First Christina on 'The Voice,' now J-Lo - put on some f-ing pants! Perhaps the wardrobe budget has been slashed.

No surprise whatsoever that Hollie got the boot. Even Stevie Wonder saw that coming.

Hometown visits next week...it's always the same. Wonder what songs will be picked for each contestant.

I can't say I was surprised by the results tonight. It was all but written on the wall that Hollie's time was up. However, her singout was so triumphant - so strong, really tapped into the emotion of the lyrics of "The Climb." I was thoroughly impressed.

Now, I have mixed feelings. I think Jessica is talented, but I can't forget that the only reason she's still around is because of that judges save. So, looking at the Top 3 that remain, I find myself in the weird position of rooting for Phillip and Joshua.

I enjoyed seeing David Cook on the stage again, but was bummed out that they didn't have Ryan do a mini-interview with him.

This may be strictly a Canadian thing but when they announced David Cook's song I immediately thought "Edward Bear?"

Ugh, bummer! Now we have the oversinging Joshua, the trolling Phillip and the uninteresting Jessica. Pity really, since Hollie has been reminding me for the past few weeks why I loved her. Sucks that she hit a snag last night, of all the nights. And she had the most interesting Idol journey of the three. Since she ends at 4th, I wonder if anyone's gonna sign her because I'm not sure about what her musical direction is.

That being said, who's gonna have the Happy Feet song next week?

Yeah what is up with the bathing suit look. Not flattering for either one of them.

I don't have a pony in this race so I don't care who wins. Well, actually I hope it is anyone but Snoozefest Jessica.

Yeah I noticed that there was no talk of "Hollie's album" as opposed to the other three. Too bad. She did sing out on a high and the hugs from the judges looked genuine. I guess she'll be at Joshua's concert next week?

Was that J.Lo's toy boy dancing with her?

Kind of bummed about Hollie, but it was her time.

Ratings were down last night. Nothing to see here, folks. Except some overwrought singing, lots of hyperbole, and given JLo's outfit this evening....(draw your own punchline).

If JLo cut the soft porn from her act, people might notice how lackluster her singing is.

I still think the save was just a set up for Jessica's win. Isn't the eventual winner (or the one they want to win) usually declared safe first in the top 4 and 3?

I figured as much when Skylar was eliminated. I didn't even watch last night and, instead, watched a few of the performances on the Idol web site. I bet the finale will be one of the lowest rated ever, too.

Hollie's sing out was great. The highlight of the show.

Ya know, I do think J Lo is beautiful, but that outfit made her look way way hippy and not a good look. And the lyrics of that song? Good lord, really not appropriate for a bunch of mid-teens in the audience as well as on stage.

And I'll miss Hollie. She was growing on me and I actually like her voice better than Jessica's - who just leaves me dead cold. I haven't a clue who will win and quite frankly, I don't care. Since Elise left, I've just watched to be watching altho I have enjoyed several of the performances but not always by the same kid.

What 'singing' would that be?
So they tried to fake us out that PP was B2, which I'm sure he wasn't.
I don't care about anybody but Joshua now; looking forward to seeing his hometown visit.
Oh, and my beloved Cook sounded the best I've heard him on the show since his season, what a voice he has, sigh.

I am very sad that Hollie got booted. I refuse to go with Jimmy in that I have to pick between Hollie and Jessica. I like both. Joshua, meanwhile, cannot leave soon enough for me.

Dear J.Lo: now that you are a Mom, you really need to wear pants in public.

How cool is it that David Cook's guitarist is a Vulcan? That's diversity right there.

Iovine's comments about Hollie were brutal but true - esp. the one about her hitting the opera button. But THAT is how you do a sing out.

I guess I am rooting for Joshua, if only because I love a boy who can cry ugly. Made me wanna hug him and give him a tissue. (And I love the way he sings - all out).

Yes! I am so thrilled. It's not an interesting journey to me to go from mediocre to slightly above average. Yes Hollie had growth but she started out so low as compared to the ones remaining. It would have been a travesty for Hollie to outlast Jessica, Joshua or even Phillip. Jessica has been fighting an uphill battle against these guys and I hope she can get to the finale. But if not, I think she will have impressed enough to get a record deal.

There are so many people Hollie outlasted that she can't hold a candle to (Sky, Elise, Erika, Colton) so that should make her proud. Pity and judge outrage has gotten a lot of people far on this show over the years. She's just the latest.

I would also love it if Joshua won. His song last night was one of the all time best on this show.

I'm glad some people don't fall for the judges shenanigans. You can like both Hollie and Jessica. You can dislike both or just one. I don't even listen to those idiots.

Hollie messed up last night. The others made choices I may not have liked, but they executed as they wished.

Ameriker got it right again.

JLo is one hawt mami. I wouldn't walk across the street to see her, but she knows what she is and what works.

We are past the point where we will have a travesty for a winner. I expect Peepee to take it, but I'd rather have either of the other two do so.

Hollie never needed a judge's save, just a remarkable voice and lovely personality. She's in my top 3. I'll support your soul brother, babe. Joshua all the way!

I find that to be a rather unfair assessment of Hollie. If you look at her stats according to how the Idolsphere rates her, she did well in her first couple of weeks. Then, she hit a snag in the middle and finally caught some footing post-save. Sucked that she fubared it on the most crucial night. But hey, she's left a trail of more than respectable performances. Not too shabby, I'd say. And to say that she started out so low when statistics say otherwise makes the point moot.

There are so many people Hollie outlasted that she can't hold a candle to (Sky, Elise, Erika, Colton) so that should make her proud. Pity and judge outrage has gotten a lot of people far on this show over the years. She's just the latest.

You could argue that the said four were better. The problem is they made more critical mistakes than Hollie did. Hence, she lasted as long as she did. That's up for debate, really. Sure, saying that "pity and judge outrage" was what let her get that far holds some water, but that discounts the fact that she upped her game the past couple of weeks.

All in all, you gotta give Hollie that credit she deserves for a Haley-esque run. And with all due respect to Haley, Hollie started on a higher plane than Haley did in her first outing.

Count me in as one who has officially lost interest in this season. Hollie was the only one left that I cared about, and the only one whose singing I really enjoyed. I can't stand Jessica or PP, so I hope Joshua wins, but I don't think I'll be watching again. If it weren't for the stupid save, Hollie would've gotten her hometown visit. It makes me not want to watch AI anymore, period.

I'm so sad! I loved Hollie. I feel like she has the most interesting voice and I loved watching her journey. Her sing-out was amazing. You can't lie, the judges have constantly treated her poorly throughout the season.

Jessica - Vocal copycat. Of course she has an amazing voice but her personality STINKS. She comes across as arrogant but i guess that is also immaturity.

Final 2 - Josh and Jessica

Winner - BeBe Chezzica.

I don't really see how that is. Sure, she probably doesn't show much personality on TV but THAT bad? I don't buy it.

I couldn't care one way or the other about Hollie's singing, but I'm bummed she didn't make it to the Top 3 for the simple reason that we're now denied a home visit with her adorable family.

Jessica's starting to feel more and more like a Vonzell to me. I'm not sure I see a way that she makes it past next week.

Yes (not that I'd have enjoyed the performance anyway; never got into him). The short, receding, spiky hair combined with a rather full beard looked very unbalanced.

No surprise that Hollie's gone, although since I haven't had a horse in this race for weeks now, I'm not all that disappointed. I missed the show but apparently she went out strong, so good for her.

Jessica/Joshua/Phil--I don't care. I'm looking forward to the finale only to see the bootees, especially DeAndre (it feels like it's been a year since he and Erica and Heejun got the boot).

How do you have statistic for a reality show singing contestant. My opinion is my own and don't need any validation for it from people I don't know. Maybe I'm the only one in the world that didn't like Hollie and I'm fine with that.

the ford commercial was horrid.

How does Phillip get out of doing these things.

Mojoween - the show does have a totally different feel now.
