The team investigates the death of a Cuban singer's sister; Hodges starts to feel apprehensive about marrying his girlfriend.

Watched it, didn't really care if they solved it or not. To me, a throw away story.

It didn't take too long to figure it was the singer who killed her sister but I thought it was going to be because of their past history with the other family, not common jealousy.
Sara was there but there was no Sara angst...maybe the talk with Grissom went well. Or the writers forgot all about it.
I thought it was a pretty good episode overall, if not especially memorable.

Trey, I saw the previews. Based on them I wish the writers had forgotten about the Sidle Angst.
The story was bleah. Wish we could have gotten Nick speaking Spanish. I love it when he does that. I really don't care about Hodges' personal life (or anyone else on the show for that matter). And Why In the Hell was Hodges explaining to Nick how cyanide works? pretty sure he knows that already.

No one had an issue with the random dog in the lab? The rules in this place. Geeze.

I felt like this was a CSI: Miami episode. Can't you just see creepy Caruso hugging the poor sister instead of Brass (although she'd have to be wearing white)? I missed the first half hour and knew from the moment I saw her that it was the sister.

I wondered about that, too. At first, I thought we were being shown Nick at his apartment and then the camera pulled away to show his office. At least, Grissom kept his pig in a jar where it couldn't contaminate evidence. Although, I forget what episode--it was after Grissom left, I seem to remember that there's at least one tarantula loose in the building somewhere.
