According to that, Elliot is part of a band called ENOVA. Per their FB page: ENOVA's first single "Counterpart" produced by Micah Wilshire ... will be premiered on the upcoming CBS reality show "The Amazing Race" on February 19th 2012. Elliot is also a contestant on the show with twin brother.
ENOVA's Web site shows that they have a whopping 54 fans, with a total of 671 visits, including mine. I'm betting that they're counting on TAR to boost those numbers.
Here's hoping they're the first ones gone. What's wrong with having regular, normal people who don't give a damn about show biz in things like TAR and Survivor? Tired of wannabes.
The twin evidently plays (or played) for the San Diego Earthquakes.
PS: While I'm not thrilled about TAR promoting Weber's band, I have to say I was relieved that it was a plain old secular rock band. Scottsdale is home to at least two super-evangelical music publishing houses that I know of, and a very strong stream of that sort of music. When I saw "Scottsdale" I was afraid we had our season's Godbotherers.

Found him. Back-up goalkeeper for the Earthquakes for the past three seasons. Only started a couple of MLS games during that time, both back in 2009. He''s currently in pre-season camp with the Seattle Sounders as an unsigned player, trying to latch on as their backup keeper. He made it through the penultimate cut. One more cut to go and he makes the squad.
When was this race actually filmed? While the Quakes didn't make the playoffs last year, the regular season ran until October.

I wonder what team Andrew plays for.
Am I the only one whose mind went to sexual orientation upon reading this?

No, you're not, graytex. I only just realized after reading your post that wasn't the question. (Yes, I feel stupid now.)
Nope, I immediately thought the same thing. Whoops.

Wait, do we know they're alpha-males? Or them being young, relatively fit, and male automatically makes them so? It's just tough for me to see a member of a rock band as alpha. One of the few alpha-male teams in the show's entire history I actually find myself liking early on.

And next week's preview with them at that harp task doesn't seem to do them any favors, either.

yeah, I don't seem them as "alpha-male" at all - at all! Brendan and the Border Patrol guys are more alpha-male than these two.Wait, do we know they're alpha-males? Which surprised me since one of them is in a band - and of course I'm assuming that he plays a guitar haha! Which is probably totally wrong. And next week's preview with them at that harp task doesn't seem to do them any favors, either.

CBS's extra TAR clips had one of them - at the end of the first leg, they left their car keys on the table where they had been eating. When they started this leg, they had to find the car keys before they could leave (and one of them remembered having them last while eating, so it didn't take forever). Just not horribly responsible.
Guess it's more that I don't get a sense that they really care. They're just sort of ... there.

I always got the impression that if you don't get much air time in the beginning it's because you hang around for a while. I can see these two in the middle of the pack for a while. Either that, or they're really boring and the editors are using time on drama instead.Seriously, did these guys insult a producer's mother or something? They've really gotten the shaft in the editing.
It was fun to see the soccer brother - Andrew?? Hit the ball around with the greeter.

For the first four or five legs, I always feel like there are teams that don't get enough air time, but the only way to fix that would be to have the show run for 1.5 hours until a third of the teams were gone, and then cut back to one hour episodes. I think that would be awesome, but the network probably wouldn't like it.

However, it could also be the other side of the coin -- that they're going out early and the editors don't feel like they should get much attention until their boot episode. Teams like Kate & Pat, Marianna & Julia, Anthony & Stephanie, Brad & Victoria, Marcy & Ron, Monique & Shawne, Katie & Rachel, and Kaylani & Lisa, all of whom got the chop pretty early in their respective seasons, can all attest to that.NYC2007

I like these two, so I hope it's the former scenario, but the latter is always possible, too.

Shame, though. They were one of the few alpha-male teams in the show's entire history that I actually liked. But they were poor racers, which is a fairly refreshing change for an alpha-male team.
But man. Twin teams have very rarely done well. I think only Derek & Drew and Kami & Karli have gone far. Shola & Doyin, Liz & Marie, and now, Elliot & Andrew have all been early boots.
