Let's see..... Who's missing? I know I know, Axl Rose. What A F'ing ASS he is.

Axl is an ass. And I think he made a bigger ass of himself by writing that letter to the Hall of Fame.

I wondered why Rod Stewart didn't show up for his induction with the Faces but then I read a couple of days later that he had influenza. How about John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers? Why wasn't he there?

I liked it being on HBO because that would mean no censorship of cuss words. On the bad side, it's the further marginalization of music on basic cable. One of the better lineups. It's too bad every single band had someone crucial missing for different reasons - Beastie Boys, GNR, Red hot chili Peppers, Faces/LilFaces.

I did miss the lack of montages of past clips of each band.

Absolutely loved the show, I think it's great to bring the party to HBO.

My favorite performance of the night was Sarah Bareilles singing Laura Nyro's beautiful Stoney End. An honor long overdue for Laura, and a beautiful induction by Bette Midler. She had me verklempt!
