From zap2it.com:

The final four teams travel to Spain and visit professional tennis player Rafael Nadal's practice courts; a team has a bloody encounter with a detour.

Why, why, why. I knew it was coming and yet I still hoped against hope, against hope. Those screeching, screaming, snarling, little shits have basically "twinnied" their way all the way up my worst racers ever list to nearly the top.

I really can't pick which is worst, but the one who kept calling the other sister "you idiot" just might be, then again her sister hasn't yet slapped the heck out of her so it's a toss up for me. The way they ran this entire leg was, imho, loathsome and just showcased what annoying little brats they are and they seem to be proud of that fact.

Come on Chippies, you're the only team I actually can still root for. I just love how they run the race and face adversity, they really are great friends.

I was completely distracted during tonight's episode by Phil's announcement at the beginning (in Canada) that The Amazing Race is finally getting a Canadian version!!!!!

I was relieved at the end that it was a non-elimination leg - I have liked the Twins since the beginning and I would have been pretty frustrated if they had lost out to a team that has barely squeaked through the last several legs, a team that had discussed giving up last leg to allow another team to stay in it.

A top three of Trey/Lexi, Ja(y)mes and the Twins would be ideal for me - I'd be happy with any of them winning. That's a situation that rarely happens for me - too often I don't like any of the top three teams!

The twins made a lot of references to the fact that the Beekmans are gay this episode and it made me super uncomfortable. I really hope they don't win, I don't even want them to make Final Three. Then add in the fact that they didn't bother to learn stick shift they have no business being in this race.

The Beekmans ran a good leg, but Josh was killing me with his sitting down during the tennis. Although, I give him a little pass because Brent should have stepped up and done the challenge since he knew that Josh had recently hurt his ankle.

Still love my Chippendales. Trey/Lexie ran a good leg but I still don't like them.

"He sounds like Monica Seles out there." LOL. Today's Monica's birthday. Wish Lexi did the RB since she's a ringer for Kim Clijsters.

I don't understand how the twins had such a difficult time screwing in bolts.

I hope the neighborhood kids weren't home, because they darn sure would have heard the blue streak I let loose when Phil announced it was a non-elim leg. WTF??? If the bitchy Twins win now after surviving being bettered by Dead Team Limping, they will jump to the top of my list of Worst Winners Ever.

Is Lexi's last name Skupin? What with the finger hissy fit and the end of next week's preview, I couldn't stop laughing.

I would be equally happy with a Twinnies or Chippendales win next week. The Twinnies self-deprecating attitudes consistently crack me up, never more so than tonight.

I know Josh was clearly in pain during the tennis and I felt bad for laughing but...it was kind of a comedic montage, no? When Brent said, "He sounds like Monica Seles out there," I laughed. A lot.

Also, after they saw the Beekman Boys leave the windmill task, did either Nadiya or Natalie say something like, "We could have beat the gays here?" Or did they just say "guys"? I thought I heard the former and, if so, ughhhh.

Knew going in this would be a NEL--it's tradition--but it was an enjoyable leg nonetheless, because for the first time in a long time, there wasn't a team or several working from a huge time deficit. Still in it or not, I liked seeing the twins come in last, because it suggests more possibilities for what will happen going forward.

Enjoyed Jaymes and James joing about their past experience as "construction workers."

I feel bad about rolling my eyes so hard about Lexie's reaction to hurting her finger. It isn't fair of me to be so dismissive about it, but I definitely scoffed.

I must admit that the NEL caught me by surprise: double-leg finale, then.

That was the bunchiest of bunches in Barcelona, but a nice call on putting teams on the ferry, and having them start in Mallorca on level footing made for a good, well-planned leg, pretty deservedly won by Trey and Lexi. I'm not quite sure what the Beekmans were thinking about when assigning Josh the tennis Road Block, but they rocked the Detour while Twinnies! ran their leg like they drove their Focus.

And the preview confirmed most people's suspicions about the greeters.

I mean, that was one of the most predictable non-eliminations ever. At no point did I think anything else would happen.

And holy crap, what happened to Lexi in next week's preview looked painful. Like, concussion-y. Ow.

So sad that this was a non-elimination leg, but am OK with the results. Twinnies gained a little respect by blaming themselves for coming in last in this leg ... didn't know stick shift, got lost, couldn't do the bolts, etc.

I'm really not getting why the three teams (chippies, trey/lexie, twinnies) are sticking together like glue. There's far too much collusion for me.

Me too, until I went to CTV and found that The Amazing Race Canada would be a race just around Canada. I call it now, it will be just a fraction of the excitement TAR is. Just like Canadian Idol and So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

Pretty good episode!!

Glad the teams finally had to drive themselves this season, and looks like they will have to again for the first leg of the finale last week. Glad the twinnies got put behind due to their lack of stick shift prowess. They even knew they would need to do this on the race and still came unprepared.

Overall, I thought tonight's episode was pretty hilarious (not "Moscow professor" hilarious, but really funnny nonetheless). The Beekmans are really growing on me, they just have this nice relationship with each other. I also finally know their individual names. I thought it was hilarious when Brent was making a dumb joke about Josh needing to take big deep breaths like a "LaMozze" class (pardon my butchering of that word), and Josh is just like "What was that...". And Josh attempting the tennis RB was also quite humorous. I think this is my runner-up team after the Chippendales.

The twins I think are either a love 'em or hate 'em team. I know I'm contradicting myself here, but I'm just kinda "eh." Not sure I like some of the snide comments they make ("they're super preprared...THEY'RE GAY!"), But I do kinda enjoy their bickering when its just with each other. Just leave the other teams out of it please.

Surprised more teams didn't attempt the bull task (though the Chips clearly wanted to until stumbling on the windmills). If I had a choice of dressing up as a bull or doing manual labor with tools and such, it'd be a no-brainer to do the bulls (I have zero carpentry/maintenance/mechanical ability whatsoever.

Curious to see who everyone's rooting for at Houndstooth next week, Let's go Chippendales!

Overall, I hope its a solid finale, as this has been my favorite season in a while (since at least 17). Eager to see the finale!

Did the Twins ever use their speed pass? I remember they talked about it during the swimming comp in Germany, but I don't think they used it. I'm guessing if they didn't that it was too late to use it tonight?

I thought having the Beekman with the bad ankle do the tennis comp was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I was waiting for one of them to say, "Josh was on the Tennis Team in college" or something. But no, there seemed to be no reason to send send him limping out on the court.

God help me, I'm forgiving the twinnies more and more each week. They accepted their possible elimination with grace and their usual enthusiasm. And one of them made a Happy Gilmore reference, to boot.

I completely agree, it was once again them picking the most, imo, derogatory way, unnecessary way, to describe a different team.

It's as if they enjoy finding a way to be outsiders by picking at something they either don't like or think is "funny" about another team because they're, shockingly, different from them in a way.

Jaymes and James need to be shirtless in pools of water more, as in 98.7% of the time, imo. Those opening scenes were heavenly, and I fully admit that part of the reason I want them to win is so that I can shout "Chip Chip Hooray!" like the TAR dork I am.

pretty deservedly won by Trey and Lexi.

Aw, man. I missed the last 10 minutes due to DVR issues and thought for sure the Chippendales had it.

I am also mad to hear it was non-elimination. I want the screeching Twins off my screen (coming from someone who just did a marathon viewing of Flo whining, I think they are worse- because she was at a breaking point when she got really bad, this seems to be their normal behavior.)

I really loved the teams hanging out in Barcelona. Nice to know "eat, sleep, mingle" still happens even if the producers try to prevent it.

Great episode, but it just all seemed easy, when they read 'go to the pit stop' I was baffled the leg was already finished.

Fun ep, leisurely, not especially exciting, do you suppose they all knew this was the NEL before the finals?

And both team members should really come in with standard driving skills. TAR 101.

Surprised to see Lexi so dramatic over cutting herself.

Barcelona and Mallorca are quite beautiful. What was up with the headless greeter?

I loved that 3/4 of the teams spent the day at the beach, relaxing and hanging out together. I'm sure there was time for the Beekmans to beach it as well since the ferry didn't leave until 11pm. Too bad they didn't - Brent needs some more swimming practice.

What was up with the headless greeter? They weren't in Sleepy Hollow.

The scenery was spectacular. They had such a beautiful day to film. Tasks have gotten to simple.

Loved the Chippies at the beach. Their construction worker comments were hysterical. They seem to be so enjoying themselves.

Hate, hate, hate the twins still. I heard one say "gay" too.

Beekmans are whiners.

Frantic episode. I was hoping the producers would keep the Twinees in the game, as opposed to having a double-length leg like in TAR8. I know they can be hard to take for some, but they're fun and energetic. Also, the Beekmans are basically Andrew & Dan will better attitudes and a gimpy ankle.

Loved the celebration over Abbie & Ryan's elimination. While I would welcome the return of Eat/Sleep/Mingle, seeing the top three teams cheer upon seeing Josh & Brent was awesome. And they got to spend time on the beach. I think it's been at least three seasons since we teams chill during a leg. The beach stuff made me yearn for Kris in a swimsuit, but hey . . . I take what I can get.

Pretty good leg. Only thing saving the Beekmans from starting a leg in last yet again was the Twinees' lack of stick skills. Crappy way to go out, but it does serve 'em right. Josh had to take a breather at the Roadblock for a while, and the Twinee performing the Roadblock couldn't take advantage. Seriously, losing to the Beekmans in a leg can't feel good. BTW, if they do end up winning, and the world doesn't collapse, feel free to ignore the previous sentence.

Can't believe only one team took the Bull Detour. It looked like fun . . . except when Trey & Lexi crashed into the finish. Actually, no, that was funny. Anybody else think "picodor" is Spanish for "Ferdinand-stabber," or is that just me? Also, can't believe nobody got repeatedly smacked with tennis balls.

Next week should be rockin'. Go Twinees!!

I had already lost respect for the twins during the money thing, but tonight .... someone send those girls home. I found nothing funny or charming in their comments about the Beekmans.

"They have a map out here, of course they do, they are gay."

"The gay guys are leaving"

I could go on, but you clearly see their bigotry. Why not just say "The Beekmans are leaving" as everyone else has done. You hear no one else constantly referring to those guys in that manner.

I hope the Beekmans wipe them off my screen next week as they reach the mat ahead of them.

At the beginning of the episode, I wanted the Beekmans to be eliminated. I just didn't feel they deserved to be in the final 3. But then the Twinnies spent the whole episode convincing me I'd much rather see them go home. I wish it could've been an elimination leg.

Why the heck would the Beekmans test Josh's ankle on the tennis court. He still might have been better than the twin hitting all the moonballs.

For some reason, I laughed when Lexi was crying about her finger going into the commercial break. Maybe it was just nervous laughter. That must hurt pretty bad.

Can we get some teams that know how to pronounce Mallorca? I still surprises me that TAR never seems to have any teams that are into geography enough to know this stuff.

The greeter was creepy. I wish she (at least it sounded like a woman) would have revealed herself at the end.

I'm thankful for teams accidentally splitting off and the car troubles. If they had kept in a massive alliance caravan, it would have been less compelling.
