From Comcast.net:

Class president Brittany uses her bully pulpit to promote the prom. Then, after the king and queen nominations are announced, the kids start campaigning while outcasts organize a rival celebration.

Not loving the title.

Wasn't Blaine devoid of gel when he got drunk last season at Rachel's house? I'm pretty sure he was very free and bouncy when he was making out with Rachel and telling Finn how tall he was.

And there is something hilarious about Quinn not letting Finn and Rachel have their prom dance before she has her miraculous standing up moment.

With the dinosaur theme, I was expecting Bang a Gong by T-Rex, anything by Dinosaur Jr & Everybody Walk the Dinosaur by Was (Not Was).

I guess Mr Shue & Emma Pilsbury were just prom attendees, not chaperones since all they did was dance all night.

I don't want it to end either, Tina.

And Rachel's age changes yet again! She mentioned waiting 18 years or something, yet she'll be 17 till December.

I appreciate the unintentional irony of Finn strutting around school calling girls selfish. Maybe we can get an entire hour of that next year… I'm sure there's plenty of selfish bitches in NY who need to be put in their places by Finn Hudson.

I don't even know what to make of the majority of this episode. Puck was adorable with Becky but ugh, I hate that he's giving up on graduating. Both he and Rachel need to stop moping around and make shit happen.

Kurt and Blaine comforting Rachel was actually sweeter than I expected. Although I don't like Chris's voice on the chorus of Big Girls Don't Cry, I wish they had let him sing the verse he sings on the single version, he sounds much better.

Didn't appreciate the sentiment of Finn's speech to Rachel that implied getting people to stop bullying you is some sort of huge accomplishment.

Yeah, they kind of missed the theme.
Where was Quinn's picture?
Loved Puck. I don't understand why Finn has to keep having these "I'm about to cry" faces. Knock that shit off.

I actually enjoyed this episode... for the most part. Blaine's hair is adorable. Please stop with the gel. Way too much.

Him and Rachel need more duets. They sound good together. Chris could have missed that one.

The whole Quinn could walk thing... ugh...

Puck and Becky... AWWWWWW... that was it for me!

First time I like an ep in a while, Finn aside (god, he annoyed me tonight).

Loved the girls friendships. Loved Santana and Quinn (them giving Rachel the crown was epic). I actually liked most of the storylines and felt they were well balanced.

brittany opening the episode didn't work for me, though, cause she speaks so fast and is so nonsensical that I just get so lost. Although I did like that line about Joe, that new girl, inspiring her to make dinosaurs the theme because of her hair. And she's failing? ehhhh.

The songs were okay, my favorite was Take my breath away. Although kurt's parts in Big girls don't cry rivaled 'Effie, I'm tirreeeedddd' in the unintentional hilarity.

Particularly loved Santana and Quinn together, and even the Rachel/Quinn moments. It's nice to see girl friendships for a change.

Everybody Walk the Dinosaur by Was (Not Was).

I heard it playing in the background at one point, even if it wasn't being sung by the cast.

Also, gotta love that Santana's practically a Faberry shipper. She can see them making out too.

Last year's prom was better.

Did we really need to spend an hour on the Rachel pity party for one? And while we're at it show, last year getting voted as Prom Queen was to humiliate Kurt. This year they rig the vote to make Rachel feel better about herself? Yeah... that works...

Fuck you, show... Aside from Kurt and Blaine (who shall now be known as Broccoli Head) looking adorable and Puck being sweet, there wasn't much here.

This. I do prefer Quinn when Santana is around to keep her real. Although Brittany's dumbness is on my last nerve. OK, they have Puck NOT graduating and what about Brittany? The girl is obviously clueless.

That sucked. It could have been very bittersweet, instead it was just wangsty.

How is it not bullying for Brittany to make fun of Blaine's hair gel? Shouldn't she not tolerate herself? If just calling the idea of a prom theme of Dinosaurs is stupid is considered bullying telling someone that they don't look good certainly is.

Becky gets crowned with a beer carton and no one points and laugh.

Santana is really surprised that kids in Lima, OH would not vote for a female prom king. Speaking of which nice way to skip over the fact the Prom King from last year was not available to do the crowning because he tried to commit suicide earlier this year. Oh and way to continue the humiliation for Kurt by reminding him he was Prom Queen and making him do the honors. Also, everyone in that school outside of Glee hates Rachel. There would have been a chorus of boos to her winning. Which would have tipped off any principal with a clue that something was up.

I guess Blaine's hair gel is also his hair brush. On the plus side, no Blaine solos.

Puck was good. And maybe Mark Salling will be back next year where maybe he will be allowed to sing again. Oh who am I kidding, he will, by some miracle, graduate with the rest of the gang.

Unplanned pregnancy, homelessness, pariah status, a prolonged mental breakdown, and a forced outing apparently constitute "a dream high school experience" now? Seriously, Ryan Murphy? Quinn and Santana both went through hell in high school. It was mixed with moments of popularity, sure, but seriously?

I actually liked most of this episode, apart from, once again, the return of Hero!Finn. Guh. I also note that after last week's domestic violence PSA, Finn was apparently going to manhandle Quinn out of that chair, even though in the subsequent moment of her standing up she had to grab the mic stand to gain her initial balance.

Brittany and Santana got several great scenes individually, but were the only couple that didn't get to actually, you know, talk to each other. Why am I not surprised at this point? The Quinn/Santana scene was great.

I really liked the Tike moments as well, between loving prom (thank you, guys, for recognizing Brittany's skill at party planning) and the final scene where Tina contemplates goodbye.

Blaine explained it was all the static electricity from the balloons and sequins that made his hair all poofy.

Mr problem with that is I find it really hard to believe that after a year together that Kurt has never seen Blaine's hair without gel.

Rachel, you have come far.

I mean, three years ago, you were a driven young woman who kept her head despite being bullied and had big dreams for the future that you wouldn't compromise for anything.

Now, you find yourself without any plans for the future because you didn't have a back-up plan; you're engaged at 18; and the highlight of your year is that you were awarded a meaningless title a high school girl can receive, not because you gained the admiration of your peers, but because you happened to be pitied by two popular girls who you happened to befriend in the last two years.

I think the real victim of the night was Missy Gunderson. When the two top nominees drop out, the award should have gone to her. The vote was rigged. Literally. By the other two candidates.

I felt so bad for Darren Criss. Anyone who's seen AVPM knows his hair is actually very attractively messy, though perhaps the cut he has now made it look uneven like that.

Puck's storyline with Becky was kind of cheesy, but they sold it. Becky's distracting Sue so Puck could spike the punch cinched it.

And in all honesty, most episodes I think everyone in Glee hates Rachel as well. Though I liked the look of Guitar player number 2. The way he smiled at Rachel, if Glee went there i would ship it. Anything would beat the tiresome Finchel. Love Rachel but don't enjoy her with Finn.

Instead we got the never ending vocal abortion that was that Brittany song.

Every time Chris Colfer refuses to leave his head voice I keep trying to figure out which Muppet he sounds like. Today I think it is Beaker with better annunciation.

Where was Sugar?

I think the real victim of the night was Missy Gunderson.

Ha ha! What about the Gunderson?

Love bitchy!bossy!Brittany. I also like that she is still able to read groups of people so well. She gave them a prom theme that gave everyone the excuse to cut loose and act like little kids and have fun just as they are celebrating the end of their childhoods. I didn't really get it until everyone's pictures in the end, but it totally worked.

I'm just going to pretend it makes some kind of sense that two prom queen candidates would be in charge of counting the votes. I'm going to give Brittany credit for that one, too. And Naya's delivery of her line as she was carrying the ballot boxes was pitch perfect.

I have to admit, I'm so very, very sick of the Finchel. But I have enough love for Rachel still to appreciate her getting her Buffy gets a tiny gold umbrella moment, even if it was rigged, because it was rigged by two people who used to hate her and now really do care and that's ultimately more meaningful than the opinions of the kids that voted Kurt prom queen for spite last year.

The Becky and Puck stuff was both cute and slightly disturbing during the strip poker part. But it was nice that she got her little moment, too. Though her mini-Sue tirades were awesome.

Overall that was probably the most enjoyable episode of the season since Heart, so yay for that. Everyone got a moment or two, no one was completely overwhelming the screen time. I really miss this Glee and wish we had more of it this season.

I particularly loved when Quinn stood up and Santana ran over to help her. Cuteness. Brittany having fun tormenting Mr. Broccoli Head was adorable too.

So Quinn doesn't get a prom picture???

Neither did Puck and Becky. :(

Everything involving Puck was sheer perfection. I can't even deal with how perfect he is. Are they really throwing that away? Idiots.

As for the rest:

I would say all the music sucked, except that would imply I listened to any of it. Rather, I employed my lovely Finchel-button. (This is what I've rechristened the fast-forward button.)

Everybody looked better at last year's prom, except Kurt. (Not that Kurt didn't rock the kilt, but this was sex-ay.) And I don't know if that shit song was an attempt to recreate the magic and sheer genius of "Friday," but it failed.

Way to crap all over Rachel's character journey, show. You just don't get it, do you? Rachel doesn't need the boy, and she definitely doesn't need to be freaking Prom Queen and get applause from the assholes at McKinley High. She'll get her applause when she's on stage, and she doesn't need winning some silly crown to re-inspire her to go after her dreams.

Everybody worship at the altar of Finchel, your King and Queen of suck. That is your only choice. And you know, all I've been thinking lately, let's do another rehash of the Finn/Quinn/Rachel dramaz. Because that never ever gets old. And make sure to crap all over Quinn's character and use her as Finchel roadkill again.

How did I know Rachel and Puck would be at anti-Prom together and still not speak to each other?

Brittany needs to shut up and dance...just, not to that thing I hesitate to call a "song." Yay, Finchel button!

You said everything I liked also! Also Kurcedes dancing together was cool. Pretty much Samcedes and Puck/Becky made this watchable. Oh, and Santana was made of win and she hasn't been my favorite lately. And Quinn upstaging Finchel.

The Moral of this whole episode is that Finn is the most self-righteous douchebag ever. And Finchel has killed two characters I used to like.

I thought Blaine looked really cute with his hair that way.

I'll have to give this ep a conditional like. It definitely felt like a filler ep, but that's okay. None of the music really stood out, but I did enjoy Santana doing "Love You Like A Lovesong." I actually liked it better than the original. I even liked "Big Girls Don't Cry" though Kurt's voice didn't quite fit. But it was nice and fluffy. Couldn't care less about the boy band song the guys did.

I did really like Santana giving Rachel a smackdown for the pity prom. Her bitchiness is best when used as a scapel and she read Rachel like a book. I really liked Quinn when the random prom girl talked to her. I actually told the husband "That's the Quinn we all know and love. Now pardon me while I get my hipwaders." It's been a while since Quinn brought out the knife.

Add me to the Puckerman love. He played that just right and I did like Becky's storyline.

The girls all looked great but Santana and Rachel definitely won best dressed. Santana always looks hot but Rachel was absolutely stunning tonight. And I liked Blaine without product. It was adorable. And that really is Darren Criss's hair.

didn't get into the story, but i wasn't worried about it. It felt more playful than anything else.

I think that I am officially divorcing this show. The only alimony I will take is darling Harry Freaking Potter. I started watching this show for him, and only him. The characters change every episode. They (with the exception of Mike and Tina who are largely ignored) keep becoming more and more unlikeable.

This episode for me can be summed up with this phrase: And nothing of value was lost!

I'm not sure how I felt about this episode, but I really wanted more of the Tina scene. With her losing pretty much all her friends, except Artie, she seems to be handling it hard (judging by all the crying she said she'd been doing). I think that would have been a good opportunity to see how she felt. (and to get more Tina)
