Last night, I saw a couple of dances on Strictly Come Dancing that would have very well fit a couple of our Storybrooke residents (a Red Riding Hood Paso Doble and an Evil Queen Tango), and it got me to thinking about what songs they might have on their magic Ipods now that the curse has been lifted.

Here are some tunes that I thought the Storybrooke gang would probably enjoy:

Red: "Hungry Like the Wolf"

Regina/Cora: "Killer Queen"

Dr. Whale: "I'm Too Sexy"

What tunes would YOU recommend for your favorite Storybrooke/Enchanted Forest residents?

Belle: "Beautiful Disaster" and "Magic Man"

Rumple: I see him as a NIN fan. I think he listens to "Closer" obsessively as well as the Johnny Cash version of "Hurt"

Henry: "Mama, I'm Coming Home."

Regina: "It's a Heartache"

Graham: "Don't Go Breaking My Heart"

Regina (in memory of Daniel): "Heart of Glass"

Cora: "We Didn't Start the Fire"

I'm trying to think of some that would work for Snow, Charming, and Emma -- and I'm drawing blanks!

How about:
Snow/Charming/Emma/Henry: "Reunited" (for a whopping 10 minutes).

I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner for them:

Snow/Charming/Emma/Henry: "We Are Family"

Really, it was so obvious! *facepalm*

Oh, and because it just has to be mentioned:

Blue Fairy: "When You Wish upon a Star"

And while I'm at it:

Aurora: "Dream a Little Dream of Me"

Captain Hook: "Baby, Don't Get Hooked on Me"

I'll show myself out now.

Actually, for Captain Hook, I think it would be "Crocodile Rock." Come to think of it, that works for Rumpel, too.

Also for Captain Hook: "Hooked on a Feeling"

Snow/Charming: "It's in His Kiss (the Shoop Shoop Song)"

Blue Fairy: "Blue Tango," "Blue Moon," and even though it's a month early, "Blue Christmas"

And a couple more for Rumpel: "Goldfinger" and "Goldeneye"

Dr. Whale/Victor Frankenstein: If I Never Knew you ( I don't know if he's thinking of Mary Margareth/Snow or someone else while he listen it though).

Ruby/Red: she has to have Howl in her ipod somewhere.

And I don't know why but I'm sure August/Pinocchio had Uptown Girl the day he met Emma.

I think it'd be funny if the curse somehow pre-loaded Vertical Horizon's "Welcome to the Bottom" onto everyone but Regina's iPod.

Also for Ruby/Red: "She Wolf" (She is so going to hate me for that one!)

Cora: "That Old Black Magic" "Witchcraft"

Emma: "Jailhouse Rock"

August/Pinocchio (for Emma): "I'll Be Watching You"

I'm thinking Queen of Hearts would be more fitting, especially for Grace & Jefferson they waited far too long to be together.

Oh, the corollary to that would have to be that Regina got stuck with Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On."

Here are some others that I thought of in the middle of the night, believe it or not:

Emma (she'll play this one the next time she encounters Neal): "I Will Survive"

Red: "Moondance," "Moon River," "Moonlight Sonata" (I'll bet she enjoys a bit of classical music every now and then!)

August: "Traveling Man"

As for this:

I'm thinking Queen of Hearts would be more fitting, especially for Grace & Jefferson they waited far too long to be together.

I could see either Cora or Regina rocking to that on their Ipods.

I reckon Regina has Coming Around Again because it reminds her of Henry.

Henry must have Go the Distance for either or both of his mothers.

Jefferson totally had Someday out of The Blue in his ipod when he finally reunited with Grace.

And it seems kinda obvious, but I'm guessing Breathe of Life was the last song Daniel ever heard in his ipod.

Zombie!Daniel also probably played "Please Release Me" repeatedly, in the hopes that Regina would finally take the hint.

Regina, on the other hand, would have "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "There Are Worse Things I Could Do" on her Ipod in response.

Here's another one for Belle, by the way: George Michael's "Kissing a Fool"

Oh, and for Jefferson? "Top Hat," naturally.

As well as I'm Still here, to help her get through what needed to be done.

....Regina probably had The Change in her ipod when she chose Henry over Daniel.

On a lighter note:

- Belle should have My Beloved Monster and Me in her ipod ever since she moved in with Mr. Gold.

- Jefferson sure must keep The Reason to listen with Grace whenever he feels guilty.

- Grace makes him listen God Only knows what I'd be Without You from her own ipod so he would feel less guilty.

- I can sure picture Sidney Glass listening Secrets in his ipod right about now.

- Maleficent is flying at the rhythm of Burning Love in her dragon-sized ipod.

- And King George listens Viva la Vida in his own ipod.

This song definitely had to be in Regina's ipod since the day she adopted Henry (Phil Collin's You'll be in my heart)!

And for Red, "Lady in Red," of course.

Also, some more for Aurora: "Dream Weaver," "Mr. Sandman"

For Jefferson: "Mexican Hat Dance"

Dr. Whale: "To All the Girls I've Loved Before"

Belle: "Stand By Your Man"

Captain Hook's anthem on his way to Storybrook (that's one mean ipod!)

"Burn It to the Ground"? I could see Cora downloading that to her iPod, too, along with "Disco Inferno" (burn, baby, burn!)

Also for Snow/Charming: "Love Will Keep Us Together" - Captain & Tenille

And for Rumpel, since he actually managed to do it: "Making Love out of Nothing at All" - Air Supply

We need to come up with something for Mulan; I think she's been feeling a little left out.

Then straight from Mulan's ipod after Phillip's death: Ben Cocks - So Cold.

Hmm -- That makes me wonder whether she'd also enjoy "Soldier of Love" (or at least admit to having it on her iPod!).

Here's one for Aurora, while I'm at it: "Any Dream Will Do"

And I also thought of this one for Graham: "The Rhythm of My Heart" - Rod Stewart

And for Belle: "As Long as He Needs Me" and "I Don't Know How to Love Him."

Show tunes are a gold mine of possibilities, I tell you!

For Aurora's ipod, I'm thinking A Thousand Years, especially the "I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more" part.

(I used to be so annoyed at her until I remembered she lost Phillip too).

Another perfect one for Aurora is "Beautiful Dreamer"

For Regina, since they used to be her go-to magical weapon for dealing with people: "Great Balls of Fire."

Now I'm thinking that Charming would have "Fire" by the Pointer Sisters on his Ipod. (Or perhaps the Springsteen version?)
