THE MODELS VISIT HONG KONG - The models are challenged with having to learn a fight sequence and act in a scene with Nicholas Tse, international actor and pop star. The pressure is on as the women have to pose while harnessed atop a high rise tower in extreme rain and wind. Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker join guest judge Nicholas Tse as well as Tyra Banks on the judges' panel for elimination

I am totally over Laura now.
EDIT: This is the first time that I have been truly stunned by the outcome. The edit at the beginning focused on many people, I wasn't sure what was about to happen. Now, I see why.

Same here! I was totally expecting Annaliese to go home because Kelly hates her, but never expected for both Alisha and Eboni to depart. Definitely rooting for Annaliese next week, but I feel like she'll be going home.
Kind of over Laura now too. She's just so... much. And not in a good way. Ugh. This season is crazy/unpredictable.

A Brit better get the title. Laura gets more and more annoying with each episode.
Pulling for Sophie personally.

I'm getting tired of Laura getting so much praise for lackluster shots.

I'm done with the season. Alisha was my favorite and really had a chance to redeem herself and win. What happened to all that "Doing it for my mum?" talk? To come THIS far in the competition and now feel the pressure? It's ridiculous, so I guess good riddance to her weak behind. Eboni was my favorite in the beginning but fell off, so when Alisha quit I was pissed, but then I thought "Oh well, at least Eboni will have another chance." And no.
I love Annaliese but she won't win, Kelly can't stand her, Tyra is on the fence, and it seems that Nigel is just on her train to stick it to Kelly. Laura is blah. Sophie is Blah. A Sophie/Laura final two is ultra BLAH. So whoever wins wins.
Oh, and what the hell was with the Sophie 2nd callout?? Are you kidding me? Kelly Cuntrone sure has power on this damned show.

I wanted to like Eboni, but she sounds she's getting over a cold all the time.
At this point, I don't care who wins.

At least this show used to be amusing and entertaining! It's not even that anymore!!!
I miss Seasons 1 and 2, when modelling ability actually counted for something.

And after watching her back and forth with Nigel, I wonder if she was involved with his departure. I don't think she saved/helped Sophie, though.Kelly Cuntrone sure has power on this damned show.
I was wondering how they were going to wrap up next week, but I did not expect that. The editors have done much better in general this season, imho, and it's been a nice treat.
I feel bad for Alisha. I hope she goes home and moves away from modeling, maybe to television. I think her best thing was that music video (I secretly hope Fiercely British becomes a "real" group and there's a tv show about it, sort of like The Monkees). She should explore that.
I appreciated Nigel bringing up Mercedes. It's nice to remember they found a few people who have had visible post-show success.
Do publicists book models for a client? I don't know the industry well enough to know.

Actually only two did. Louise and now Alisha. Kyle was thinking about it, but never did.

I was really surprised by the ending of the panel. The last two episodes, they showed Alisha threaten to walk if she was in bottom two, but I didn't expect her to make good on her word. However, what was her reason for quitting again? She was sobbing so much I didn't catch what she was saying in her final interview. She really is gorgeous, with legs for days, but when they showed her portfolio in the end, she had maybe two good shots - the Hello Kitty and the American car/British hat photos.
This double elimination helped set a new record: for the first time, none of the top three girls has ever been in the bottom two, which is really pretty impressive.

I don't know. I kinda enjoyed Nigel's comment tonight that I took to mean "well yeah she had the best shot tonight, but only because you decided to do a terrifying photo shoot just to screw with them and Laura's the only one crazy enough to not be affected by it. The girls who are actually decent models were terrified or they would have been better than her." Not exactly resounding praise…I'm getting tired of Laura getting so much praise for lackluster shots.
And the location really was stupid since in no way could you remotely tell where they were or how high they were.

I won't miss Eboni. She was boring annoying. I feel bad hating on a child, but there it is. Nigel sort of summed it up, give us something, even if it's not what we want.
Holy Shit! I know I say it every week, but fuck Kelly is an asshole. I think I remember what an asshole she is and then I see it and I realize it's so much worse then I remember.

2 quitting is more than there should be, my first thought when Alisha actually quit was that Tyra basically beat her down until until she broke. She was fine until they terrified with that stupid photoshoot. I don't know anything about the modeling business, but I refuse to believe that a real shoot would take place in those kind of conditions with an obviously terrified model.Three girls quit this season, maybe production needs to worry more about that and less about trimming the staff. Something is wrong. Either with the pre-production screenings, or the atmosphere on set.
edited- only 2 quit and 2 were seconds from leaving the show when they were let go.

Now it's pretty obvious the final two is going to be between Sophie and Laura, there are slim to none chances of an Annelise(sp?) win or 2nd place for her.

I know, right? That drives me crazy. Yes, everyone enjoys sex. You're not the first one to discover it, so you don't need to go around talking about it all the time. Laura talks about sex the same way some annoying drunk people want to constantly talk about how drunk they are.Has Laura said how much she loved sex yet or did I miss that?

But that's why this show has no credibility any more, and hasn't since ... well, Cycle 1 or maybe 2. It's a reality show and not a search for decent models.

I am fascinated by the thought that these girls had a conversation about Hong Kong's buildings. I was willing to believe it was spontaneous until they used the word "architecture" and pronounced it correctly.
Why did Alisha get to quit without a Tyra scolding?

Why is Nigel finally making me like him now, of all times, when this will be his last season? Why was the Brad Pitt of China so hot? (And why am I now wishing the girls were in Thailand with Tony Jaa?) How is it possible for anyone to act as badly as Eboni did? Why did I actually not hate Laura in this episode, depsite all her efforts to the contrary? So many questions.

Yeah, this. I accept that reality shows are hotbeds of drama, but the cast in this cycle comes off pretty shaky unstable. And overall, this cycle seems very... cold and unpleasant. If we had one woman quitting, I'd accept that as an abberation, but when quitting is a constant topic being talked about, there's something going on. Now, since both girls who quit were Brits, I will accept that part of the problem is that the British women already appear to having working careers (aka something to go back to) so in some respects, I do think this is a casting problem. Alisha has a job and an agency back home, right? So when the time comes to go out on a roof deck and be fierce for Tyra (and bitch please, has Tyra ever harnessed up for space needle shots?) Alisha has the power to say "this just isn't worth it". I think Louise lost her shit, to a point, but also got fed up with being treated like a stupid puppy soiling the newspapers, and possibly one of the flaws of this show is the blatent ego stroking thats done to get these women on the show "you're better than everyone we didn't choose" and then the whole tear down process where you're a piece of shit in the eyes of the judges if you do anything other than agree... unless they want you to show some personality and if you're unhappy, its a coin toss as to whether Tyra chews your ass publically or just quietly lets you quit. (and frankly I was shocked Tyra didn't let loose on Alisha)

And yes, it's always part of a reality show that people say they want to go, but this season they seem to be jumping ship for real more than usual.
That photoshoot was insane. Okay, I just typed 'inane'. That works too. And did anyone tell the girls their harness would be photoshopped out? Because that was why some of them looked weird once it wasn't there. Add it back in and it would've made a lot of difference.
I'm not too scared of heights; stood happily on the glass floor of the CN Tower, but that shoot with the wind and the narrow platform had my palms sweaty. Pointless.

Did I miss something in Laura's bedroom confrontation? Because it seemed like Laura admitted she wanted to have sex with Nicholas Tse, the other girls acted scandalized, and then Laura immediately put on her Freudian slip and yelled, "I WOULD NOT FUCK MY WAY TO THE TOP! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT?!?!?" and ran away. The only person I heard say anything about sleeping her way to the top was Laura. Either I missed something one of the other girls said, or Laura just totally jumped right into the "Doth Protest Too Much" stage. (ETA: I was pretty much on Laura's side at the beginning, because HOW CUTE IS NICHOLAS TSE?)

Of course not. If she had, we'd have seen the photos as Jay Manuel told us about it in great detail.
Although I thought the challenge this week was stupid, I was impressed that the actor guy managed to say something nice about each girl's performance. Even the really shitty ones.
