I like this character. I don't really seem him as a new Jim, other than the fact that he's the resident "hot single guy" of the Office. Jim was always kind of a sardonic ass, despite his charm, whereas this character seems very supportive of everyone. I think I officially liked Pete when he was pretty supportive of Kevin for knocking down the Complaint Card Tower, and he cemented that by having memorized Die Hard. I used to do geeky things like that.

I also find Erin much more likeable around him...they definitely have better chemistry than Erin and Andy.

I really, really liked the interplay with Pete and his very bitter ex. I'm guessing that this was the ex that he was friends with on Facebook? The bit about how Pete had a drinking problem in college had me rolling.

Jake Lacey has been a pretty good find...I hope he'll start landing some big projects after this ends.
