her next exercise dvd or diet pill? I wonder if Bob will take the same route, bowing out of TBL for a bit then burst back onto the scene with a new workout dvd (or diet pill). I say scrap them both and keep Dolvett as the "veteran" and get some new blood in there. Dolvett deserves a chance to really SHINE and the viewers deserve a chance to enjoy a trainer for a change instead of praying they'll lose their voice and stop shrieking at the contestants ever second. (and full disclosure, I own and use JM and Bob exercise dvds--their exercise dvd personalities are much more palatable than their TV personas).
I think the biggest "wow" moment was seeing Journey again. She didn't look good. And they're going to use her to shill Subway? Are they going to have her do the "Jared diet", then show her standing in her fat pants telling us all we need to do is eat disgusting Subway subs and we can be thin, too? Subway pisses me off with their "we're healthy" bullshit. They sell MORE crap food items (chips, soda, cookies, junky sandwiches like meatball laden with cheese, etc) than healthy. Just because they only talk about the handful of healthy crap they sell does not make them a GOOD food choice. (bah, that just irks me so much!!)
I hope they don't have kids next season. They were just too annoying (lazy, mugging for the camera Bingo), painful to watch (Lindsay/Ashley--I still can't remember her name but her awkwardness was just so painful to watch), and self-righteous (Sunny preaching to her mom). I can get that from the CONTESTANTS I don't need it from a bunch of kids who haven't even lived life yet.
