Unfortunately, some do, I see it on a daily basis at my work. As for Ev, she is one of those girls who was willing to give the side-eye to her man's shenanigans for what she thought was going to be a great lifestyle. This is seen throughout many marriages where money, and sometimes fame, is involved.
I don't think that a well adjusted woman with self respect would even consider marrying a man like Chad.
Exactly. I think Ev was still not processing what Iyanla had said when Ev made that comment about her behavior on BBW. She was getting a bit defensive there. She still was not making the connection that she too is a hot head and uses physical violence upon others. She was lacking in credibility, which is why she was asked if she had put her hands on Chad.
When Iyanla told her that she was "being rewarded for being a thug among women," I damn near applauded. I think she got her to see that folks weren't really sympathetic, and some doubted the veracity of her story, due to her own behavior displayed on t.v. The same aggression she showed women was used against her, and, well... nobody likes it when it happens to them.
