America's Lost Treasures

Anyway, in Austin, that first episode. I'm really glad they chose the Texas Ranger's Colt revolver. I wanted it because of the ruby.
I just knew Curt's pick, the piece from the Japanese plane that was part of the attack on Pearl Harbor, would win in Milwaukee. The sheer size of those mosaics would be hard to house at the museum. I loved how the respective experts were salivating over the items. And those shaving cups were the cutest (except for the surgery one). What a way to show off your money at the barber shop.
I swear to God I screamed when the document expert ripped the map in the souvenir cane. Even though they showed it in the preview, it still startled me. Partner of Sleepyhead Case yelled, "Are you OK?" from downstairs. And he didn't even apologize? What the hell? Maybe he was too shocked. I don't know. I'd be mortified and apologizing profusely.
Curt is now 2 for 2. I hope Kinga steps it up.

How about the "facepalm" Curt did after seeing it happen?
Has anything like that happened on "Antiques Roadshow"?

The 34 star pre civil war flag was really cool. Kinga's "maybe" Thomas Edison's right man hand's lightbulb against it? No contest. And I loved how the fossil was even older than that old lady thought. And how it was a bone from her favorite dinosaur. Funny/cute how Curt asked for a kiss from the grandma.

The guy with the explosives plunger raised the "creep" factor to a level of ten. He and his girlfriend "used" it on each other? Wow. TMI.
The saxaphone might have been worth something if it belonged to a famous muscian. But just a sax? No way.
The shooting segment with Kinga? Waste of time. Seen it done before (and better) with Elyse Luray.
Well at least nothing got damaged this week.

I knew the Indian sticks couldn't be worth much if they're playing with them outside.
What is Kinga, one for eight?
