I loved it. I find them both so incredibly likable. I thought she looked gorgeous - not my style of dresses, but I adored the little sleeves and she is skinny enough to pull that shape off. I absolutely adored the Celtic hand blessing that the moms read. I thought that was the most beautiful thing I've heard in a long time. Love them, and I can see them lasting!

No snark here for this one, just love!

Loved seeing them get hitched. And the kissing montage they showed was pretty telling. Even with the stupid Bently misdirection, the show had dozens of kisses from all different locations to show. Thinking back at Emily and Jef or most of the other couples that didn't last, Ashley and JP were clearly a couple during the show, even if she had to pretend to date others to try to drag out the suspense. It was nice, for once, to watch an actual love story unfold.

And they still seem very happy. I hope they make it for the long haul.

And I think it helps that they are both intelligent people who have lives outside the media. Ashley may like to play the ditz, but airheads don't become dentists.

I haven't posted in AGES but this wedding finally got me to come out of lurkdom. It was beautiful, romantic and so touching. I have only really loved a few couples from this show, Jen/Andrew, Meredith/Ian, Andy/Tessa and Ash/JP, so it's great to see at least one of them make it. I picked JP since his 1-on-1 after Bentley left and he was her rock ever since. To me it wasn't even a question of who she would pick after that. The fact that they stayed out of the limelight for the most part made me believe they were for real and would tie the knot. The wedding was to die for. Ashley looked so gorgeous with that dress, even though she could barely walk in it. The look on JP's face when he saw her made me cry. The vows, the prayer, everything was perfect. I thought it was so cute that JP was dying to kiss her throughout the ceremony and I swooned when he helped her with her train.

They seem to happy and smitten with each other, I know they're going to be together for the long haul. The fact that basically everyone in the Bachelor Nation family adores them, even Ben, speaks volumes about the type of people they are. So mazel tov to the Rosenbaum's! On another note, UGGGGH at ABC's pimping of Sean. His season hasn't even started and I'm already sick of him. I would've rather watched more of the reception than the preview of his season. If I never, ever see Emily M. again it won't be a day to soon. Ali and Roberto looked really cozy, so maybe the rumors of their hookup are true. I still think Roberto is too good for her but it's nice that they seem to get along. Nice to see Trista and Ryan, even though I wasn't a big Trista fan ever. I can't believe they've been married for 9 years! On a shallow note, where is Ryan's hair?!? Eek! Molly looked really pretty. I am super shocked those two actually lasted so good for them and their new addition. Jillian looked gorgeous and different. Did she have a nose job?

I'm not usually a fan of weddings, especially ones that have 20+ people and a dog in the wedding party, but this. was. beautiful. Mazel tov to Ashley and JP!

Now to the observations/snark:

- I realize ABC has to pimp their sponsors, but couldn't they find the Jewish groom a tux designer who isn't known for designing Nazi uniforms?

- Ali and Emily had bitch faces every time the camera was on them. Guess they had both hoped the "second wedding in Bachelorette history" would be theirs.

- I've never been a fan of Molly, but she does look lovely pregnant.

- Loved Chris Harrison's subtle dig about Mesnick being a less hot Bachelor than Sean.

- It looked like Jillian was there with a very handsome date. I hope she's found happiness after slimeball Ed.

- Still not excited about Sean's season, but a boyfriend actually showing up on the set and having a confrontation with Sean looks interesting.

- Loved everyone partying to Hava Nagila.

Did she have a nose job?

I read that she did. Honestly, I didn't even recognize her until they captioned her name.

Damn if I'm not just so happy for this couple. Their affection during and after the B'ette never felt forced the way it did with other alleged couples - Brad and Emily come to mind - who seemed to just be putting on a show. I did enjoy Emily's little self-deprecating humor about having fallen in love "a couple times."

My apologies to those with tattoos, because honestly, they usually don't bother me, but Ashley's sister's sleeve of tattoos really took away from the overall elegance. Of course, perhaps if the tats had been on a nicer, less fame-whorey person, they wouldn't have bothered me as much. Her sister grates big time.

Thought I would be more annoyed with the inclusion of Boo (really? Boo?) but in the end, thought it was a nice, personal touch.

I agree that while Ashley's dress is not my style, she totally pulled it off and looked more beautiful than I've ever seen her. JP's smile melts me, for crying out loud. She's a lucky girl.

Happy for Jason and Molly, and I agree, she looked great and they both looked happy. Ryan and Trista may have the best marriage in the world - I have no idea - but they always seem so stilted when they're on camera. I just hope that now that Ashley and JP are married, the Bachelor series will drop Trista and Ryan as their primary go-to married couple because my tv screen is tired of seeing them.

Loved JP's mom. She seemed so genuine with her tears and her happiness.

Actually liked Chris Harrison as the officiant, but loved the brief moment of annoyance on Ashley's face when Chris told them he was interviewing them to see if they are ready for marriage.

I had to wonder, what with all the Bachelor/ette alumni there, how much room was left for friends and family?

Anyway, glad to see these two tie the knot (in reference to that lovely ceremony they had). Hope they last a long time and make adorable pint-sized babies.

No snark from me either. I thought the wedding was very lovely and it seems that Ashley & JP truly are very happy and in love. Hope they can make it work through the good times and the bad times in the coming years.

Love, love, JP's mom and dad. They seem so loving and welcoming of Ashley into their family.

Poor Ashley having to put up with fameho sister who can barely contain her jealously that it was Ashley getting the fab wedding on tv, not her.

I had to wonder, what with all the Bachelor/ette alumni there, how much room was left for friends and family?

I don't think it was that many people, maybe 25 tops. Just couple of guys from her season, Ames, Mickey (who looked to be at the bachelor party, he was always JP's closest friend on the show), William, and Nick & his $250,000. Ashley Spivey & Emily from Brad 2.0. If there were any other girls there from Brad 2.0, I didn't see them. Ali and Roberto trying not to be a couple and failing. Then Philly Craig and Michael Stagliano from Jillian's season and Graham who JP has become friends with post show. Plus the three couples: Trista & Ryan, Molly & Jason, Deanna & Stephen Stagliano. Oh and Jillian and her new, younger boyfriend, some Canadian snowboarder.

Britt Bellmaier (the food writer/really skinny blond girl) was in some of the pics on the ABC website. She was Brad 2.0, and was cut on the 2-on-1 in Aruba.

I can't get over the very weird collection of Bachelor peeps. William? really? He was such a jerk to Ashley her season. How did he ever get an invite? And Deanna? Why was she there?

Dang! Why did it have to show opposite Survivor's finale? I'm glad to hear it was beautiful, though, as they are definitely two nice people who were clearly in love. I think Ashley's peach, feathery proposal dress was the prettiest thing I ever saw so I just didn't expect anything to top that, but I like the little sleeves.

I was wholly prepared to fall asleep during the show and not make it to the ceremony, but, darn it, those two happy kids really drew me in, and I was riveted. They were so cute together--from the practice kisses to JP just wanting anything Ashley wanted and from Ashley knowing which ring JP would want to the little JP decal on her mani/pedi. I wasn't completely sold on them as a couple during her season, but just as Ashley's sister realized she was wrong seeing them together, so was I.

I think William was there as part of JP's group of friends from filming. I'm sure in the past 18 months he has had time to apologize for his poor attempt at humor at Ashley's expense and everyone's has moved on.

Didn't ABC trot out both Deanna and Ashley during Ben's ATFR show. maybe that's when they got to meet and be "friends". And Deanna and Stephen were listed in the happy bachelor/ette couple club at the beginning of the episode, so maybe they made the cut as a "happy" bachelor couple.

I truly loved this. Ashley and JP seem so genuine and real. Even in the moments I rolled my eyes at the cheesiness, I did so with a smile on my face because you could tell it was just them being them. I loved seeing some of the past contestants and others like the famewhoring DeAnna and Emily need to get the hell off my tv.

I liked their special, they looked happy and un-fake. I think how they are together, they're real. Really
sweet she had her walk down the aisle with her father and stepfather. Including them both.

Michael Stagliano? Nick Peterson. Emily fresh off her broken relationship? Interesting guest list. The ending credits looked like they had a lot of fun at the reception though, I saw Jason and ChrisH a lot on the dance floor.

Loved her dress.

I happened to be looking at my DVR guide today in order record something, and noticed the wedding is being rerun on E! this upcoming Sunday at 8 pm. So if you still want to see it, there's at least one more chance.

Adding to the guest list, I'm pretty sure Michelle Money was there too. I then remembered that she was the one who called Ashley and told her Bentley was a bad seed and was doing the show for fame (someone correct me if I'm wrong, I tried to erase the whole Bentley drama from my mind and focus on JP).

Ashley's squeals and jumping into JP's arms were beginning to get on my nerves, but she certainly makes him happy! He looked so genuinely in love and smitten with her, it was really sweet.

I liked how the families got along, especially Ashley and JP's mom. To win over the groom's mom, especially when you met on a tv show says good things about all involved.

And it was sweet that JP said what he wanted for the wedding what was ever made her happy. And when they were picking rings, she knew exactly which ring he would pick.

I even liked Boo in the wedding. I was worried for a while when they were looking at the doggie clothes. I love dogs and can understand them wanting her to be a part of things. But it wasn't over the top. She was carried in wearing her fancy new white leash. No doggie clothes. No doggie ring bearer. It was a nice balance, having her come down the aisle, but not making over the top.

I also liked when they talked about kids that JP wanted her to finish her residency first (another 18 months I think).

Oh the one thing I did not smile when I rolled my eyes was the Ty Junior or Molly Junior. Isn't that kid like 7 or 8 by now and a little too old for silly antics like that? Kids can get away with that til maybe 4-5 but it just is not so cute coming from a kid that age.

I enjoyed the wedding. I did not enjoy the famewhores that just couldn't help themselves - Emily, DeAHHHHHHna, Mesnick, for starters. He and his wife live in the area. I actively avoid his "appearances". The biggest famewhore of them all, though - a tie between Chris Harrison (Officiant! Reception Host! Interviewer! Pre-marriage counselor!) and Ashley's sister. I feel sorry for Ashley. Instead of celebrating her big day, her sister couldn't get her mug on camera enough. My apologies to those who love tattoos, but I couldn't believe she did not cover up or conceal hers for the day. Then again, she wanted the attention, didn't she?

Harrison has NO business "advising" anyone else on what makes a good marriage. We fast-forwarded through the endless interviews.

It would have been nice to see more wedding and less previous Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants, future Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants, etcetera. Ashley looked beautiful, and JP was beaming. Mazel Tov and all happiness to them!

Whenever the sister is in the picture Ashley becomes visibly tense. I don't think those two get along at all. This article says that Ashley only wants one child - in my experience, people who grew up with siblings but want only one child wish they'd been only children themselves.

I was really looking forward to watching the wedding, I've really missed the Bach and Bach-ette. But there is no snark from me for this event. I loved it. Thinking back, I was not an Ashley fan and wasn't thrilled she was having her own season. I haven't liked any of the retread TBs ... Ali, Ben, EmilyM and now Sean ... ugh. But I always found Ashley to be pretty real and JP to be really pretty. I think they are a great couple and I hope they last forever and ever. Amen.

Watching the flashback of Ashley doing a peds teeth cleaning, I couldn't help but think these two were NOT on TB "for the right reason" which seems to be as a stepping stone to a famewhoring LA D-list celeb list these days. They really are real people with real jobs and -- stunned silence -- actually went on the show to FIND TRUE LOVE? Amazing! Gotta like that.

What's up with Chris H being the minister? Did he take an online course or something or bought a certificate-to-wed degree? That confused me. It also was pretty funny given his current marital state, that he would be involved in creating wedded bliss anywhere.

And what was up with the giant veil stuck on the back of Ashley's head? Is that some new style or something? I originally thought it was falling off and kept waiting for it to get yanked off somehow. Otherwise, she did look great in that dress.

I also didn't understand Chris H's "opposites attract" and his repeating that JP was "serious, really serious." That was never shown on TB, that side of him. I always thought he and Ashley got along well and he certainly never acted like a stick, he was always at ease and well-spoken.

Speaking of sticks, Roberto was looking muy caliento and I hereby recant my previous diss of him as TB candidate. I'd rather see him than Sean, for sure. He was looking GOOD.

Jillian was looking good, too. So much so that I didn't recognize her. I suspected some PS so thanks to the poster upthread who confirmed that. Her date was a hottie mc hottie so good on her.

Molly didn't look like herself either, she actually looked pretty. So maybe there's some PS in her recent past?

I'm wondering if Ashley's sister's ranking on JP during that season wasn't a producer prank to create some stir in a pre-skinny-dipping, rather dull season. But, as a fan of tats, I have to say hers were SO DISTRACTING, me no likee them at all. She really is a Mr. Hyde to Ashley's Dr. Jekyll. Now those two are some opposites!

I didn't see this addressed in this thread, but given that this is not the first Bachelor driven wedding, it may've been answered before.

I like Chris Harrison and all, but I am wondering under what authority he was allowed to perform this marriage? Not being critical, I know you can mail-order yourself a certificate that grants you certain privileges in this case, but is that what he did, or is he some sort of ordained something-or-other from a previous career?

He did a fine job (I only got to see the wedding last night).

He became ordained to perform a marriage for a couple of the show's producers last year, I think. I'm assuming he just did a mail-order thing.

Chris did officiate at Cassie Lambert and Peter Scalettar's wedding last year. In terms of the requirements, it depends on the state. My brother didn't have to do anything in Colorado when he performed the marriage of his wife's cousin.

That is because Colorado does not even require witnesses. In Colorado, all you have to do is get a license, both parties sign it, and then mail it in and you are married. No one has to officiate, so therefore the person "officiating" does not have to have any special qualifications, and no one needs to witness the signatures.
