My favorite...was she inadvertently de-pimped by going last Thurs night?? I saw that her victory song wasn't viewable to those who may have Tivo'd the show. is that correct?

Winner in my book.

Vocally an amalgam of Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson with the looks of Katharine McPhee (when she was early in the competition).

Has a pretty face but a bit plump so won't be too threatening to the housewives voting.

Yup

Yup

Yup

I think she will slim down as the season progresses. Not that it really matters I think she will be successful regardless.

In a desert of shitty country singers who have been on this show, she's thankfully an oasis who can actually sing.

It IS a little unfair that she may get a bump over some others because the Idol audience has gone Country Nuts the past few years. But at least if it led to good things for Kree, I'd be more than okay with it, versus the media and cliche friendly country talent vacuums named Janelle Arthur and Paul Jolley.

I think Kree is already tons better than Underwood and/or Clarkson. When Kree sings I don't feel like she's yelling at me (which I feel on most Underwood & Clarkson songs).

Kree for the win! I love her buttery voice. I love that she sang Susan Tedeschi has week for her "victory song". Blues, baby. More please.

Kree's take on Crying was beautiful and soothing and I like the fact that she didn't choose an obvious Carrie song. She's my favorite this season for sure. It doesn't seem that she's the judges favorite judging from their over-the-top praise of others (Amber, Angie) but maybe that's a good a thing for now. I don't want her to get blown out of contention by the over-pimping backlash.

I think she has a beautiful voice but I find her boring. However, I wouldn't be mad if she won.

Kree FTW! Not only is she killing it every week, I really like how she comes across....soft-spoken, relaxed, comfortable just being herself, yet still manages to get in a good one-liner here and there. She would be a great talk-show guest if she launches a career out of this.

I haven't been this attracted to a female AI competitor since Katharine McPhee. There is something incredibly sexy about her, even when there are girls around her in skimpy clothes and showing of their... assets.. She is super talented and the tone of her voice is so beautiful. She also reminds me a bit of Brandi Carlile, who I also love.

I believe Kree has a very good chance at winning. And not for nothing, she already has the "one-name" thang goin' on.

What kind of name is Kree? Why do they even cast boring chicks like this anymore? Her performances for me, thus far, have been the cure for insomnia. I see nothing remarkable about her. My only word of advice to Kree is to put down the Krispy Kreemes because miss thing is a little hefty...

I'm confused. What's her name have to do with anything?

In terms of her weight? Yeah, prove it affects her voice and I'll address that. Until then? Don't see the relevance of that either.

I actually find Kree very likable and down to earth. Her backstory is interesting, she's one of the few girls there with a soul. I have enjoyed all her performances so far, some of them may have been a bit sleepy or boring but... so are everyone else's. She has a great voice, very subtle and full of soul. She is pretty and probably looks like most women in America, rather than some pageant queen with 10 gallons of makeup on. She's raw and real. Her size is normal for most American women, I see no problem with it at all. And I think Kree is an interesting and unique name. She's by far my favorite girl this year and I really hope she wins.

Being a little plump and reserved doesn't hurt female contestants. It sure didn't hurt Carrie Underwood's chances on Idol. Kree on occasion sounds uncannily like Carrie. Especially the first few bars of "Crying".

I like Kree a lot. At first she was my favorite but Candice has bumped her out of the top spot for me. The are one and two in my book.

Amber is #3. She might be higher on my list but she seems to lack confidence and I can't connect well with her. I chalk it up to age.

Candice is young too and not the most confident person either. The difference is that Candice is working hard at not letting it get the best of her - and she is succeeding.

I like to see young people come into their own. She is maturing before our eyes and I find it lovely.

Angie is #4. She has a phenomenal voice and really is probably the most diverse artist of the bunch...singer, songwriter and musician - and good at all 3! But for some reason, it just doesn't do it for me.

The blond girl is good too, but not like the other 4.

They all beat the guys in my book, though, and I would to see a final 5 of all women. When they show is over, it would be fun to see them make an album or something.

Yes, I got that too, although I think she's a slightly different kind of artist; she sings backing vocals on Kacey Musgraves' new album, and I see her leaning in that kind of slightly left-field end of country. She has my favourite voice in the competition.

She still has a ways to go until she's got hips, thighs and butt as huge as Lazaro's! Now that's a guy that needs to put down the donuts!

I know the show is pimping Angie to win this, but I think Kree could seriously take it. The girl has a huge voice and range, and if she lost some weight, she'd look stunning. I think she played it clever by dressing very plainly in the beginning so she appears to "evolve" through the rounds.

This girl needs wardrobe help. I don't see her evolving. She continues to wear that ugly ass white jacket. She even looks like she wears shoulder pads at times. And it doesn't help that she's really stiff when performing. I think she has a wonderful voice but I don't get any kind of stage presence from her.

It would be nice if Kree wore a dress sometimes to change it up. (Same thing for Candice.)

Kree just skews "old" to me for some reason. Actually, she and Candice seem very similar to me: they can definitely sing, they're both consistent, almost to the point of being consistently boring. I think they both need a firecracker up their asses to liven things up, lol.

I agree with all of this, but all of the above applied to Carrie Underwood too when she was on the show, and it didn't hurt her one bit. Not saying Kree's gonna end up like Carrie, but a contestant always evolves in their looks, presentation, stage presence after the show anyway. That goes for both the winners and losers. So I'm not worried for Kree in that regard. If she wins, she'll have stylists and coaches at her disposal to make her look like a STAH!

Thats a fair point. And I wouldn't be surprised to see a transformation post show. I will say though that Carrie was inherently gorgeous and got glammed up post show. I'm not saying Kree is ugly or anything like that. But she's also not Carrie level pretty. We'll see what happens.

How cool must it be to have a living legend call in and say you nailed one of her signature songs. That's a moment for her, no matter what else happens.

While I'm pretty sure the producers are pimping Kree for the win, I'm starting to believe now that Janelle is the one to watch. I hadn't even paid any attention to Janelle before this week, but If Kree gets stuck with the "good but boring" label and Janelle continues to improve, I could see her winning.

What she lacks is personality and a memorable stage presence. It's not just about singing and I don't see her having the "It" factor that would make me intersted in buyinig her music or seeing her perform live.
