He's had a lot of dance training. Trained in ballet, went to performing arts school, but I don't know if I can see him winning considering he's basically unknown.
I'm only 22 and i've never heard of him. I at least recognized Chelsea Kane and Sabrina Bryan when they were announced.

He'll do well if he can get the votes. But he needs to allow Chelsie to lead HIM.

Yes, even for this competition, I think, even though it hardly ever happens. IIRC, the judges have occasionally complimented a male celeb for genuinely leading his pro (or seeming to, anyway) around the floor. If Roshon has already picked that up, then that's good on him. ("If" being the operative word, of course.)NOT for this competition. The pros should lead.

I felt an air of arrogance from him. I don't know if anyone will agree, but something rubbed me the wrong way about him tonight. Like almost "too" confident.
I agree with this. I like his moves, but his personality, not so much. I think he'd be okay if he just took it down a notch or two.

I hope he won't be that bad. He's a bit too eager, and has the big-fish-small-pond syndrome that was present in Disney Channel "Stars" from seasons past, but I didn't see any of the desperation that Aaron had.Maybe Roshon has that Aaron Carter attitude?

Pretty much this. I really don't agree with the comparisons to Aaron Carter, mainly because I felt that "desperation" was AC's main thing.I didn't see any of the desperation that Aaron had.
I see Roshon being a "surprise" elimination a la Sabrina. His personality seems to be similarly polarizing, and if Chelsie and he keep up the whole "we're young and edgy" shtick, it'll get old.
That said, I enjoyed his cha cha. But the cha cha is one of those dances where I don't mind seeing that hip hop flavor. I just hope he doesn't bust it out for all of the other dance styles.

But I see him in the same pool with William and Katherine of people being not well known, but I think Katherine and William made better impressions than him. I can see him getting lost in the shuffle, unless the judges start pulling some "Hines Ward"-like praise for him, telling him that he's amazing every week and refusing to give him less than an 8 from here on out, like they did with Hines.

Kyle was the best male star in his season and came from next to no dance background so he didn't have a ringer label attached to him. Aside from Brandy and Jennifer, he was the next best dancer.
Roshon is in a field where there's at least 3 or 4 people as good as him, if not better, and he doesn't benefit from being known as the best male of the season. It's very early, but based on name and dance abilities of the others, he's gonna have a fight to get to the finals.
