This game show/pop culture show comes to TV from Funny or Die, and is quite hilarious in an "all kinds of wrong" way.

New Yorkers are accosted by the host, who screams rapid fire questions about popular culture, many of them purely subjective, in their faces.

My teenaged daughter says it's had a previous life on You Tube. Are there any other adults out there who kinda love this ridiculous show.

I LOVE this show! I love Billy. He cracks me up.

The last ep had Rachel Dratch running an obstacle course with a Julia Roberts theme. It was hilarious.

Yeah - I saw that! Somehow I managed to waste a couple of hours of my busy life watching this stuff with my family. The mixture of vulgarity, rude humor, popcult references, and, of course, the shock, amusement and yes, occasional fear in the reactions of my fellow NYers makes for a winning combination that appeals to all ages!

Billy is hilarious. I also love the "prizes". I think it was in the Julia Roberts episode that the little girl won that huge pair of jeans...?

I think those jeans were taller than she was!

I live in Southern Ca, and occasionally I try to imagine this show being done in LA. It wouldn't be half as good. NYers are just more interesting and natural, I think.

I don't think Time Warner in NYC carries Fuse, which is bizarre since their headquarters are right out there across from Penn Station, very visible. I have seen some bits on you tube, and they're funny, but I think it might be annoying to watch a whole show. He's just so loud. I do want to run into him on the street and have him ask me questions.

I watch it on Cablevision. Yeah - weird that TW wouldn't carry it.

Still, if you ever get the opportunity, check it out. The screaming is definitely quite a large part of the show, but there is enough interaction with the "contestants" that it kind of breaks it up.

My favorite part, possibly, is the range of reaction he receives. It can be anything from hugs and laugher, to argument, to abject terror.

I also love the way people respond when they find out they are competing for a dollar. In one of the episodes I saw yesterday, Billy had a long disagreement with a woman about whether or not Denzel Washington had ever appeared on Broadway in Les Miz. It got quite contentious, but the woman did insist on getting the dollar anyway!

I would actually love to see an LA version, peeayebee. I do agree it would probably be quite different, but still funny.

It was Phantom, not Les Mis. That was on you tube at least a couple of weeks ago. She was convinced he was in Phantom in 2005. Actually, he was in Fences in 2010, so he was on bway. Maybe it was near the Phantom theater.

You're right - it was Phantom!

Did you see the one where Billy had someone draw Dr. Phil, then asked pedestrians to identify the subject of the drawing? Pretty funny!

Yes. I think two people thought it was Hitler. What amazed me was when the drawing was of Rosie O'Donnell, and someone easily identified it.

I understand if Billy's screaming gets annoying to some viewers, but that's not all he does. I love his snark, plus he's pretty quick-witted, so that's fun. I also enjoy when he's interacting with children or sweet old people. He does have different volume settings.

One of my favorite bits was with Will Ferrell. I liked seeing him honestly crack up when he was doing the quickie quiz. (Quizzed in the Face? I can't remember which one.) But what was even better was when Ferrell was competing with three girls to win an American Girl doll (or certificate, or something). The best part was when Ferrell and the last girl just screamed in each other's face.

'Billy on the Street' is one of my favorite TV shows right now, so I am glad that there are other people who enjoy it as well. I found out about this show at the beginning of season 2 and loved it so much that I watched all of season 1 that same day. Beyond that, I am originally from the NYC area, so I love to see Billy interact with New Yorkers who are just naturally wild and crazy. And, since I live in LA now, I can see BotS working here as well, probably downtown, in Hollywood or by the beach areas.

As for last night's episode, I was disappointed that Nas acted like such a stick in the mud during his quiz. It makes me wonder why he or his handlers even agreed to have him appear on the show...

I had to google Nas to see if that was really him (I spelled it Naz). I think he was trying to be funny, but he wasn't.

I loved Billy's reaction to Samantha telling him she was attracted to tall Black men, and then later when he introduced her to one of his producers. I also enjoyed their thumb war.

ETA -

I laughed SO hard when Billy was running down the street with Zachary Quinto playing 'It’s Spock, Do You Care?" I guess I mainly loved that because Zachary was laughing so much, but not as much as he did when he played "It Gets Better or Better Off Ted." (I also liked that game because I LOVED Better Off Ted.)

And I liked the Kardashian fashion show. "One thing you don’t know about Khloe until you meet her is that she loves to sniff the ground."

You just knew as soon as he mentioned the Kardashians, something terrible (in the best way) was about to happen.

I almost peed my pants during "It's Spock, Do You Care?" Some folks were damn near irate just being asked.

I liked "Smash or The Great Gatsby" but I loved "Katherine McPhee or Nanny McPhee."

When Billy was doing For a Dollar, he asked one lady to name an Allison, then he brought up Alyson Hannigan and said, “So she looks like Burger King. So what!” I'm guessing he was referring to the new Wendy's gal who looks like Hannigan.

I LOVED when he took the iced tea sample, silently drank it, and threw the cup on the ground and walked away without saying anything.

I took it to mean the creepy Burger King from the commercials a couple of years ago.

I don't know if my system suddenly added Fuse, but I have it now. I almost didn't find the show because it's called Funny or Die's Billy on the Street.

He really is too loud though. Normally I watch TV with the volume set on 29 or 30, but with Billy I have to lower it to 24. I walk on that Bryant Park block all the time - why can't Billy be there when I am?

braggtastic, I wonder the same thing. I work right near there myself. It looks like some of the segments are filmed over on 23rd Street by the Flatiron Building, another place I pass all the time. I'd love to see Billy in action!

I enjoyed Aleta, and I loved her laugh.

I liked seeing the extra bits that had been edited out. I wish more people chose for Billy to act out the answer in charades because he's hilarious to watch.

So was this the last show of the season?

Yes, season finale. Does Billy ever tweet when/where he's shooting? I have got to at least be in the background of a Bryant Park scene, even if he doesn't ask me anything.

Caught two eps (new to me!) tonight on Fuse. All the other clips I'd seen were online, like the Rashida clip braggtastic posted above. The loud/ screaming Billy is hilarious to watch, but him running down the street accosting people can't be too enticing for the New Yorkers. And peeayebee, I can't imagine this working in SoCal. Because the yelling and pace and running would just be too different. But! Imagine Billy on rollerblades on the beach! ;-) It's officially my 2nd favorite new show (after Bob's Burgers).

One of tonight's shows had a contestant drawing FiftyCent in 30 seconds, to see if anyone could name him from the drawing. But flat out, the best was Billy offering a dollar to a guy to name the most famous ugly person. I howled at that.

Did you see the last Bob's Burgers where Billy voiced the librarian? He was fantastic and one of the funniest things in the ep.

I don't even need to be the contestant for the full on game w/subjective round. I just want to be one of those "Miss, for a dollar" people.

Billy got nominated for a daytime Emmy for best game show host!! Way to go, Billy! His would be the acceptance speech of the night, I'm sure. I also saw him in the crowd on C-SPAN's feed of the White House Correspondent's Dinner.

Congrats to Billy! First time I'll ever be cheering for someone to win a daytime Emmy.

Fierce Competition: Alex Trebek, Wayne Brady, Steve Harvey, the guy from Cash Cab and Billy. Run, Billy run!

Between Fuse and FOD, I'm all caught up. Anyone have info when the next string of shows will run? I don't want to wait now that I found the show.

I was so happy to read on Twitter that Billy got a nom. I think Ben Bailey is outstanding on Cash Cab. He's won a couple of times, I think. I don't care for Trebek, but I suppose he's a good host. I haven't seen Brady or Harvey on their shows. I don't know how much of a chance Billy has, but it would be great if he won.
