Did not feel sorry for Lydia. At all. She wanted to rekindle her friendship with Victoria, but continued to sleep with Conrad and wasn't above using blackmail to get her way. She didn't exactly deserve being thrown off the balcony, but she totally deserved Victoria's elaborate kiss-off.

She's lucky she's beautiful because she's probably the most idiotic character on the show.

It was good to see in the latest episode with the 2002 flashbacks how and when Lydia got involved with Conrad (it was clearly a serious long-term affair) and more importantly why she sold out David Clarke, it was because she had "Feelings" for Conrad Grayson and she wanted to protect him from his well deserved life-sentence that he should've got. Anyway I wonder how long before she'll make a new appearance to complicate Emanda's plans once she finally regains her memory.

Wow. Selling out David Clarke for your best friend's husband and having an affair with him for TEN YEARS behind your husband's back, then playing the victim when said husband leaves you for another woman?! Lydia really is a two-faced bitch.

Spartan Girl, Lydia isn't the only two-faced bitch there's also QV and her equally hypocritical fury at Conrad's affair with Lydia when she herself had not only had a serious affair with David Clarke before betraying him, she also conceived and gave birth to her daughter Charlotte where David was the father. I thought Mason's comment about Janus the two-faced god in the last episode was quite apt, it not only describes Lydia and QV but maybe they should adopt Janus as their patron deity.

Anyway how long do you think it'll be before Lydia fully regains her memories and not only remembers about Emanda but the fact that Frank was the one who pushed her off the roof of her apartment building?

Is there any indication as of episode 2.1 whether or not Lydia is definitely dead?

In 2.2, Conrad says Lydia died in the plane explosion, so I think she might be really gone. If anybody stays dead on this show.

So it appears that she's really dead (I wonder what Conrad thinks of that and if he really does miss her?)

Good point, so we should keep our fingers crossed about her "Death".

Do you think Ashley is turning into Lydia v2.0?

He knew she was going to betray him so I think that's a 'no.' He doesn't seem as sentimental as Victoria.

Well, Conrad only knows what Victoria tells him, and they're not exactly 100% honest with one another.

I would not be surprised if by mid-season Lydia shows up with some explosive evidence against Conrad she was hiding for Victoria/WHM/whoever...

I know Lydia is not a good person by any stretch of the imagination, but she was always endearing to me because she was constantly being played by smarter, more ruthless people.

He knows she was on the plane that blew up (probably) and that plane was for the purpose of screwing Conrad.
