Did anyone watch this? It was a one-off special on Destination America a few days ago.

Destination America premieres a new one-hour special, THE PARANORMAL PROJECT, in which real people take it upon themselves to capture evidence of supernatural phenomena in their homes. No investigators. No camera crew. The most terrifying haunted house may be your own.

Documented by real people who believe their homes are paranormal playgrounds, THE PARANORMAL PROJECT uses security cameras and handheld recording devices in an attempt to capture real ghostly activity in two homes.

Chris bought a Civil War hospital sight unseen over the internet that he now intends to restore and turn into his new home. But all these years later, the building in in Keokuk, Iowa, is a paranormal battleground for soldiers who never returned home from the war.
In Clovis, Cal., Shawna and her family reach their breaking point as she experiences vicious attacks from an unseen entity. Paranormal investigators refuse to help, believing it's a demon they are no match for. Now the family takes it into their own hands to save themselves from the dark forces at work.

I'm still not sure about the second case. "Oh, there's a face in the mirror. It's showing teeth." I didn't see it & they weren't even startled? The first one was looking good until the mom got possessed & the boyfriend turned into Mika from Paranormal Activity.

I call FAKE on that second story. They were all acting (except the poor child that was left in the hallway crying for her mother) and not that well either. Mom started laughing when she "came out of it" because she could not keep a straight face any longer. Fakey McFake.

The first story was somewhat suspect. Why did he buy a home off the internet in a different state in that bad of repair? The house is spooky and probably has a lot of things that go bump in the night but I have no idea what he was doing there.

And the camera work was awful. I want to see the house not the camera attached to him showing nothing but the bright light on his head.

Good idea but poor execution.

Ah I mixed up the order lol on the show itself they were in the opposite order from the description I pasted.

I still can't believe it. He must have a screw loose. I wonder how much it was? I'd love to live in a 150 year old house too, and from the outside it looked ok. Where do you even buy a house online, ebay?

Yeah, they pushed it too far. They might have gotten away with it if not for that "possession" and the boyfriend's acting. I hope that poor little girl was acting too, and just did a better job than the others. She seemed so scared and that dumb boyfriend saying "I'll get her back, I promise!" made it even worse.
