You can't dismiss a juror for being a hold out.
True. That's why they have mistrials/hung juries.
I remember the Tim Guinee episode--where he'd killed this woman, and she had a ring that belonged to another woman he'd killed. He was clearly flirting with the jury forewoman, and they were dating and he..got off.
But she killed him in the end, so...
The mothership had two episodes in two different seasons where a juror was flirting/would be a holdout, and Abbie and Connie were more quick on the uptake than Casey was in this one.
By the end of it, I thought the husband got what he deserved with that wife of his. I mean, I understand denial, but that's like crazy denial. Three separate guys testified they had affairs with your wife. One had no motive to lie, and her story about what happened is completely nonsensical. If you are still going to believe her, and go on with your marriage, then I think you kind of have that stuff coming to you.
For reals. Even when confronted by one of the affairs on tape, he was like, she was being forced to say those things. Really? Really
? I was going to first say what would it take, for him to see it happening? But then I remembered it did, and he still
didn't believe it.
And really, being shallow here, she was fugly. There was nothing about her, in any stereotypical look that would warrant one thinking she's telling the truth.
The one thing I'm finding very offputting whenever I watch this season is Leight showing us the rapes. The struggle, the screams, the actual...act, if you will. I much preferred it in past seasons when the cops showed up AFTER. Too pornish for me.
And I see that this show is still L&O:CILite
