Gee, I'm wondering what the show will do if they get a gay contestant.

We watched this show as a family and really enjoyed it. My son is a scout and I was really glad he got to watch this. He said they should use this show to show the boys this stuff instead of the big meetings (he finds them boring-he likes the activities.) I am always so impressed with the Eagle Scouts, it takes a tremendous amount of work to accomplish that.
I'm glad the scouts as judges didn't take the "survivor" route and eliminate the best player to make their chances better. Of course that is not very scout-like to do that. The one adult that had trouble with the slingshots really was doomed. The dude trying to match his Eagle scout brothers probably made the teasing worse wussing out in the canoe section.
The host was good and didn't insert himself into the action. I think he said Camp Winton is the locale? That's one of our options for camp this summer! It certainly was beautiful. We set a season pass for this show,it looks like they will all be unique challenges as opposed to this winner advancing.

I find this show enjoyable. The challenges are based on real scout challenges.
But after two episodes, it seems no one is tougher than a Boy Scout.
If going on this show, slingshot practice is in order.

When a medic pulls you from competition, and you still win the challenge, something is off.
Again, slingshot practice comes into play (although a large one).
Even if both players reached the jet-ski at the same time, simple physics would tell you that the heavier one would come in last.
Can't they cast some "more athletic" adults?

I know they changed it up in later episodes, but it was REALLY pathetic in the first episode seeing three guys in their late 40s or early 50s go up against young men in their late teens--their peak physical condition of their whole lives probably. Can't they cast some "more athletic" adults?

I'm hearing the death knell for this show. When a network shows two new back to back episodes on the same night, the end is near.
It's too bad. I really enjoyed this show.
I liked the setup on tonight's second episode, where the adults competed against each other in the first part. This seems to be a better setup than having the adults compete against the Scouts.
Guess I'm the only one watching this.
