That was glorious on so many levels. Thank you Penner, for winning that challenge. And I kind of love that he threw away his vote for chaos.
Skupin, you're an idiot, read the writing on the wall.
Suck it, Jeff Kent, you dick. As you thoroughly revealed in your exit statement.

Speaking of which - BOOM! Go, Johnny Blue-Eyes! Talk about a must-win challenge, and he did it!
What the hell is Lisa smoking, revealing so much at TC? Abi revealing her idol, too, was just dumb. And Carter, telling Jeff, "I thought they were sending YOU home?" God, that kid is stupid!
What a wild TC, for sure. And Abi burns her bridges next epi? Quelle surprise.

I get why Skupin voted for Jeff and not Pete because of his alliance with Lisa but I'm actually confused why Penner voted for Abi. Unless he knew it'd be a tie if he did so or he just wanted to get back at Jeff (but then why not just vote for Jeff to begin with) I'm not really sure.

A bitter Jeff Kent is an entertaining Jeff Kent; he's the Karl Rove of Survivor.

Malcolm is growing a sleazestache, I don't like it. He is still oh-so-pretty though. As is Johnny Blue Eyes. The necklace suits him.
I suppose I should just be happy Jonathan and Skupin are still safe. I was getting worried for Malcolm.
Very entertaining ep, I have to say.

But Why is Skupin screwing things up voting for Jeff, just like his vote last week.

And I FINALLY realized who it is Penner sounds exactly like. Don't look at him when he's talking and you'll swear it's Alan Alda.

Classy exit speech, Jeff. [/sarcasm]

Who voted for Abi? (I know Lisa, Skupin, Pete, Abi and Artis voted for Jeff.)
Penner

Did you see that look Abbi gave RC? Yowsa!
Lol at the mouth breather (I don't even remember his name) being the deciding vote. They say stupid people are the hardest to control.
I knew it was going to be Jeff because they showed Lisa as the player of the week

The scrambling on the beach pre-TC was fantastic. I don't remember the last season where 3 names were bounced around like that and we actually got to see it. Nice work on Malcolm's part reading the room and keeping that idol in his pocket. Penner's glee throughout that Tribal mirrored my own.

Pete and Abi Maria are awful players. Simply awful. Malcolm freaking out so much meant that of course he was telling the truth? Really, Pete? And Abi Maria is playing like a five year old. I honestly expected her to say "I'm going to take my immunity idol and go home!" at some point. As much as I love Lisa, I really hope her plan to get to the end with them as goats doesn't happen. I don't want them as goats, I want them as bitter jury members. The sooner the better.
Artis and Carter continue to be completely invisible.
Finally, I loved Penner laughing his butt off at the TC, knowing he was safe, and he was surrounded by 9 people desperately scrambling because he was safe. I'll be interested in seeing his reasoning for the throwaway Abi vote. I don't blame him for realizing Skupin would stick with Lisa, and cutting Jeff Kent loose, but now what is his plan?
I don't think Lisa was insane at all, except for thinking that Pete knew how to play this game. She's absolutely right - it's good gameplay to blindside someone with an idol, especially someone likable and good at challenges. She thought she had her core 5, with him gone it would be 5 on 4. Unfortunately for her, Pete sucks.I'm just sorry that his insane need to get rid of a veteran inspired Lisa to be equally insane and try to shiv Malcolm.

I know Jeff Kent probably puts people off. I know he's made serious bank, and he's a borderline Hall of Fame candidate. I know he's right wing . . . but it was nice to see him smiling after he got smoked. I do feel bad for him . . . he's probably cold from all the years in the shadow of Barry Bonds. That's not figurative . . . I mean in the shadow of that huge, steroid-enlarged noggin of his.
Meanwhile, Lisa is trying to be a mastermind, and she's not good at it. Happily, she's still in the game despite not figuring out that people might compare notes. Given that she's religious (something that came up in her profile), I have to say that she should be commended for not shoving her values in other people's faces. Now that the Big Four is now a Big Three, she's holding up her end, entertainment-wise. And she's almost fifty, which makes her worth rooting for, since Probst hates older women.
And bravo to J-Penn for winning immunity. Got a kick out of him diving towards the finish line to advance, and his celebration after winning. I know some think he's annoying, but I think he's cool. In fact, I don't think there's any one out-and-out villain this season, no matter what the "good guys" say. I get Abi, but Pete and Artis? I probably can't tell Pete from Carter most of the time. Artis will probably go down as "The Black Guy That Wasn't OtherRussell." Even with Lisa playing Let's Make A Deal, she's not the bad guy.
Still rooting for Denise. I'm convinced she's the female version of Tom Westman. And if she wins, Probst will have a conniption fit. How's that not worth rooting for?

I assume Penner knew how Skupin would vote, which is why he voted for Abi but still he should have forced the tie, maybe Skupin would change his mind.
Ultimately I think Skupin wants to stay tight with Lisa, so if she wasn't ready to burn the bridge then he couldn't either.

There are so many mouth breathers that it's driving me bonkers. But I think you mean Carter. He is distinguished as being the blonde mouth breather.
Also, as soon as I saw that the final three for immunity had to solve a puzzle, I knew it was Penner's. He is a freaking savant at those. One of the many reasons I love him.

I'm just sorry that his insane need to get rid of a veteran inspired Lisa to be equally insane and try to shiv Malcolm. She's channeling Dragonslayer and it is gonna backfire.
The funny thing is that Lisa was completely right that blindsiding Malcolm now would be the best thing for her alliance. Too bad gamemaster Pete was too stupid to see that Malcolm had the idol. How could he possibly believe that Malcolm freaking out when confronted meant he didn't have anything to hide?

I think Skupin is suffering from Pre-season eight syndrome. I think as much as he's all "Oh yeah, I watch the game, blah blah blah," You can really just see the wheels in his head turning "Kucha was loyal. Tangdang will be loyal. I'm going to be safe until everyone gets out and then I'll scramble."
Which is going to hurt him. Wake up, Skups.
Jeff. I don't get why he's so upset, he did it to himself. And this is why I am hoping it's a final two and it's Skupin vs. Jonathon and then he'd have to vote a returning player. And then I'll laugh and laugh and laugh some more. But I mean, he did this to himself. Had he kept RC, and had Skupin, Jonathon, and the rest lined up he would have been safe. But he didn't and he got hooped. And I missed the last bit of his speech but he sounded like a real swell guy.
I will never understand the Jonathon hate. I really don't. When he spoke today about if it couldn't be him, he'd want it to be the people he was with + Skupin back at camp, I was instantly flashed back to Cook Islands and he was talking to Yul. Everyone just... hates him. For playing the game.
Lisa: you are nuts. I don't know if its good nuts or pyscho nuts. She tells Skupin (Good). and then she tells Pete. (What?!) And then blows her cookies at Tribal (Double WHHUU?) Why? Why would you do that?
And for the life of me I dont know who won, Jonathon or Lisa? What was plan B? What was the 6? (But I love being kind of confused).
