Currently airing on PBS.

Narrated by Tony Bourdain. Starring Chef David Chang.

For some reason, they showed four of the half-hour shows in a block last night.

DOH! I'd been looking forward to this for over a week and then I forgot to set the DVR!

Meanwhile, check out this promo if, like me, you missed the first four episodes: http://www.youtube.c...d&v=cek6rK5F4EA

Sadly, or happily, this show is not a regular PBS offering. It's syndicated. YMMV. My PBS affiliate is not carrying it.

It's worth hunting for. Informative and entertaining, although now I have an irresistable craving for ramen.

Cooked or right out of the box? LOL

I must admit I'm tempted to try his blue crab recipe.

Thanks! I caught up with the Noodles and Memory episodes. The first few track closely with the Lucky Peach magazine, which I'm also subscribed to cause I'm a big fanboy for Momofuku & Chang. And the Rotten episode was right up my alley too because I love fermented and aged foods.

I've found this show, and love it.

I'm getting used to Chang as the host, but Bourdain's narration and commentary ...that's "interesting." It's a combo thet's different alright.

I've only seen one episode so far...so I guess I still have to figure out am I watching for Chang, the food, and culture/locales....or Tony's commentary.
Two great tastes that go good together??

I'd grown tired of Tony on HIS OWN shows, so this IS a way to get my Tony fix in small doses.
