I haven't even seen this show yet and I'm already annoyed with it. All the commercials and morning shows keep playing is footage of her saying to a heckler "Is this because you're a homosexual?". Stay classy, Bristol. That and her talking about how she's so anti-Hollywood. Bitch, you moved to L.A. to film a reality show!

Please! Not like the heckler was classy. She just was wondering if Palin's anti-gay marriage stance was the reason that he was saying such things about her and her mother. A grown man heckling a young woman. Now, he is suing too. Despite the fact that he was the aggressor.

Tripp is cute as a button and I see this show as a more upscale Teen Mom with better scenery.

Yeah, but the mom is now a twenty-something millionaire with no personality. Her sister seems more interesting than she is.

Overall, I just want to laugh at her mother for criticizing reality show stars in her book--and now her fat ho daughter is one!

The only reason I can think of for watching this show will be so that I can understand Kathy Griffin's jokes about it on her next Bravo special.

It might also provide great material for The Soup.

The show hasn't aired even aired yet so I don't know the whole situation. I'm not condoning his heckling her but I am pretty damn tired of seeing that specific clip over and over. Is that the only thing dramatic that happens on the show because that's the only thing that's being shown so far in promos and on daytime tv. That and her crying about missing her family in Alaska.

Only so I can come here and read the snark.

Same here. I watch the Kardashians and Jersey Shore for similar reasons.

The only reason I might watch this crapfest is the trainwreck possibility. And to think, her mother almost became an old man's heartbeat away from the presidency. That is what truly scares me. It has been said that Bristol has had at least three pregnancies. Whatever happened to her DWTS baby? Only contestant to ever gain weight while on DWTS. And where is "Deadbeat Dad" Levi or trial-marriage Gino? Such a role model she is.

She says she faces "discrimination". I don't think she knows what that means at all. She's a rich, white, spoiled, protestant in a country that favors rich, white, protestants. There's basically a zero chance of her facing any actual discrimination. People not wanting to hire you or be around you because you make dumbass comments all day is not discrimination Bristol.

Some of the interviews have showed the part of the bar clip where she tells the "heckler," "That's a nice wife you have there." So I think she went in with her own preconceptions and wasn't heckled into making any of her statements.

Besides watching for the TWoP snark value--the best reason to watch anything!--I'll watch one episode just so I can laugh at how drastically Bristol's appearance changes, because the footage was from various shows that she's tried to pitch. Most of the footage I've seen so far came from her failed show with the Massey brothers, and that was shot at least a year ago.

[I wonder] how this singularly uninteresting young woman has managed to eke a semi-career out of being an unwed mother and related to a (depending on your POV) former politician/political pundit--uneducated/opportunist shill?

It seems obvious to me that strings were pulled, favors called in despite the fact that the vast majority of the people in this or any other country doesn't give a rat's ass about Bristol Palin. No, not talking conspiracy or any nonsense like that, just saying that poor Ms Discriminated Against has been handed chances no one else in her position have been given, from other TV shows to media spotlight to ways to make decent money few others could access.

Spokes person against teen pregnancy? Please. Spokes person for or against anything? Seriously? Accomplishments? What accomplishments; a high school diploma? So what? Raising a baby in a wealthy family? Bully for her.

This is a semi-illiterate and not terribly bright, intolerant and narrow minded though ambitious young woman who's simply riding a wave as long as it will carry her. Watch this? 'You couldn't pay me enough.

Would I were so discriminated against.

From what I understand, the heckler is suing Bristol because he did not sign a release to have their little altercation shown on her show.

From Wikipedia so take it for what it's worth;

Beginning in 2005, Bristol attended Juneau-Douglas High School and began dating Levi Johnston.[7][8] In 2008, she briefly lived in Anchorage with her aunt and uncle and attended West Anchorage High School. She returned to Wasilla, where she graduated from Wasilla High School in May 2009.

Sounds like she went to the relative's while she was pregnant or some such, but that's just my reading of the above.

I'm still underwhelmed. Do any of the older Palin kids have anything beyond a high school diploma? The level of ignorance and anti-intellectualism with this young woman is part of my problem, that and the cynicism of exploiting both her name and failure to use birth control being somehow being turned into a virtue.

Unfathomable and sad.

When she graduated, she was on the cover of People, posed in her cap and gown, holding Tripp. So she's been exploiting him for a while now. BTW, I did not buy that issue of People and I'd rather get hit with a baseball bat then watch her dumb show.

She is definitely her mother's daughter. In all the worst ways. I recorded Graham Norton's show last night and there was an extra long Lifetime ad pimping the Blue Lagoon movie and this show as well as some others. There is a talking head of her mocking the "attention" she gets and in the next sentence gushes about the better life she looks to give her son (all the while ignoring the fact that it is all the attention that is making this incredible "sacrifice" on her part possible). Then she talks about the paparazzi and how they are basically mistreating her and her son. Then cut to her and her friend with kid in tow deciding to sit outside at a cafe so they can urge the tyke on to making faces at the cameras. Cut back to Palin Lite crowing about how much better she is than the bottom feeders who are basically keeping her relevant.

I'm hoping someone at Lifetime realizes that in an election year that is rife with anti-woman legislation across the nation, having a girl who is basically famous for having an overwheening fool of a deluded mother and a gullible ovary and average uterus.

The "heckler" is also suing her because she's publicly blamed him for forcing her to move back to Alaska, even though she closed on her most recent house two months before the incident that was filmed for the show.

I've heard that people in Wasilla say that DWTS wanted Todd to be a contestant and then settled for Bristol. That would have made more sense, to me. I don't blame Bristol for taking what she can get, since she doesn't seem like a likely candidate for higher education. But I do blame her for whining and trying to portray herself as a victim instead of an extremely lucky beneficiary of the fruits of other people's labor. I'll still watch at least the first episode because I'm fascinated by the wreck she's made of her face.

I assume that Lifetime needs to get some use out of the various shows they've tried to assemble for her (the "working for a charity" one with the Massey brothers, the "trial marriage" one with her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend Gino, and the latest one with Willow). Maybe they're counting on her mother's fans to tune in.

Last year she was paid VERY well to be an abstinence speaker.

Dear World, please don't think all of us in Alaska are like the Palins, Levi Johnston, or Slade Smiley (RHoOC). TV has just happened to find a few rotton apples and put them on display.

I live in Anchorage. Yes, I will be watching this dreck.

I don't think all Alaskans are like these boils on the butt of society any more than I think that everyone in NJ is like the horrors constantly thrown at us (Housewives, Snookie et al).

I'm also schadenfreude happy about the fact that there are absolutely no new snarks about this mess which, I believe, aired last night. I know I didn't watch, hopefully not many others did either. God help me, I actually read a book.

edited because my typing still sucks.
