I saw this on the CW. It was (as has been reviewed) Wipeout with a musical chairs element added. I liked the rock band element, that it moved fast, and that it doesn't take itself too seriously (and seems to know what it is), but I thought it was a little too random--I'd like to see going further on the obstacle course be worth more, or minimum/maximum cash amounts for getting there first, second, etc., so there's more incentive to win, and not just "not lose."
It's got potential, but it's hard to be a less serious version of a show (Wipeout) that already knows it's fluffy fun.
Also, the winner getting $34,000 seemed kind of small--I know it's the WB, but it looked like they spent all their money on props instead of prizes. (It's life-improving money, but I'm not sure it'd be worth the injury the winner got.)
