Sigh. I hope to heck that's the last of the Efrit. Stupid, stupid story line, but Arlene & Terry are still sweet. Glad to have something similar to S1 Lafayette back.

The fallout of the true blood shortage on Fangtasia/Pam & Tara might be interesting.

But who constitutes the monarchy now? the new Sheriff said something about the monarcy legalizing open feeding.

Hope they don't kill geek vamp.

Wow, they showed penis. Very progressive HBO. I think i have had it with this show. i used to like it when it was somewhat book based but there's nothing in this show that was ever in book except for the name of the characters. I don't even know what to think of this whole Lillith story line, seems a bit ridiculous. And honestly Eric, did you really trust Bill to go with you, seeing how he's been thus far? Eric was never this stupid.
And yep. Anna's pregnancy is really starting to show.

I know Emma being taken from Martha was supposed to be heart-wrenching, but I couldn't stop giggling. Russell got Steve a pet! Why do I ship Russell/Steve so hard? What's wrong with me?

My god, I really love Andy. Him talking about how his job was to protect everyone, whatever they are ... just a normal man trying to do right by the people. Who thought Andy Bellefleur would be the moral center of the show?

Please, please, let this be the end of the Ifrit storyline.

Don't die Hoyt!

Bill, you asshole! Can anyone bring him back to his senses? Maybe Jessica.

Alcide's dad was Agent Doggett on X-files! And a bunch of other roles I can't remember of the top of my head right now...

Oh Lafayette, don't ever change. I love the way you talk to the dead.

Vanilla Siren, I remember Alcide's daddy (Robert Patrick) mostly from Terminator 2 as the bad cyborg. He was AWESOME in that movie.

Poor Martha. Emma is still so sweet as Wolf Cub. Luna's gonna be so much more pissed than she currently is....

Nice try Eric but why are you showing ANY loyalty to Beehl? Huh? He's tried to get you killed HOW MANY TIMES?? But please, PLEASE don't let anything happen to Molly the Vampire Geek. She ROCKS.

I've had it up to **here** with Lilith, Salome and Nora. Seriously, ladies, either start a support group, a book club, or just meet the True Death already. For ALL our sakes.

Andy...I'm actually starting to LIKE you a wee bit.

But oh please...if this is going to end how I think it's gonna end...egads. This season, overall, is just so blah for me.

Sad that it took nine episodes to actually have a storyline go somewhere, but when they finally put it into drive, they really get going.

First off: full frontal penis. Many times. Hee. Yeah, that's about it for the Authority storyline for me. They're still boring me. Nice to see Tina Majorino again. Was wondering where she disappeared to when the others were all L tripping. Bill's confusion/brainwashing only annoys me.

Everybody called it -- Bud was the Dragon. Or was the obnoxious lady friend the actual Dragon? I don't know, who cares. I'm actually kind of sad that Bud was (half) behind the killings, in a way that Andy is sad. Bud was his mentor. He probably idolized him. He learned everything from him. Bud was always one of the good guys when he was a main character. And he turned out to be a murdering, hate-mongering asshole. It's disheartening. But I did like that they didn't drag out the Dragon mystery for too long.

Although, when Andy and Jason were watching the video and Andy recognized Bud's boots, I thought for a hilarious moment that Jason was going to exclaim: "The Dragon stole Bud Dearborne's boots!"

Patrick is finally gone from my TV screen (presumably)! First Arlene stabbed him in the neck, then Terry shot him? Can it be? Is it Christmas already?

Lafayette was hilarious when he was fake communicaing with Wardlow in Sookie's mirror, and then when he got all Oda Mae Brown with all the spirits trying to talk to him at once. He's a delight.

I'm not sure who was right in the Tru Blood-in-the-bar issue, Tara or Pam. They both had good points.

Good thing about nearing the end of the season is that all of these flailing storylines are finally beginning to intersect. We had Lafayette briefly mix wtih the stupid Ifrit plot last week and now he's dabbled into Sookie's mystery. And also this week we've got Martha and poor little Emma angled up with Russell and Steve. And to J.D.'s credit, despite being an all-around asshole and even though he was hopped up on V at the moment, at least he did try to stop Russell.

Is there anyone left in Bon Temps who hasn't seen Sam Merlotte's penis? He is always shifting to the rescue at the most random emergencies in the most random places, with scores of people around half the time. And by the way, why is Luna not dead yet? They surely must have gotten my letters by now.

Did I mention how awesome it is that Patrick is dead?

I know! Me too! I think Jason does have a good heart but man, is he a bonehead. I am loving Kenya and Kevin; Kevin's hilarious (I'm sorry...that VOICE) and Kenya is so smart she either can't believe she is working with such dunderheads or this whole thing is entertaining to her. The looks she threw Jason the Idiot was EXACTLY what I was thinking when I watched.

Overall, this was a good episode. It lasted the full hour and tied up some stories. Some things were predicted a while back, but I'm glad to see them resolved.

Loved LaFayette tonight. Seemed more like himself again. Shades of real-Tara showed up tonight as well.

Loving on Eric and Tina Majorino's character (what is her name?). So mad a pod-Bill for selling out Eric.

Glad the efrit and "Obama-mask hate group" stories are wrapped up. Curious about what is up with Alcide and his dad. And I hope Hoyt survives. Maybe Jess will have to use her blood to heal him or something like that.

So sick of Nora and Salome and all the Lilith worship. Still thoroughly despise Russell and wish he were gone from the show for good. Did laugh at Steve's excitement over getting a puppy, but I feel bad that it was Emma snatched from Martha. Ugh, can't stand Luna still too. Ooh, nekkid Sam!

Hmm, on the new Sheriff...not sure what to think of him. Although I do like the actor who plays him (Keram Meliki-Sanchez). Still miss Roman and hope that somehow he resurfaces...

What, only 3 episodes left? Seems like a shorter season, doesn't it usually last into the Fall? Does this mean it will be back sooner than next June for it's next season? Better be. However, Anna Paquin will be showing a lot more in those episodes. Hmmm...

I thought this was a great episode: two major plot lines "wrapped up" well ahead of the finale! I really do hope this is the end of the Patrick/Terry/Ifrit business. Please.

The vamp war is definitely looking more sinister. How evil is Russell? I find him amusing but I hated seeing that poor little pup turned over to Steve Newlin (for some reason this was more upsetting than if it had actually been the girl in human form. And why is it she's constantly in dog form, anyway?)

I'm not getting the fairy stuff. I've read the books so it makes sense from that background knowledge, but they seem pretty random here, especially showing up at the house like that at the end. They need to be incorporated better or just left out completely. I don't think they're adding much to the story this season and they were unnecessary to tonight's show. (And whatever happened with that fairy Andy hooked up with that time?!)

I think Emma is in wolf form because at that age the kids might not be able to control their transformations. Ugh I wanted to cry for Martha! I've never been a huge Luna fan, but I was CHEERING her on for punching the Dragon. "And THIS is for my daughter!!!!!!!!!"

I want Alcide to come back and save the pack!! J.D. Is a worthless piece of shit, and Alcide was right- why didn't more people follow him? Who wants to be addicted to V and bound to a vampire?

I dont get what was going on when Salome and Bill were hooking up. I'm thinking Salome's blood whats keeping the hold on Bill and Nora. When Roman was alive he gave everyone a drop. The trip from last week, Surely after all these years it would be gone by now. Why can Steve and Russell come and go and Eric can't?
Until this episode why not trust him? I'm so worried for Emma, what happens when she shifts wont she be damaged if she stays in wolf form too long. My DVR cut off before the next week previews, but now Sam and Luna have to take on Russell?! What a mess..

My thought with the blood explains maybe why He saw Lilith after biting Salome. I haven't seen the vamps feeding on each other during sex before. I have to re-watch...

Alcide broke my heart tonight... I want some happiness for him.

I thought it was precious that Russell gave Steve a pet! Poor Emma though, she'll be sharing space with the baby-eater vamp. Maybe Steve will protect her. I only felt slightly sorry for Martha. She shouldn't have been at the pack meeting with Emma anyway.

WTG Sam! Love seeing you naked and kicking ass! Altered-state Sookie is funny. "Did I dream you were a pig?" or something like that.

I hope Pam and Tara get out of Fangtasia okay. I'm sure if they need refuge, they'll go to Sookie's house. She has a vamp-safe place. And won't that be a happy reunion? Lafayette, Tara, Sookie, Pam and Faeries, OH MY!

Bill needs to die. Nobody betrays Eric Northman and lives to tell the tale! I hope Geeky Vamp lives. She's too cute to turn into goo.

Ugh... Bill is so getting on my nerves. He is so spineless and wishy washy. Can't believe Tara actually drank Tracy to death as Pam implied. If Sookie hadn't wasted her powers in her misguided attempt to be normal she would have been able to defend herself. I too am glad that some of these storylines got wrapped up cause they were sure dragging. I get that the Obamas are being labeled as a hate group and I agree with this in regards to other supes but certainly not with vampires. I think humans have every right to be highly mistrustful of vampires after all we are their food source. If I am not mistaken every single vampire on this show has killed/drank a human. Would a wildebeest trust a lion or want to coexist with one? I think not.

Look at what is going on now. Humans are being slaughtered.

I don't know which broke my heart more: Jessica flinching away from Jason or Bill breaking up with Eric. Why can't those crazy kids get along like Russell and Steve's puppy love?

Maybe Sam Trammell has a nudity clause written into his contract? The bloated cast caused a budget cut? Because seriously, man, put on some clothes!

Deborah Ann Woll is so, so beautiful, even without makeup.

I've never been a huge Luna fan, but I was CHEERING her on for punching the Dragon. "And THIS is for my daughter!!!!!!!!!"

I preferred Bianca punching out Joey Donner at prom, but yes, it's about the only time I've liked Luna.

I'm going to offer a dissenting opinion and say that this has been one of the strongest seasons overall, if not the strongest. While the Authority plotline has meandered a bit and could have been executed better, I like this year because it's gotten back to being vampire-centric. I don't really care much about other "supes", although some of the individual characters representing them are great. But, if I watch a show ostensibly about vampires, I expect it to be mostly about vampires. (You hear me Buffy the VAMPIRE Slayer? The VAMPIRE Diaries? And you too, Trueblood. It's implied in your premise. I didn't watch Charmed or The Secret Circle or Wolf Lake or the new Teen Wolf. Not interested.) Truth in advertising, TV people. That's all I'm saying.

But, as much I like the vampirecentricity (it could be a word- go with it), it feels like this should be the last season. Because the theme of the season has been the the breakdown of the fragile peace between humans and vampires (and other supes). And that's a natural endpoint. It feels climactic. So, presuming there's another season or seasons, where do they go from here? Humans and vamps become friends again? Unless this season is just the run-up to the war, and the war will last all of next season?

I suppose next year could just be about fallout from this year for Bon Temps. Maybe a joint human/vampire task force will investigate the region since it was ground zero in the conflict. Because BT sure has a lot of killings/ assaults to cover-up, just from this episode alone. Andy and Jason went all police brutality on the hate group member in lock-up. Andy killed Sheriff Dearborne when his only threat was to throw a shovel at Sam. Luna probably killed that Dragon bitch.

At least the evidence of Patrick's body is incinerated, although his family could come looking for him the same way Debbie's did. Still, I was shocked that Terry actually shot him. The Ifrit plotline was probably the dumbest overall in the series' entire run, but I thought the "do the right thing" lesson at the end was that the right thing was mercy-- what they should have shown the Iraqi woman-- and by sparing him, Terry would get her spirit to call off the monster. Nope, no morality tale here. Patrick got two in the skull, pregnant wife and all. Cold.

I agree with Sam the old Sheriff was, by far, the worse one.

And though I agree the werepup may be the cutest thing on this show since Molly, Russell had no right to give Emma to Newlin.

Meh, 3 episodes left? It feels like this season isn't even half way in. The story lines have been uninteresting.

Great episode. I might be wrong but I started to believing that Salome is Lillith the way Bill reaction drank Salome's blood and when he tasted his finger from her blood like he was so shocked.....and that's why Bill said, "I'm doing this for you Eric, This is what Lillith wants". Eric's planned about the escape was dumb move and stupid on his part. 1. They gonna know where he's at, 2. they might gonna kill Eric if he escaped so now he's in prison.

Trust me, Like I always said Bill is way too smart, Eric just dumb. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bill gonna save Eric in the future episode where Eric might have met his true death.

What did I tell you?...I knew it, it was Bud's girlfriend.

I just hate damn J.D. Lol @ Russell and Steve, both of them have good chemistry on the scene. Oh no...we all know that Luna gonna blame on Martha soon.....

Honestly, I'm very disappointed in Eric character since Season 4 to this season. I liked him Eric when he was in first season to 3rd season but now he's seems become a "b!tch", "soft", "whining", "dumb", getting outsmarted by everyone. In my opinion, I think the "Ghost Godric" just ruined Eric character the way I see.

Good to see Lafayette is back to his true-self like in Season 1.

It's a pity that the season is almost over and the stories are just now starting to converge. This was one of the better episodes that utilized all the characters.

For once, I was glad to see Luna. The Dragon seriously deserved that ass kicking and it was right that Luna was the one to deliver it.

Loving Steve and Russell together, although Russell was wrong for taking Emma. But hardly surprising.

Speaking of which, we finally heard Russell's real voice tonight. That was cool.

It seems like Salome is getting sick of Steve. Hope he doesn't meet the true death. Same with Molly. She is awesome.

Most likely because child actors are limited in how many hours they can be on set. It's easier to wrangle a puppy than a kid, in the film business sense. Plus, it's a way to keep the young child actor away from more intense scenes.
