The team must get creative to gather the materials for the operation.

Hank being uncomfortable with Walt "getting emotional" over Skyler not loving him and leaving the room was well thought out by Walt. When Hank realizes how he has been played by Walt there is going to be hell to pay.

So Walter Jr. is now Flynn?

Even though Walt is annoying, I still dislike Skyler more.

I don't trust Lydia and was worried she was going to get them arrested. I was sweating it for them. So who is the guy who stopped the train, have we seen him before? Is he Mike or Saul's guy?

Wow the exterminator guy is hardcore. I wondered why they wasted a scene on a spider.

Jesse didn't want to kill Lydia and now he is involved in a kid getting killed.

Oh my freaking God. Why didn't they just tell the kid they worked for the railroad?

This was a most intense episode. I thought it would be kind of overly technical heisty, but it worked.

I am surprised that Lydia did not, after all, plant that bug. It had seemed so obvious at the time.

Todd - NO! Why why why? How will they deal with this loose cannon now? We need a backstory on him.

The sight of the kid getting shot made me cry out. Not ANOTHER dead child!

And --why? Do they really think the kid saw enough to have any idea of what was going on -- and who would? In a million years I wouldn't be able to piece that together, even if I witnessed the whole thing, and I'm an adult. Apart from anything else, where before this they had a just about clean getaway with one kid who maybe had an idea he'd seen something a bit unusual, now they've got either a dead kid, or if they dispose of the body and the bike, a missing kid. People will go nuts if a child's body shows up with a bullet hole in it.

Critically beloved, my ass. Landry shoots children!

Daaaaaamn.

Also there was something kind of hot about Skylar saying she'd be whatever kind of partner he wanted.

Landry Clarke, your innocence is truly gone.

I love how open everything is with Walt and Skyler. It's chilling.

I weep for that poor kid. And Jesse.

Props to whoever correctly stated that Lydia didn't plant the bug.

Killing a kid is going to have repercussions. Who the hell is this guy?

Isn't it amazing, though, that among the three amigos, Jesse is the only one not caught up in comparing dick size long enough to come up with a brilliant idea? Jesse has come a long way.

ETA: And he hasn't had to become cartoon-character bad. In fact, as Walt's badness and stupidity increase, Jesse's conscience and intelligence seem to increase.

I need to start taking a Xanax before I watch this show. Still a fan of the show, but almost don't know if I can continue to watch. Shit is way dark. Another kid dying? I did not see that coming. The heist stuff was enough tension. Jeez, give the kid some money, tell him to keep quiet, make up something, whatever. Hank, figure it out before more innocent people die.

The ending ... completely shocking. Before that, though, it seemed that there was something up with Todd. Mike placed a lot of emphasis the other week on no one from the pest control crew saying anything to Walt and Jesse or asking any questions, but Todd has done both, and the way Walt laid out the train heist for him was reminiscent of how the supervillain explains his plan to the hero instead of just killing him. And there was also a very pregnant pause when Todd told Walt and Jesse that they had thought of everything, but maybe that was just dramatic irony for the fact that you can never, ever plan for everything, and when you are doing something as immoral as this, people will die. I thought for sure Todd was an agent, though, up until he shot the poor kid.

Wow, another awesome episode.

Walter..once again you throw Skyler under the bus, this time in front of Hank. "She doesn't love me anymore". Really Walt? I wonder why? And Walt, you left a mess of fingerprints in Hank's office planting those bugs.

Jesse..damn this kid is on a roll. Coming up with ideas everywhere, and this time robbing a train "like Jessie James!" Could we all be seeing a possible foreshadow of the future when Jesse takes over the business when Walt is on the run or dies of cancer?

Lydia..you save your ass with "Oceans of Stuff"...LMAO!

At first I was questioning why the kid on the dirt bike, and the spider in the glass. WTH? Not the kid!

Interesting to see the reference of Jessie James when robbing the train, since he was a murderer, train robber, a notorious outlaw and a leader of a gang. That is Walt all rolled up into one. And Jessie James was killed for what he did. Is that what will happen to Walt?

Todd is a bad-ass.

No half measures for him, that's for damn sure.

Speaking of half measures, Jesse's attempt to find a way around killing Lydia led him to develop a scheme that resulted in a child's death. Unlike Mike's half measure (refusing to kill the abuser), the kid's death wasn't foreseeable in quite the same way (although in a sense the death of an innocent person in the wrong place at the wrong time was), but still.

What the Fuck Todd!

That was my exact reaction. It's kind of jarring for me, since I remember Todd's actor from Friday Night Lights, where he played the goodhearted Landry.

I will say that Todd's actions in this episode tend to support my personal experience of all guys named Todd proving total assholes, though.

Jesse's conscience and intelligence seem to increase

He just about tore my heart out when he was screaming at Todd.

Jesus that was intense.

Loved the old west style train robbery with a 21st century twist

Great plan, horrible execution, no pun intended

I too thought Todd was an agent until he shot the kid

I think Walt has another favorite student. He was really getting into teacher mode when he was explaining replacing the methylamine with water, and all the numbers with the weights blah blah blah. And Todd was really stroking his ego - "You guys thought of everything!" So Todd shooting a kid showed good initiative in Walt's book, imo. Walt didn't even flinch.

Very tense as they were trying to wrap it up before the train pulled away.

For the person who asked - The guy driving the truck was the one who came with Huell to get Ted Benenke to sign the check to the IRS, and he also posed as the EPA (?) guy doing the inspection for Bogdan, the car wash owner, so he would sell to Skyler.

First off:
Dammmmmmmmmmmm

So who is the guy who stopped the train, have we seen him before? Is he Mike or Saul's guy?

Saul's guy, he was the fake EPA investigator last season.

Do they really think the kid saw enough to have any idea of what was going on -- and who would?

It's not like Jesse and Walt had the time to come up with something before Todd took matters into his own hands.
