I guess when professional stigma in only one continent just isn't enough, Tyra can hook a girl up.
She had a nasty personality. Foul even.
I haven't seen BNTM. But it seems the bitch has already been brought-en.
And geez, someone should just start a models4musicians.com dating site already.

I don't know anything about her personality though, but if she's the bitchy kind of bitchy (as opposed to the insane kind of bitchy we've been getting lately) then it might be fun to have her around.

She is kind of bitchy but I must admit I quite liked her on BNTM. I think she just came off as really not thinking about what she was saying and the way it would come across and just talked indiscriminately to the other girls and in confessionals as though she were talking to her best friends. I think she will have realised how she came across and either go with it and be the bitch or tone it down.
Her pictures on BNTM weren't that great, but she consistently won challenges.

I can see the Courtney resemblance, although I think Sophie is more attractive. I didn't care for Courtney's personality, though, so I hope the resemblance is skin deep.I get a massive Courtney Yates (from Survivor) vibe

Yes! Sophie felt vaguely familiar while I was watching the episode and that is totally why. She was my favorite out of the BNTM girls just based off of looks, but if she is half the hilarious bitch Courtney was then she will be an all time favorite.

I can see how it's a far better opportunity for the UK girls, who all seem a bit bigger and a bit older than the US girls. Representation in both New York and LA, plus the Covergirl gig, is a pretty good starting position for these girls, given that they're all the wrong side of 17. I'm guessing the commercial work available in the US is better paid than that in the UK.She absolutely cracked me up when she said "ANTM is the key to getting into that market". UH? You can't be serious...

I'm not sure what she hopes to get other than the CG thing and really, when's the last cycle that even seemed to amount to anything?

Covergirl seems to have worked out well for Nicole over the last two and a half years at least, so we know it can happen.

And I'm perfectly fine with that, because she's turning out to be quite awesome.

BNTM isn't any more immune to people playing "characters" for the camera than ANTM is. I always got the sense Sophie was playing a character then, and I still do, except she's moderated it a bit (and gotten reasonably favorable editing too), to skew more towards hilarious and irreverent, vs. "bitch".She was a bit of a nightmare on BNTM IMO. But she seems to have matured as you would expect anyone to over a period of years.
You can sense her tongue planted firmly in her cheek whenever they have a talking head where she's supposed to sound vaguely anti-American. Then, later in the same episodes, you can clearly see her clinging to Laura, for example, who she's clearly become out-of-editing-context buddies with.
