6.8 LKH "There must be someone left in the universe I haven't screwed up yet ! " Honestly some former companions do have it better then others.Rose Tyler got the gold. Family all survived .Got her perfect man in a half human version of ten. After sex and babies they will both grow old but hopefully die a peacefull natural death.

Martha Jones earned the silver. Family also survived.Changed jobs a few time. Ended up marrying Roses ex boyfreind Mickey Smith. Seemed happy with her lot but but sad to say goodbye to 10 before his regeneration into 11.

Donna Noble had to settle for a bronze. She lost her memories but she is still aive and happy. Loved by her mum,grandad and husband. Might even have had a child/children with him.

Don't know what will happen to the Ponds. Also too early to know who is going to be the new person in the doctors life.
However looking forward to finding out who and what they are and meeting him or her
