THE FINAL WOMEN ATTEND GO-SEES - The models make their way through Hong Kong to attend go-sees, where one of the women loses her confidence and crumbles under the pressure. At the photo shoot for the "America's Next Top Model" fragrance, Dream Come True, the stakes are raised as the models pose in front of the client, Hatch Beauty founder Ben Bennett. Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker join guest judge, photographer Jez Smith, as well as Tyra Banks on the judges' panel for elimination (#1811).

An hour that really lacked suspense since basically everyone knew that Annaliese was going to be eliminated.

Laura was pretty bad tonight from top to bottom.

I cannot imagine how they will spin the Laura win should she indeed do so. I find her to be generally insufferable.

Hoping for a Sophie win!

I concur. Laura doesn't know how to walk, she's been in this competition for weeks and is she not practicing her walk during this time? Isn't not knowing how to walk down a runway more of deterrent than being commercial sometimes? At least Annaliese can book go sees and sell the product. Why were the go sees so easy? They had a guide? How is that going to prepare them for real life go sees after the show?

I'm pretty sure this was my last episode of ANTM since I don't care who wins now and Tyra is getting rid of the better parts of the show since she fired the J's and Nigel, leaving her with Kelly Cutrone I guess.

How the hell do the get this far in ANTM with a girl who can't walk when they have Miss Jay on staff and they've already done two casting calls/catwalks prior to this?

They'd actually have had to actually practice walking for it to make any difference. I'm not surprised Laura's walk is bad. Tyra hasn't had them do any real training in a few cycles now.

I get that Tyra didn't necessarily provide walking lessons like she did in cycles past, that we have seen but there is nothing to stop Laura from practicing on her own volition. You want to be a model it's no different from Tyra telling the girls they need to practice their angles imo.

True but it would still help some of them a lot more if they actually saw and practiced what a decent walk should look like with an actual coach. You can practice all you want but if you have bad habits and haven't been shown any better you'll still wind-up with a bad walk.

Speaking of angles, Alisha did the same up your nose shots she did on BNTM yet how often did any of them call her on it? Practically her whole portfolio on BNTM, post-BNTM and on C18 were all shots up her nose. A bad habit that she should have been encouraged to not rely on so much.

Tyra has given up any semblance of this being a show about modeling so a girl with a bad walk/no clue about her angles is not surprising.

I liked how the judges went on and on about the "youthful teenage target market" for the cologne, yet they launched it with AARP-cardholder Lisa!

Sophie for the win!

Well, didn't see that one coming...not.
Was it just me, or did all three of the girls question the validity of the judges' potential choices/decisions at some point in the episode? Sophie referenced it being America's Next Top Model, Laura said that she hoped that being the only remaining American wouldn't be the only thing pushing her through to the finale (IMO, it was), and Annaliese said something along those lines that I can't remember.
I lost track of how many times Sophie emphasized that Annaliese was a PRESENTER, not a model. It made me lose a lot of respect for Sophie, and definitely (again, in my opinion), showed a bit of insecurity on her end.
Kelly Cutrone...I have nothing to even say about you.
I am going to miss Nigel & Jay way too much.

Even though I figured Annaliese was a goner, I'm still gonna miss her. Laura is stank, and despite the fact that Sophie has taken some great pics and is getting a good edit, she seems bitchy to me. UGH. Bring back Catherine, AzMarie, and Alisha and let one of them win.

And given her history, it looked to me like her campaign for a new line of giant bottles of Vodka instead of perfume.

Anyway, I liked the guides. And I liked how the Brits seemed to understand the need to be different towards each casting while Laura was just giving "Laura".

I wouldn't mind having a get to know you you meet and greet with Jez.

This! Though, it's not just that Lisa looks old in the perfume (and every other) picture. For me, it is more that there is just something wrong with that perfume picture of her. It's terrible. I shudder every time they put it on screen.

To be fair, Annaliese herself considers this to be a compliment according to her vlogs - she sees herself as a presenter, not a model, and I believe she's probably said something along those lines to the other girls at some point.

This episode was generally dull and unsurprising, and all of the doubt generated for Laura ("She can't walk!" "If she wins it's just because she's an American!" "She's not a role model!") will probably be swiftly dealt with in the finale, making it seem like she overcame all those obstacles and then won because she deserved it. Because no, I still don't see any way for Sophie to win this.

I don't see how Sophie can win either, she is right. The show is set up for an American to beat a Brit, so Annalise was screwed anyway this week. But I wish it came down to Azmarie and Sophie...that would have far more interesting, two totally different types and looks. Here we end up with two bleached-blonds. I cannot stand Laura but I guess she will end up winning, hard to take after Lisa winning last time, which I am still not over. How can Alison not win twice???

I don't care if she wins or not, and she probably won't even though I think she should, Sophie is absolutely freakin adorable and she's completely saved this season for me. Annaliese had no real intention of ever being a model, this was just a means to an end for her to get noticed. She's pretty blatantly out trying to be on a shoddy tv news magazine and that's perfectly fine, good for her, I don't dislike her, I just felt nothing for her. Laura will probably win despite her being kinda nasty in most respects. Tyrant doesn't have the stones to go against the home team methinks.

Complete and uter bullshit elimination. Be honest Tyra, the only reason Analise is gone is you wanted a UK vs US ending.

If she has any sense, Sophie will win. Of course we know, Tyra has no sense.

Sophie is getting a runner up edit. She won THE best prize out of any girl (in ANY season), a year campaign with a designer in HK, and a boat full of clothes. Ridiculous! Someone mentioned how she is a full time working model in Britain already with a great agency so she wouldn't need the prizes.

Seriously. I don't hate Lisa, but that photo is horrific.

So were these. I don't like Jez Smith on AusNTM, I didn't think he was any better here. I don't get how the setup for the shoot was intended to draw a younger demo (which I guess was...12-17? Or 18-25?). When I think of fun, light, and youthful I think of movement, maybe even an outdoor setting. Sticking them in a bottle was weird. And, all of their faces looked off to me- I blame the lighting (or photoshop) for that, not the models.

I really thought this was the finale. But I guess they needed an hour to set Laura up for the victory by giving her an obstacle to overcome. I would have been fine with her winning up until the moment she bitched about having to do more go-sees. As both Sophie and Annaliese noted, that's kind of what you do as a model. She should enjoy the chance to meet more-or-less real designers who could possibly book her later, win or lose.

First of all. Laura. SHUT. UP. She complains that there's another go-see. She complains that she's out of her comfort zone. You're a model, bitch. Deal with it.

I know it was a time waster and obviously Annaliese was going to be eliminated but I sort of enjoyed it.

I kinda loved the designer of the House of Siren LOL. He was all excited to be on TV, I guess. So glad Annaliese did great during the Go-Sees too. And to be fair, I didn't think Laura's walk was that horrible. Not at Lauren/Allison levels definitely. Oh and these hamsters had it so easy. They didn't seem concerned about the time limit and they had guides. Lame. It was nice to see them partying though.

So the finale is going to be a fashion show for Forever 21. We go from having Cavalli and Westwood fashion shows(I don't really know Michael Cinco but I guess he doesn't really count since the dresses were custom made for the hamsters in All-Stars) to Forever 21. Ok.

Jez Smith. Yes please.

Nigel looked so tired during panel.

I'm going to miss Annaliese, too. She was the one making this cycle bearable for me as she is just so likeable. I want to think that editing didn't lie and that she really is that nice person. Her vlogs sure make her seem so.

But, I'm confused. Sophie won a year's campaign with Nude is Rude, but the designer clearly stated that Annaliese was by far her favourite! I was expecting Sophie to win the challenge, but then they'd tell Annaliese that she was picked by N is R to represent them. I did think that she looked great in their clothes. Guess the designers don't have a lot of say in this, either.

Sigh...stank Laura vs bitchy Sophie. Modelwise, I have to hope Sophie takes it but as we all know, actual talent means nothing on this show.

And, yes. Shut up Laura. Modelling is always about being someone other than YOU!

Tyra has had other poor walkers not only be in the final 2, but also win--Adrianne, Caridee, short Nicole, and Ann. So I can see how Laura could still win this.

Lemme get this straight. The final competition is a runway show (I know it's only for Forever 21, but it's a recognizable brand at the very least) and you have picked someone who was never picked for any of the runway shows and who also happens to have a piss-poor walk.

Meanwhile, The Proof Is in the Pudding Annaliese got picked for 3/4 of her go-sees, generally seems to charm everyone and makes a great impression.. has correspondent/presenter experience (and one of the 'duties' is correspondent for Extra!) and also was the ONLY one who managed to deliver 'young and fresh'. It took a little while, but she actually delivered in the end. AND the client liked her. Incidentally, I thought the client was a total tool. No me gusta. I didn't not like him one bit, got a majorly creepy vibe off him. I have nothing to back this up, but he just seemed like a total toolbox.

Total BS elimination. Annaliese killed it this week. She should've stayed. She also looked good at panel, and Laura looked like Strung Out Hippy #4 from an old episode of The Wonder Years. Ridiculous.

This! Though, it's not just that Lisa looks old in the perfume (and every other) picture. For me, it is more that there is just something wrong with that perfume picture of her. It's terrible. I shudder every time they put it on screen.

Is it just me or does the way she's clutching the bottle of perfume remind one of Gollum in "Lord of the Rings"? I can almost hear her saying "The precccciouuuusssssss..." Just me? OK. <slinks away>

Well that made perfect sense.

Annaliese, your photos are getting stronger each week, you have an amazing personality, you bring joy to the set, you booked 3 out of 4 go-sees, you have a great walk, everyone loves you. Laura, the judges think you're a one trick pony, you bring pirate but you can't do soft and feminine, you booked 2 out of 4 go-sees, your walk is horrendous and your attitude is stank. So who stays in this competition to walk in a runway fashion show?

Laura, of course.

I may be done with this show. Complete and utter bullshit. Why not just say that you want a Brit and an American facing off? Because the right person certainly wasn't chosen based on Tyra's rundown of facts.

Sophie should run away with this thing blindfolded and hog tied - - but this being Tyra, she will likely crown that whiny pirate bitch Laura.

It's 'fan-dabby-dozy' and it's the catchphrase of a really weird husband/wife comedy duo I remember as a kid in the UK called the Krankies. The woman dressed as a small schoolboy in a uniform...

It's a strange thing for her to say unless it's made a resurgence in the fifteen years since I moved and has become cool or something.

And she should've been in the final but there's no way they'd lose the US/UK fight to the death theme even though among the girls themselves it stopped being an issue a while back so it's an incredibly artificial conflict.

Every time I see Laura's stiff, fried hair, I cringe. It looks like plastic Barbie hair. It looks like if you pulled it straight out it would stay there, like so much blonde wire. It's sad that the red and blue extensions that get put in look more realistic than the actual hair. Just ugh, ugh, ugh.
