Who is Roshon Fegan? He's the prerequisite Disney kid of the season, one of the stars of the Disney show Shake It Up, so he's baiscally got a built-in fanbase, plus his partner is Chelsie Hightower, which means that he could go pretty far, at least to the Semi-Finals.

Ringer and I couldn't be happier about it. I need some good dancing after last season.

We'll probably see Cody Linley at some point. Roshon and Cody used to make Youtube videos together.

Total ringer. Good for Chelsie at least.

He's had a lot of dance training. Trained in ballet, went to performing arts school, but I don't know if I can see him winning considering he's basically unknown.

I'm only 22 and i've never heard of him. I at least recognized Chelsea Kane and Sabrina Bryan when they were announced.

I've never heard of him either, and I usually know the young nobodies. He better be super Kyle Massey-like charming or I don't see him sticking around regardless of how good he is. I just realized that Chelsie is the only pro this year besides the 3 newbies from last season to never make a final.

Just watched the On The Red Carpet videos and Roshon was a hoot. Looks promising.

Unfortunately, he IS NOT Kyle-like. Kyle was pleasant, funny, and charming. He is not smooth or as likable as Romeo either. He needs to tone down the rhetoric and Chelsie can't add fuel to his fire by goofing off. This is probably her best chance---she needs to reign him in and make the most of it.

Roshon can certainly move. But, didn't he seem to take over the lead on the dance floor? Isn't that Chelsie's job as a pro?

He'll do well if he can get the votes. But he needs to allow Chelsie to lead HIM.

Roshon's the guy, and the guy is traditionally supposed to lead. That said, I can't really comment on his leading skills because I know nothing about that, haha.

NOT for this competition. The pros should lead. He took over way too much.

Yes, even for this competition, I think, even though it hardly ever happens. IIRC, the judges have occasionally complimented a male celeb for genuinely leading his pro (or seeming to, anyway) around the floor. If Roshon has already picked that up, then that's good on him. ("If" being the operative word, of course.)

I felt an air of arrogance from him. I don't know if anyone will agree, but something rubbed me the wrong way about him tonight. Like almost "too" confident.

I agree with this. I like his moves, but his personality, not so much. I think he'd be okay if he just took it down a notch or two.

Maybe Roshon has that Aaron Carter attitude?

He has got attitude. We'll see, right now I'm not feeling him. He can move but this "my generation" business can end before it begins. Chelsie needs to wise up, that stuff is off-putting.

The "my generation" stuff is so stale - Lance Bass, Chelsea Kane (I think) and too many others said this. I think much of it is put in their mouths by TPTB. I was more annoyed by his dancing, which looked like random writhing with no connection to his partner.

I agree about his first dance. It reminded me a little of Kyle and Lacey's first dance, and though Roshon is by far the better dancer, I still missed Kyle. I worry about this pairing, a little bit. I understand pairing him with the youngest looking pro, but I don't know if Chelsie is a strong enough personality/teacher to give him the reigning in that I think he might need.

Maybe Roshon has that Aaron Carter attitude?

I hope he won't be that bad. He's a bit too eager, and has the big-fish-small-pond syndrome that was present in Disney Channel "Stars" from seasons past, but I didn't see any of the desperation that Aaron had.

Pretty much this. I really don't agree with the comparisons to Aaron Carter, mainly because I felt that "desperation" was AC's main thing.

I see Roshon being a "surprise" elimination a la Sabrina. His personality seems to be similarly polarizing, and if Chelsie and he keep up the whole "we're young and edgy" shtick, it'll get old.

That said, I enjoyed his cha cha. But the cha cha is one of those dances where I don't mind seeing that hip hop flavor. I just hope he doesn't bust it out for all of the other dance styles.

Roshon is talented, but in a pool of great dancing. He's coming in with a smaller fan base than some.

But I see him in the same pool with William and Katherine of people being not well known, but I think Katherine and William made better impressions than him. I can see him getting lost in the shuffle, unless the judges start pulling some "Hines Ward"-like praise for him, telling him that he's amazing every week and refusing to give him less than an 8 from here on out, like they did with Hines.

Hi everyone. I am new to Dancing with the Stars (this is the first season I am following closely), but I think Roschon is talented, however like PBGamer89 his small fan base may mean that he wont get the votes and be eliminated. I did not think he had an "attitude" he seems like a fun guy.

I like Roshon & Chelsie. Their cha-cha was fun and energetic. Roshon has a bit of an attitude, but since it was the first episode, I'll let it slide, for now. Roshon may be a bit cocky, but when it comes to annoying, IMO he doesn't hold a candle to Sherri Shepherd.

Roshon & Chelsie did great. Their quickstep was one of the highlights of the week. It was fun, elegant and charming. Roshon used his swagger to his advantage. He refocused his hip-hop energy into the quickstep and it paid off. IMO Roshon didn't belong in the Bottom 3 because he not only knew his steps, he kicked ass doing them, unlike someone else I know (cough: Sherri: cough). If Roshon keeps up the great work, he'll go far. As for Roshon's odds of making the Finals, I think he could. Why? Two words: Kyle Massey. When Kyle started on DWTS, he was a virtually unknown Disney Channel star like Roshon, but he made the F3 anyway. If he can make it, then so can Roshon.

Well, Kyle and Roshon are in different situations.

Kyle was the best male star in his season and came from next to no dance background so he didn't have a ringer label attached to him. Aside from Brandy and Jennifer, he was the next best dancer.

Roshon is in a field where there's at least 3 or 4 people as good as him, if not better, and he doesn't benefit from being known as the best male of the season. It's very early, but based on name and dance abilities of the others, he's gonna have a fight to get to the finals.

Re Roshon & Kyle, while there are some differences, my point is that re Kyle, while he was stuck in the "Disney Kid" role with many voters at first, the more he danced, the more he improved and the more popular he became and I think that the same could happen for Roshon. While Roshon does have other male contestants with potential (Jaleel White, Donald Driver & possibly William Levy, to be specific) to deal with, if he manages to get past the last two and reach the Finals, I not only wouldn't be suprised, I think it would be richly deserved.
