Kim is smart in how she thinks about strategy. So I guess she will do something racist next so I cannot cheer for her. And hot so she will be voted next. Love how she thinks of alternate scenarios and wants to keep the good people instead of trying to kill challengers and keep goats. Ditto for Chelsea but she already did the racist thing. Pity. She looked so hot and cute today. I also have them confused half the time.
Kat is so pretty when she looks at the camera but all the magic is gone when she turns away. Funny how they talk about dead weight in front of her and nobody bats an eyelash.
The pooppantgate was hysterical and revolting. Vote him out!
Jonas. Wow. What a TC performance. I would love to see him go to FTC against Amanda. And then he votes Mike! Which is fine since he said he would but he should have rallied against Tarzan instead of randomly attacking Mike. He does get the points for his parting shot. Unnecessarily nasty and funny. Well played.
Alicia lives another day. Hate.

That being said, would like to see the (clothed) tail end of Tarzan. I would not wish to be his patient, "comfort zone" or not.
And because I'm evidently 12, "Troyzan's balls haven't moved at all!" made me giggle.

Jonas had been featured so prominently, I was really surprised to see him leave this soon. But now that he has, let's see what happens since original Salani is up 6-5 against original Manono.

I wanted Tazan to go too, but it's Survivor and the asswipes always seem to hang around the longest. I wanted Jonas to tell them they could all suck Tarzans dirty underwear if they get hungry. Someone needs to bury those things, stat.

If it is any consolation, my first thought was to see who had gotten the blue balls. And because I'm evidently 12, "Troyzan's balls haven't moved at all!" made me giggle

In a game where people who "deserve" to be in it would stay, Jonas would not have been voted off. Speaks volumes on how weak everybody else is. Okay, maybe Troy isn't weak. We need a hero for this season, and he might be the closest thing to it. He reminds me of the pilot guy from Lost and Sam Merlotte from True Blood. He seems like a nice guy, and he was smart enough to snag the hidden idol (thanks, Colton's appendix!!!) before everybody else got up. He also won individual immunity, and he and Jonas eked out a pizza reward for their team. Right now, he is The Man. Aside from Sabrina, who else fits the bill of being the hero?
Not much else to add. I'm hope Alicia gets hers soon, and I think lack of thinking helped Kat at the immunity challenge. Also, isn't it dumb to send the shortest guy out first, when his hole under a fence isn't going to be that big for the others?

I would bet they showed the final four tonight: Kim, Chelsea, Jay, Kat. Pretty sure Kim is your winner, Chelsea is your third place "you rode coattails!"er and Jay is the runner up with Tarzan's vote because he would never vote for a woman, they are for cleaning up his shit, literally.
Please stop casting unstable people and please start hiding immunity idols, show.

Tough Immunity Challenge. Very Zen.
"Troyzan's balls haven't moved in a long time." ROTFLMAO! Oh Peachy,
And he wins!!
Alicia turned it down a few notches finally.
Interesting TC.
That was stupid. Voting off the chef. In a target rich environment. At least he gets to go to TC every three days; clean and well fed.
Idiots deserve every sharp hunger pang they endure.
Jonas goes out with class.

I thought he was working with Christina; Jonas worked (not well) with Tarzan.
Ditto for Chelsea but she already did the racist thing.
What did Chelsea say that was racist?

Forgive me, enlightenedbum . . . but who the heck is Kim? I still can't tell some of these dopes apart. I'm focused on Troy on account of finding the idol and his stupid, stupid nickname.
The super tar girl who's best friends with Chelsea and found the HII last week. The one lying down while everyone came to her and asked to change the vote, which did not happen. She's also the one who said that if she got a Tribe No Clue man out, she would have a majority with either a pure women's alliance or her alliance from Team Clue.
What did Chelsea say that was racist?
Chelsea didn't say anything racist. She *did* endorse Colton and Alicia's bullying that was shown on the actual show last week, calling it "hilarious." So telling someone to jump in the fire is funny.

Nothing, you are right. She just cheered and clapped Colton and Alicia on tweeter. I didn't like that but that's bully, not racist. My apologies. What did Chelsea say that was racist?

1. Kim. Love. Her. She has thought out two alternate scenarios and has the flexibility to go either way. I like the fact that she had her head in the game at TC and said what is obvious, but which very few people have ever said: that after the merge a guy like Tarzan is an asset and a guy like Jonas is a liabilty. My prediction for the winner.
2. Jay. Also has head in the game. He was right in in his cold-eyed assessment that you stick to the plan even if it means cutting someone likeable. I think that Kim and Jay persuaded the others, who were wavering, to stick to the plan and vote for Jonas.
3. Troyzan. He had a great night. He could go far with double immunity, though I prefer to see a player win out based upon strategy and guile. Like the fact that, so far, he has not told anyone about his HII.
4. Mike. He was the obvious boot tonight. Somehow, he avoided it. He lied very convincingly to Tarzan. The ability to lie convincingly is a critical skill.
All others, no comment at this time. Tarzan can go at anytime. Does everyone now know that he is a surgeon? No one seemed surprised at his revelation. Like Chelsea, I was very grossed out by poopgate. Would not have been able to overcome my disgust for strategic reasons.

Nice move on Troyzan's part getting two idols.
Why is Tarzan still there? Nasty, senile old man.
The balls comment was hilarious. Does Probst not think about what is coming out of his mouth?
While I was hoping for Tarzan to be out tonight and Alicia out next week, I'm really glad we just didn't see or hear too much of Alicia. Let us keep it that way until she is gone.
I still don't get Jonas being a big target. What I do find amusing is that the women have two alliances going on - whatever they set up with the studs of the mens team and their own gender specific alliance. For this reason alone I think a female is going to win this... contingency plans are never a bad idea.
Despite a screaming headache from working a little too hard, every minute was just a joy knowing that Colton was gone, never to return to *this* game.

In other news Jay and Troyzan made a bad move. They easily could've got rid of a girl tonight because they knew all the girls were voting for Jonas and they could've used an idol to blindside someone.
I like the way Mike is playing actually, he's kind of a free agent and seems like a smartass. So I approve.
Next week seems interesting!

New rooting interest order:
People I'm Actually Hoping Win
1. Kim
1a. Sabrina
People I Would Be Fine With as Winners
3. Christina (did nothing this episode, so stays where she was)
4. Jay (you keep being largely anonymous, Jay)
Generally Non-Offensive People With Flaws
5. Troy (dude is cocky and doesn't have impulse control, not awful, but not super rootable yet
6. Kat (still dumb, still adorable, kind of athletic)
Meh
7. Leif (meh)
Still Think He's an Ass, But Possibly a Clever Ass?
8. Mike (he is constantly stirring shit up)
Punished for Actively Endorsing Bullying:
9. Chelsea
HOW DO THEY KEEP GETTING GROSSER
10. Alicia (a quiet episode, kudos!)
11. Shitlock Holmes (Assy, in so many ways)
And new, power rankings:
In Control
1. Kim
In Good Shape to Be Able to Win Final Immunity
2. Jay (Ahead of Chelsea because I think he wins it, and he gets a vote from Greg)
3. Chelsea
4. Kat
5. Sabrina
Wildcard
6. Troy
Pawns
7. Christina
8. Mike
9. Leif
Goats
10. Alicia
11. Greg

Look at it from Kim's perspective: she wants to create a contingency plan, so no one from her tribe should go (if they take out Mike, Jay and Troy see the writing on the wall, bail to the guys and things get bad) and a man has to go. That means Jonas, Leif, or Greg. Leif does not have a head for this game, Greg is a loose cannon who isn't stable enough to keep a plan together and is too independent to join someone else's plan, so... bye Jonas.

Agreed. I posted in the Kim thread a bit ago that she may turn out to be one of the best first-time players we've seen in a long time, if ever, and I've seen nothing yet to make me think otherwise. She's an incredibly dangerous player; it looks like others defer to her without any overt action on her part. She's not giving anyone a reason to vote her out.

It was obvious Jonas was going. "Get rid of anyone who might get more votes than me" has become the standard post-merge strategy -- because it works. So now contestants have to walk a fine line between being utter assholes whom no one will ever vote for and being too nice, too helpful and too appealing and thus, too threatening.
Right now Kim is in an excellent position and she seems smart enough to ride it to the end. Unfortunately, Tarzan will probably be around at the end too. The only good thing about that is that it's 20 more days that he won't be operating on anyone.

So how long was it that the swapped tribes existed? Four or five days? What was the point of that?

The theme song returns, to a degree! BtvsVamp
Was anybody else hoping everybody would get shown, just to see a five-second filmed shot of Colton on the ground, crying in pain? Now we gotta root for a return of "Fallen Comrades" before the challenge on Day 38, just to see that one more time. And I hope those taking the walk have nothing but bad things to say about the Boy Queen.
ETA for braggtastic . . . I think maybe both tribes were meant to go to Tribal Council in the last episode, with one tribe voting out a member. Or maybe one tribe was going to TC, and the members remaining in the game would "invade" the other camp.

I like Sabrina, but I agree with enlightenedbum that I don't think she has a chance. The two core 2 person alliances seem to be Kim/Chelsea and Troy/Jay. One of the groups could maybe use her to knock out the other group, but I don't really see her getting that far. Still, I enjoy her commentary on pizza and such!
I feel sort of bad for Jonas, but just because he made the food taste better doesn't mean they'll starve without him. The Kim/Troy/etc tribe seemed to be doing just fine with food before the merge. And I do think the fact that he was the most likable, and most competant, and seemed to have the best grasp of things made him the biggest target. But I can't feel too bad for him, because I blame him 100%. His stupid strategy of hiding behind Colton's coattails, to the extent that he actually agreed to go to an unnecessary TC might have been the largest reason he's gone now. Who knows how it would've gone if he hadn't been such an idiot.
Disappointing to hear about Chelsia laughing about the Alicia/Colton nonsense. I wish I didn't know that, because I was really liking her. Oh, well. Still like her better than Alicia and Tarzan.

Obviously they merged the tribes earlier than they planned to because of Colton. I don't remember them ever having a feast in the dark before. It gave me a good idea of just how dark it is out there, because they really couldn't tell what food and drink was there unless their faces were right on top of it. And people were feeling around for grapes and cheese. Does the crew wear night vision goggles out there? And then to randomly split barely united tribe up for a reward challenge, it really felt like they already had the challenge set up and manipulated things not to waste it.
So how long was it that the swapped tribes existed? Four or five days? What was the point of that?
I think they only pushed up the merge by 1 night -- the night of the TC where there would have been someone voted out had Colton not been evac'ed. I think if that hadn't happened, they would have merged the next day regardless.
I like Sabrina, but I agree with enlightenedbum that I don't think she has a chance. The two core 2 person alliances seem to be Kim/Chelsea and Troy/Jay. It could be interesting to see whether Sabrina or Kat lasts longer, and if one of them becomes a swing vote near the end. While Kim and Troy seem best-positioned to go far, anything can happen.

Ask Kim. She now has two paths to FTC thanks to the shuffle. Which was probably the point of the producers. Break up the original alliances a little, get someone kicked before their due time and create a couple of side alliances. So how long was it that the swapped tribes existed? Four or five days? What was the point of that?
