I was told that this is speculation so the opening montage of the first episode shows John Rich.

In addition, many of the montage clips are taken from the CHI challenge.

Also one of the pics is Brett sliding on the floor. It is not the challenge that they just completed. So either he comes back to help one of the final two, comes back in general, or it was b-roll, there was a clip of him not related (at least to my eye) to the first challenge.

It might just be me but I get a strong impression that DT wants Dennis and Gary in the game for as long as possible. He continually gives Dennis big "props' every time they go to the boardroom. Yet, it seems to me that his only major accomplishment is staying sober and showing up on time.

I don't know what his thing is with Gary only to say that he knows his antics make for what is considered good TV.

I just wish his team would get a clue and until they have exact evidence and proof of his ineptness on the team, they need to just pretend he is a "guest" on the team and leave him off when asked that dreaded question of "who is your weakest member".
