THE WOMEN HEAD ABROAD - The final six women head to Macau, where they get a reading from an astrologer and are challenged with re-creating their auras through fashion and beauty. At the photo shoot, the models have to pose in exquisite silk gowns, while accessorized with silkworms crawling on their bodies. Kelly Cutrone and Nigel Barker join guest judge Barney Cheng as well as Tyra Banks on the judges' panel for elimination.

Yes the equally insufferable Sophie. Something is just so off-putting and phony about Sophie. Laura just seems so entitled to me because her parents were alcoholics. It's very hard to root for someone who's so smug.

Also I was shocked to hear Eboni say she had a full scholarship.

I think Laura's gorgeous, especially when she smiles. I love her. I'm one of the few people who doesn't really care for Sophie, although I'm betting she'll win it all. I think Laura, Sophie, and Alisha will be the top 3. Kelly doesn't like Analiese, and Eboni is just weak.

I'm sad that Catherine is gone, but I liked that Tyra was rooting for her (we were all rooting for her, how dare she!). I'm going to miss her vlogs.

That photo was NOT the best. I don't think it was Eboni's best either.

Laura just feels threatened by Eboni as she did Kyle. Of course she wanted Seymone to stay because she didn't view her as a threat!

I like Sophie and Laura, but that's because I like their pictures and personality wise, all the girls irritate now and then.

I knew Catherine was a goner when she mentioned being second in her BNTM competition and wanting a second chance.

Kelly Cutrone is such an asshole. Annalise is adorable and sweet, but Kelly insists on being awful, well about everything, but most especially Annalise.

Now Alisha is becoming a bitch too...some of these girls, the jealousy just eats away at their personality. She had nothing nice to say about anyone, glad she was knocked down a peg by getting 2nd to last.
I still like Sophie best overall...Laura takes good photos, but I am over her attitude and her sob stories...
Poor Catherine-super awkward photo...but so was Ebony's...
Alisha's was worse though as at least Catherine showed the dress...

It's always funny when ANTM suddenly comes out with "it's about selling clothes."

Sucks that Catherine had to go, but at least she got to speak before she went.

I like both Laura and Sophie. I think I might like everyone left, even Eboni (who may just be a threat to take it all if she embraces her brand). I thought the way she handled criticism from the other girls was pretty mature. I'm also curious how she got a full ride scholarship. Academics? Sports? Background?

I didn't really get the critique of Eboni's photo in terms of not having any neck. I thought that helped her look more like a little girl, which is her brand, right?

I also didn't get Kelly's compliment of Laura's photo, that you didn't even really notice the silkworms. If you don't notice them, what the hell was the point?

It's weird, I can't get a fix on the winner. It's kind of nice that it's not obvious (at least to me).

I forgot to say that I've had a growing suspicion for years that part of the way this show survives is that Tyrant has found a secret additional revenue stream by repackaging the footage from this show and selling it as fetish porn.

This episode and the maple syrup shoot do not convince me otherwise.

They aren't even pretending about the bias against Annaliese anymore, wow. She's turned out some mediocre shots before, but this one was stunning, and instead of hearing a ton of compliments during the judges' discussion, instead we get Kelly Cutrone saying "She's just not a model". Eugh. I think Annaliese should have been called first this week, myself. Can't wait to see what she has to say about those comments on her vlog...

The silk worms were kind of superfluous to that shoot, weren't they?

Laura needs to take a lot better pho-to to compensate for being so unpleasant and looking nothing like a model in person. But given how often they have shown family pho-tos and talked about how her parents were alcoholics I am thinking she is it.

At this point, I want her Sophie in the final so everyone else can go check themselves into some rehab for for the delusional belief that ANTM is relevant.

I may be wrong, but I'm guessing minority + poor family. There are a ton of scholarships for them.

No, you're not. I also think he is hot, hot, hot, hot, hot. But, I won't believe any single word came out from his mouth. Because I know a lot of so called mediums/fortune tellers are just passive reading, furthermore anything that he told was easily obtained from production team.

I also found that Tyra said that not sure Annaliese's photo is good shot for Analiese or a model, which makes thing about the model, but then she said model is not selling themselves but the clothe. If it is about selling the clothe, will this make Laura a bad model because all I see in her photos is her bending her body like crazy and not the clothe she wore. Yet she get FCO this week. Someone please explain?

I think that started from a few cycles back, every photoshoot that involved animal will put all our attention to the animal rather than the models. I saw someone even give the FCO to the animal and than rank the models behind them.

I found Laura's photoshoot really entertaining, and her photo was truly fantastic - one of the best of the season for me. I really wish they had shown her entire film because she was nailing shot after shot after shot.

I'm no expert on this, but personally, if all of this week's photos were featured in a spread, Laura's is the only one that would compel me to stop for a closer look. Sure, the first time I saw her photo, her pose caught my undivided attention; later, I noticed the dress, which also looked gorgeous. None of the other girls' photos achieved this, IMO.

I found Catherine's statement that the selected picture was from before they had given her the "be emotional" direction very telling - confirmation they didn't pick her best photo. I also love that the judges discussed her crap walk, but have not even once tried to help the models with their walks this whole season, unless there's something I'm forgetting.

No idea how Eboni has lasted this long.

I really liked Eboni's photo this week, and in fact really like her. I know she's not going to win, because they've been on her, and because she's been so openly critical of her assigned brand, but I think she's getting a pretty bad rap here.

Too bad about Catherine. They've been clearly setting her up to go home for a while now. That hair they gave her looked absolutely awful on her, and I don't believe that either this week or last week's shot was her best. But I would imagine she can be pretty successful outside of this show, with a little body work.

Annaliese isn't a fashion model, but she looked great both with the wig they gave her for the shoot, and the way she did her hair at panel. She's personable except to goblins, and she's got a fantastic body. Besides, since when is this show about being a fashion model, anyway? As Nigel said, that just doesn't fit with the prize package.

Laura, man. She's awful. I actually think she has a great face, but her hair is no good, and her attitude is horrible. I don't know if it's hard partying or the hair or just something else, but something about her seems worn and even a bit trashy, rather than fresh. Maybe she just needs a good moisturizer. Her body also seems a bit disproportionate. Unfortunately, I feel we're being set up for her to win. Out of the top six, she is definitely my last choice.

I agree, too bad. She was super nice to Tyra, telling her she was so happy to have met her. But they did a horrible job on her hair color.

I think Laura will win, but wouldn't mind if either Annaliese, Sophie or Alisha won. Eboni is young, she make it on another show.

No way was that Catherine's best shot. It looked like something that was snapped before they gave her direction.

It seemed pretty obvious to me during the judges' comments and panel discussion that a Brit was going to go, regardless of the pho-tos. I can't imagine that the pho-to shown of Sophie was her best either, based on what we saw of the shoot.

I will grudgingly say that Laura's shot was great. I do agree with Kelly (horrors) that dark hair suits Laura much better. That white blonde look just washes her out. She really doesn't look model-y at all at panel. And she is such a rank bitch that I can't stand her.

I actually liked Eboni for the first time.

With Catherine gone, I guess I am rooting for Sophie and Annaliese.

Laura DOES look trashy-that hair is a mess, it looks damaged and dead. That "color" works on so few people...she is not one of them. And I really don't like harsh eye make-up with the bleached out hair...

Catherine is beautiful, but you sure can't tell from this show...they made her look worse than she probably ever looked before she even thought of being a "model".

Clearly this is not about modeling anymore...only once in a while Tyra slips and says something that one would say to a model, but it is only a slip, as the show does not in any way resemble a modeling show any longer...too bad, as when they do photo shoots, that is the best part...I wish they did 2 shoots per episode and no challenges and NO SINGING OR DANCING. I really like this show in the early cycles...

Laura, no background or bad childhood entitles you to be such a nasty B. Get over it. No other models will want to be around you and most will be more qualified than you are.

That picture made Eboni look slightly hydrocephalic. There is no way that they are picking best shots after showing those sad images for Catherine and eboni.

I get the feeling that the worms we included in the hopes that one of the girls would have a major meltdown (EEEEWWWwWwW BUGS!) and in the absence of hysterionics the little guys were lost in those photos and became completely superfluous.

Exactly! Sometime I just don't understand that they keep talking that modelling is not selling the model's look. But, what really make people stop when browsing the magazine or on the street is the models, and then you will notice the clothe on them. Then people go "oh, the model is good looking with the clothe, I have to get the clothe so that I can become like them.". And not "the clothe looks so good, I need to get them so that I could look like the model."

Another thing, Alisha and Laura have been pegged as the possible winner at this point by a lot of people and yet they become more and more bitchy and mean. I don't know how tyra can fix this, especially with Laura. She just being mean and trash talking about a lot of people. The week after Az leave, she trash Kyle. After Kyle gone, she dances like an immature teenage girl to celebrate Kyle's leave. Then when Seymone was eliminated, she moves her target towards Eboni. I loved you before Laura, but your edit makes me can't help to hate you.
Alisha also became so jealous of Sophie last week, she discusses about how Sophie's photo was made because of her eyes make up. Then this week, she found a absolute deserving excuse to diss Sophie. Yes, Sophie touches your clothes, confront her and get over it. Repeating yourself is annoying, see teletubbies for your reference.

Yeah, it was very telling that Sophie responded incredibly maturely to Alisha's pissy attitude, and yet Alisha continued to make a big deal about it. For real, what better could you ask for? She heard there was a problem, she confronted it directly, she took full blame, and she apologized. At that point, it was just Alisha making a big deal because she dislikes Sophie for some other reason.

Well, Sophie shouldn't have taken Alisha's dresses out of her suitcase and placed them on the floor in the first place. Was she planning to borrow one of Alisha's dresses and neglected to return the rest to the suitcase, or something? I do give her credit for how she handled the situation: Alisha was being passive-aggressive, bitching about her while she was within earshot, and Sophie swiftly and calmly nipped that in the bud. Alisha, on the other hand, did herself no favors by going on and on about it even after Sophie had apologized (though I do think the editing made it seem that Alisha whined far longer than she actually did).

Still, I don't think Sophie should've messed with the other girls' things even if they are close friends, especially considering how stressful the competition must have been at that point. Isn't this essentially how Granola Gate started?

I agree on all fronts AnalysticalBoy. I have no idea why Sophie was in Alisha's things in the first place, but since Alisha was bitching about that part I'm assuming it was with permission. However, Sophie shouldn't have treated someone else's things like that whether she had permission to go in her bags or not. But at least she confronted the situation and apologized. Once she screwed up, that was all she could do.

I also agree that Alisha probably didn't bitch as long as they implied, but there were obviously at least 4 configurations of people listening to her tell the story, which means she bitched about it at least four times, which is 2-3 times too many. Especially since she was clearly still bitching after Sophie apologized. Alisha wanted to be mad and so she remained mad.

Alisha is showing her jealousy and immaturity in her attitude toward Sophie...she is probably nice to Sophie's face, so Sophie probably did not know why she freaked out...and maybe something of hers was in Alisha's bad, for all we know...anyway, I hate it when a girl who seems to be nice enough gets all ratty and mean when someone else does good for a while. What does she think will happen to her, if she goes on a run? I guess the Brits are just as catty after all...they all seemed so nice until this week...
