2.4: I Am Anne Frank: Part 1 (November 7, 2012)
A new patient claiming to be Anne Frank exposes Arden's past. Kit learns why Grace was admitted to Briarcliff.
2.5: I Am Anne Frank: Part 2 (November 14, 2012)
Sister Jude employs a renowned Nazi Hunter to gather evidence against Arden. Kit makes a surprising confession. Bloody Face is unmasked.
2.6: The Origins of Monstrosity (November 21, 2012)
An enigmatic little girl is abandoned at the asylum. The Monsignor makes a Faustian deal with Dr. Arden. The genesis of Bloody Face is disclosed.
Considering Dr. Caligari's bizarre rant about everyone who's after him and whether Kit's a spy, I totally called the Nazi thing. :)

It's nice that the Bloody Face mystery will be solved this early. It's fairly interesting that, despite going through the exact same thing with Rubber Man last season, I actually have no clue as to who it's going to be. I guess ZQ seems like the fairly obvious choice, and they went with the "obvious" one last season, so.. maybe?

Bloody Face almost seems like his shadow. Also, notice how Shelley's legs aren't visible from below the knee (like they were amputated). Maybe this photo means nothing, but I'm willing to bet...

As for 'taking the fifth' on whether Lana has a scene with Frances Conroy, I take that as a yes.

I know what you're saying, but if you look at the picture, they all have gray blankets at the end of the bed, which is creating the illusion of the shadow.
I think the original poster meant Bloodyface is the shadow behind the door...not the shadows falling behind Dr. Thredson. Looking at that photo, Bloodyface seems to be almost the alter ego/shadow of Dr. Thredson, just looking to claw his way out...or in. That said, I think it's becoming too obvious Dr. Thredson might be Bloodyface, at least to me. I really hope it's not.

I wanted to say he wasn't because it seemed too obvious, then thinking back to last season, I thought Tate was too obvious for rubber man and yet.....

I can see her character not getting put down and completing the transformation into a monster and being released into the wild next week. Only to show back up towards the end of the season to lead the charge into the monsters into the asylum.
Also not Anne Frank probably dies and Arden is forced to go on the run, leaving the asylum but still being on the show/being worse off since his secret is revealed.

Yeah I see no other reason why he'd tell Kit to admit he committed the murders. If he feels Bloody Face is still out there, and he might have proof in Wnedy's house, he could alert the authorities.

I agree, that's true. That's kind of why I'm hoping Ryan Murphy didn't go that route again this time, but I guess we will see!
ETA: Regarding the three leaving...I don't know if Lana is one. If she is, I wonder if it ties in with the preview for the next ep wherein (I assume) they find her girlfriend's body. I thought that's what the horrified look on the kids and teacher's face--plus the scream-- was about, anyway.

I'm betting Lana leaves in a different way, in that she does get out of Braircliff, but Threds does something to her. I wonder if at any point she and Kit will team up to fight against Threds?

Where is Pepper anyway? No one seems to care how the prisoners escaped.

I'd really like to know who created this painting, and whether it really is a spoiler.

The drama from last week's American Horror Story left me feeling like I needed to be committed. Anything you can tell us? I'm especially curious about Grace.
Kit starts out the episode with a piece of good news, a first for him in Briarcliff. But as usual, his main concern is Grace and Sister Jude's plans to sterilize her. But Grace has other things to worry about, mainly her introduction to Kit's wife. Yes, the same wife that died in the first episode. Obviously there is a twist involved with their meeting, but let's just say Grace and Kit will be closer than ever by the end of the episode.

I actually asked in the Spec thread if anyone thought she was still alive. Watch her be Bloody Face. heh.
I'm still trying to figure out what happened with her when the aliens came because Kit told her to stay in the house and we never heard a response from her. It was before the crazy lights started, so I don't think it was aliens. Although, we did get that shot of Alma screaming for help in an episode and that wasn't in the premiere, so maybe Kit is slowly recovering his memories? I don't know. I hope she didn't have anything to do with it if for no other reason than I thought she and Kit were damn adorable and it would give me a case of the sads if she set him up in some way.I wonder if Kit's wife actually had something to do with what happened to him. We never actually saw her get taken by the aliens or killed by Bloody Face.
I wonder what the twist is?

Regarding Kit's wife Alma...you never know! Bloodyface is to be unmasked this week and I find it a bit coincidental Alma is brought up, as well as the "twist" in how she meets Grace....and that Kit and Grace are closer than ever at the end. Hmmm....

And as far as the mural goes, there are a couple of babies in it, too. Not sure what's up with that.

My speculation- Thredson is Bloody Face, and Lana will find out this episode once he takes her home.
I'm not sure if Grace will turn out to be evil after all. Ryan Murphy keeps saying we will care for Kit, Grace, Lana and Judy. Did he say the same for Tate last year before revealing he was Rubber Man?
