During Tuesday's show, Best-selling R&B group of all-time Boyz II Men returns to the ballroom with an incredible performance of their latest single, "One More Dance," off their landmark 20th anniversary album," Twenty." Their performance will be accompanied by Dmitry Chaplin and Anna Trebunskaya. The show will open with an amazing number from the Troupe, Val Chmerkovskiy, Peta Murgatroyd, Louis Van Amstel and Snejana Petrova, featuring a medley of Motown hit songs. This week's "AT&T's Spotlight Performance" spotlights the beautiful story of Michaela DePrince. And this week's "Macy's Stars of Dance" performance is the long awaited television debut of the hottest new contemporary dance company in America, Shaping Sound. The dance performance is choreographed by and features Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini and Teddy Forance. The performance is a special preview of the following week's Classical theme with an arrangement recorded by Aston, a classical group from Sydney, Australia, that create symphonic masterpieces out of pop music. The Dance Duel continues, and this week the bottom two couples will dance the Jive to the same song at the same time as the judges decide who the next eliminated couple will be.

Aww, Gladys I love you. Please come back and sing!

Hi, Dmitry! Nice to see you still haven't mastered the concept of a button (and, God willing, you never will). Also always love seeing Anna.

How many SYTYCD alums were on that stage tonight? Travis group had at least four, plus Adechike in the Spotlight Dance.

Tonight's elimination had absolutely no tension whatsoever; the dance-off provided a foregone conclusion. There was no way Gladys stood a chance against Roshon. I like them both, so I was bound to be displeased either way, lol. But as much as I like Gladys, I'm (relatively) glad she was the one who left and not Roshon, since Roshon was royally screwed by the judges last night. And at least Gladys acquitted herself better than Gavin did last week.

On the plus side, I love that the show is using Anna in so many of the pro numbers.

That was the right result and a classy exit.

Gotta do a fangirl SQUEEEE for Dmitry and love how much face time Anna is getting.

Still hate the troupe. Didn't like the Macy's thingy despite usually enjoying Travis Wall's stuff. Way too messy.

How the hell tacky was that to have one of the DWTS singers sing Gladys' song after she'd been eliminated ? Unless the singers had a choice of songs to sing depending upon which of the couples were eliminated, that song was obviously rehearsed in advance.

Bummer.

I have to just say... I'm glad Gladys & Tristan got one save vote from CAI. Because it was earned. While Rochon had more energy, he was all over the place, and not very synchronized with Chelsie at all. OTOH, Gladys was tight and clean. She made it a fair fight.

As charming as Gladys and Tristan are, it was time for her to go. Her dancing just was not on par with the others. It was nice to have Dmitry on again. I really wish they would bring him back to the show.

I am confused as to who the extra troupe girl was in the first number?? Or was it an old pro?? I only have watched the last 4 or 5 seasons.

Right decision tonight. Really uneventful show actually.

So will Anna be dancing with an off-duty pro every week from now on? If so, I approve.

It was nice to have a performance set to instrumental music. The show should do more of that.

The dance-off is completely useless, IMO. The producers are approaching Season 9 levels of overkill.

I knew Gladys was doomed. I don't like the dance-off or the dance marathon such as they did last night. IMO it's done to combat someone who isn't a strong performer but has a VERY strong fan base that is power-voting like crazy. (Such as Gladys.) I'm not saying they conspired to get rid of her, but let's face it, fans are were keeping her in last week and may have kept her in this week had it not been for the dance-off/marathon.

I'll miss her and Tristan . . .they're both so darned nice.

Honestly I assumed that that was a pity vote more than anything else. I'm just surprised that it came from CAI and not Len, and that they didn't do the same thing for Gavin last week. Then again, I suppose it would have been TOO obvious if the judges had given a pity vote to Gavin, since the gulf between him and Jaleel was much wider by comparison.

So far two totally un-shocking dance duel results. This is so lame. Put people who are actually on par with each other together and it might make for interesting TV. If Maria had been up against Roshon, that could have gone either way (though I'm sure Derek would come out ahead).

I know Dial Idol is far from scientific with all the online voting and such, but seeing how Gladys/Tristan were second and had almost twice as many votes as Katherine/Mark who were third I thought maybe Melissa or Maria might end up in the bottom two. Not that Gladys doesn't deserve to go based on her dancing, but I was hoping she'd last another week.

Val wasn't issued any buttons this week either. And Maks didn't have any on the pink shirt last week. If it is a money saving strategy, I'm all for it.

Well, this is pretty much what I expected when Tristan was paired with Gladys but it still sucks. I hate the dance duel. Really, show? Gladys has to dance a jive, of all things? I think it has taken a lot of the fun away from this season.

The dance to the Motown medley was an example of the other problems this season: 1. Too much Val 2. Too much Louis 3. Way too much troupe 4. Not nearly enough Tristan.

Nice bitch face on Melissa when she was put in jeopardy. There was no way golden boy Derek would have to dance in the dance duel.

Get rid of the dance duel. I think it is humiliating, like they are dancing for their supper. It is not fun to watch. But I am glad that Roshon stayed. I think CAI has a beef with Chelsea. Roshon's underscoring reminds me of Mario many seasons ago. He could not catch a break with the judges either.

What's the point of the dance duel if the viewers basically rubber stamped the judges? Roshon and Gladys had the lowest scores last night and were the bottom two tonight. The judges clearly didn't think it would be a tragedy to lose either of them, so this was pointless.

I also hate how sad the duel makes everyone. Isn't dancing supposed to be fun?

Brooke's line about the judges voting based only on that dance is ridiculous. They always score based on more than waht they see and I hate when the show pretends otherwise.

What could CAI possibly be scribbling in her notebook right before the dance-off? While I can concede that it was Gladys' time to go, I still shed some tears. Such a classy and inspiring lady. The dance-off is utter BS, though. I hate how fake the judge comments are when they wring their hands over what a horribly difficult decision it is, when you know what their choice will be before the first step is danced.

Damn I knew Gladys time was coming, that damn dreaded performing first curse continues to rear its ugly head lol. Who wants to bet that Melissa Gilbert will be the next contestant to go first next week. So does this mean that we're going to have the team dances next week? If so, good luck to the team that has four couples.

I liked Brooke showing some personality, and telling Len to give Donald and Peta a 10 before they went out to dance.

How utterly undramatic; it was so sad to see Gladys and Tristan go. This dance duel is such bullshit.

I knew it was going to be Roshon and Gladys tonite. It would have been really nice if they made it a non-elimination week, like Amazing Race does, but they have been trying to low score both these two for quite awhile .BTW, talk about a jerky rumba-WTH was that that Dmitry and Anna were doing?

I was so glad to see Maria and Derek in jeopardy.

Last night On the Red Carpet interview, Derek said that he and Maria were supposed to go first, but they changed it Monday to Gladys. Makes sense for her to kick off Motown week.

As much as I love Gladys and Tristan, with her touring starting back up, 2 dances and all, it was her time. I liked that Tristan said she kicked off the week and closed it. I do wonder if Roshon was actually the one with the least votes.

I thought it was ridiculous for CAI to give Gladys the vote. As lovely as she is, Roshon did a far superior jive. I can't imagine how she could justify that.

1) It's Carrie Ann--she rarely, if ever, makes any sense. 2) What does it matter? He stayed. The voting is all stupid.

Thanks, show. Now the one bright spot is gone. I'm left with the Chosen Ones who can do no wrong (Katherine & Mark, Cheryl & William), the Golden Boy (who gets overpraised and under-criticized all the time), the Ones I Just Don't Care About (Roshon, Jaleel and Melissa) and Donald. So....I guess I'm rooting for Donald!

Carrie Ann is already trying to defend herself on twitter. She mentioned timing issues with Roshon and Gladys being cool although not jam packed with movement, but I guess Carrie Ann doesn't think movement is all that important in a dance competition.

Now that I've had a chance to watch the dance duel twice, I completely think Carrie Ann doesn't have a leg to stand on. Roshon, while not perfect, did a really solid jive. Gladys skipped a little at the beginning, but after that I didn't see anything resembling a kick or a flick in her jive. This was a completely mismatched pair, but that's the nature of this twist. If we're doing the duel to keep the better dancer, Roshon was the clear winner. If TPTB want to keep a better entertainer/personality, they should leave power with the viewers.

Yes, they should have. I know Gladys would not have won the trophy, but so what? I enjoyed her, she is awesome, classy and timeless. So what that one or two others that can dance better than her would go home in the interim...they ain't gonna win either. I'm annoyed that I feel like they took the vote away from the audience that would have allowed us to see her a week or two more.

What possible purpose was served? No one involved can possibly think that this is a legitimate dance contest at this point....can they???? Really??? Oh, come on. Nooo...Really??!

Yes, yes, & yes. I hate the dance duel. If TPTB want the judges to pick the loser each week, then just get rid of the audience vote all together. It totally pisses me off that the judges get to over-ride the will of the voters (while we don't know who was the lowest vote getter, clearly there is that possibility). There was no surprise last night; they wanted to get rid of Gladys for the past few weeks, & their scores ensured she'd be in the bottom 2, & then they got what they wanted. Roshon seems like a nice kid but he annoys me. I agreed w/ Len that his performance Monday night was jerky & choppy; IMO Gladys had a better dance in both nights. Last night Gladys turned in a smooth jive, while Roshon was out of step w/ Chelsea & again, hurky-jerky.

They're having the duel again next week, so I guess they'll off Roshon next, as he seems to be the next on their list to go. IMO this duel has ruined results night.

You mean the show isn't "Dancing with the Young, Upcoming B-List Celebs?"

I find the Dance Duel to be hypocritical double dipping on the part of the judges.

This "duel" seems to be a rip from the Rockstar format just like The Voice added on their results show this year. On Rockstar it worked because the show was an audition for INXS and the band was not going to give total control to the TV audience over who they choose. On the other shows which picked up the round as part of their format it seems like cheating

Add me to the list of those who HATE this stupid dance duel. I get that TPTB want to try new things, and I try to keep an open mind about format changes. The duel might have been a good idea in theory but it is terrible in practice, and I hope they drop it.

I was really happy to see the other stars and dancers were also horrified by Roshon's scores. Jaleel's response to Roshon's scores moved him up down one level the "complete tool" scale for me. I suspect Roshon got a ton of support from everyone else in the cast after that.

I would guess the band had been practicing Gladys' song all along, ready to play it whenever (if ever) she got voted off, and had Roshon been sent home they would have played something else. I will miss her and Tristan terribly - she wasn't the best dancer, but she was the one that I was excited to watch each week.

As far as I'm concerned, Anna can get voted off early every single season if it means we will see her dance with another pro each week. She and Dmitry were wonderful. Maybe we will get an Anna/Tristan dance in an upcoming week.
