I like the genderbending look this girl has. She's unique, eye-catching (in a good way I think) and very pretty. Not many white/mixed girls could pull off the shaved head and look that stunning doing it. She could easily do both mens and womens shows and be able to pull most of them off (at least to my rather inexperienced eye). I could be in the minority here.

I personally love the tats, but I had the same concern when I saw her. Modeling is about selling shit to people. Not appealing to the average consumer in a concern, and those tats will turn a lot of people off.

This girl has a really cool look - edgy. The tattoos work for her. One of my faves from the American girls. Reminds me a bit of Jenny Shimizu in spirit. If AzMarie's not a lesbian, she should consider being one for professional reasons. Kidding.

The only thing I dislike as much as her name (really, why is she called AssMarie?) is her bald head. I know it's supposed to be hip and confrontational for colored girls or whatever, but it's really dated. The look has been done to death on ANTM - Cycle 1 Ebony onwards. It's a shame because even without the bald head her features are visually stunning. I think she'd look awesome in some crazy weave looking like a variation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

I'm half wondering if she's either transgendered or transexual? She can certainly pull off the male attitude perfectly and reminds me strongly of Andrej Pejic with the highly androgynous side. If she can pull it off, I wouldn't be surprised if she "caught on" because of the exposure the show is giving her.

The moment I saw her I questioned whether she was a Reverse Isis, or an extreme tomboy. Either way, she's quite handsome. "Well, you have to admit, she is rather mannish."

Doubt it. She mentioned that she was a lesbian. So I gather from that statement that she identifies as female, even though she is rather masculine. She's one of my favourites so far. I love her look and her attitude (although it's hard to judge that right now, or ever maybe) I also love that Laura has a thing for her.

I don't mind her shortening "Ashley Marie" into "AzMarie." It actually sounds pretty nice to me. After all, Melissa Rose condensed her name into "Melrose" in cycle seven, and it worked out pretty well.

Because AzMarie has nowhere as many tats as Micheline. Especially key is that giant ass tat Micheline has on her chest.

Silly you trying to find continuity from cycle to cycle! AzMarie got picked because this cycle Tyra things tattoos are okay. Or because Tyra will proceed to make AzMarie pay for getting tattoos even though she wants to be a model. She'll probably get eliminated for it.

I really like her look. She reminds me a lot of Gin Clarke, who was a background actress in The Fifth Element (and as it turns out, was also a model for Gaultier in the mid-90s).

I don't really see the tattoos as being that big of an issue. Obviously they will be a problem for print work, but I feel like lately we're seeing a lot more models on the runway with tattoos and piercings (men especially, I've noticed guys with gauged ears). Just depends which market she wants to pursue.

This show has gotten so boring and formulaic. Azmarie basically told Tyra that her "teach" was stupid, which is something I have been hoping for forever! I just don't care enough about this cycle to get excited about it though.
