I won't miss Andrea, but I will miss Kooan. I'm too old to wear his stuff, but 30 years ago, I would have. PR really wasn't the right place for someone like him--I can't see him doing evening wear, for example, with any success--because his point-of-view is fairly narrow. He was clearly unhappy, and I hated to see him that way. And at least he left with class and didn't flit off in the middle of the night.
I can't imagine any type of red carpet where this dress would be appropriate, although I did like the dress.
It wouldn't work for a formal red carpet event like the Emmys, but it would at some sort of lunch event, or something a little more casual, where they have a press area. I don't remember Tim or Kors saying the outfit had to be "red carpet" though--just something that would work for a busy woman and go from day to evening easily. And in that sense, I didn't think Sonjia's dress worked exactly. It would be fine for dinner out or a cocktail party or something, but as daywear, it was off the mark IMO--a bit too "dressy".
Christopher is driving me insane, but I thought he should have won the challenge this time. He needs to stop sticking his nose into other people's work, though. As awful as that thing Buffi made was, she was right to tell him to butt out. It's not his problem.
Fabio has no actual point of view, but I have to admit I do like seeing how he's going to dress himself every week, so I'm glad he survived again. Raul should probably not unpack.
When the guest judge started compimenting Dmitri's sewing skills and said she'd hire him for her sample room, that was a death knell for him. I think his stuff is beautiful and that he hasn't gotten the credit he should have so far, but when they're complimenting your construction skills and not your vision, that's not a good thing.
Kill me now, but I liked Gunnar's skirt. The top was dreadful, but I liked the skirt a lot. I also don't understand how Alicia managed to avoid the bottom three again, since those long shorts and button down shirt in no way qualify as something that could be worn to a dressy evening event.
Nathan was barely on screen again. Boo. I really would like to see and hear more from him than we're getting. And all Ven seems to do is complain about how other people complain too much. He should shut it.
