In other words, all the usual places.

This is driving me crazy - can someone verify for me that this team was one of the ones featured on Paranormal Challenge? Daniel looks familiar, and Jordan (I think that's her name) sort of does too.
The "role reversal" thing that appears to be their trademark is simultaneously hilarious and cringe-inducing.

Willowsmom... I can totally do without another Lizze B or ES Pen investigation. UGH. So played out.
Just saw the Black Dahlia ep and am officially fuuuhhhreaked the eff out. The team does this thing called "a ripple in time" where they re-enact the murder or whatever (IMO it seems horribly distasteful for the victims of these murders) and they captured some chilling EVPs. Oh and the house they investigate is a huge Frank Lloyd Wright home in Hollywood.
Ananayel, let me google around and see what I can find. I agree, Daniel looks familiar.

Don't be freaked out about Black Dahlia. No one knows where the murder happened. The House they go to was owned by a doctor who's son decided his dad was guilty based on a photo that has been determined NOT to be Elizabeth Short.

I watched the Manhattan Church episode just now. I know it's not fair, but it really chafes me when these investigators get scared and leave the room when something happens.
Edit: That said, the team is likable & I would keep watching it.

While it's true that no one know where Elizabeth Short was actually killed, George Hodel was a very bad person, and some really awful stuff happened in that house, whether he was the killer or not. I recommend Steve Hodel's books - while that photo did turn out to not be Elizabeth Short, there was much more to his conclusions than just the photo.
I wiki'd and looked at the imdb listing for Paranormal Challenge, but there's nothing. I'm just going with them appearing on that show, since I can't think of another reason they'd look familiar. The "ripple in time" is quite disrespectful, moreso when there are living family members than with something like ES Pen or Borden. And they do get freaked out and leave as soon as they start getting "activity," so I don't think they're very good at this. If they're going to flee, they should at least make it entertaining, like the iconic Brian Harnois runaway on GH, or like the GAC boys do. Aaron running down the hallway of Linda Vista hospital yelling "No! Nonononononononononononono!" will never not be funny.

Eek! Now my curiosity is peaked about Stebe Hodel's book. I'll have to check it out. Yeah, that home has HAUNTED written all over it. Its oppressive and dark. No windows. I'll have to google the home and read more about it.
On the topic of disrespectful techniques [ie: a Ripple in Time]... the whole Lizzie B chopping up her father on the couch while Daniel yelled "Why would you doooo this to meeeee!!!??? I gave you a home to live in!" was in total poor taste. Also Jordan dressed as the BD, tied to a table saying "go ahead and hurt me etc" was also super icky to watch.

This has to be the worst one for the interpretation of EVPs. I don't hear anything close to what they say it is.

They're like the Klinge Brother's Ghost Lab but with out the unintentional humor. And the "big guy" fearlessness of the brothers.
The brothers employeed "era cues" which I never knew what the heck they were saying until I finally saw it in print. I thought it was like "Hercules" Poirot's first name is pronounce similar to era cues. I was so confused.
And it might have had something to do with the Texas accents.
Anyway, their little reenactments are silly. This show is silly.
I will give it a try, though. Perhaps it will evolve.
