"Charade" - The Graysons' 25th wedding anniversary is a less than celebratory occasion when their desire to lay low is interrupted with a high profile story in the paper and a volatile family dinner featuring unwanted guests; the fate of Lydia hangs heavy over everyone, and Frank, desperate to prove his steadfast loyalty to Victoria, digs deep into Emily's past and uncovers too much, on "Revenge."

It's hard to pick a favorite episode but I really love this one. StripperKiller! Tylenol hook up! Declan embarrasses Emanda at dinner! Good times.

The one bad thing is that this is last we see of hot!Frank. The fact though that the show was willing to kill of someone who had been fairly important over the last six episodes showed that the Revenge writers were willing to kill off great characters if it served the larger story.

I loved this episode. The Real Emily and Amanda reunited, thanks to Frank. Can't wait for the freaking fireworks to happen.

I felt bad that Frank had to die but I just knew he was a goner in this episode for snooping around.

I didn't actually expect Lydia to wake up so soon or actually at all but another nice surprise.

Conrad and Victoria, do us all a favour and bloody divorce each other please. 25 years of a sham.

Ashley wanting to be Victoria made her go down in my estimation, not sure why.

Tyler and Nolan was unexpected a little, but at least 'Emily' has somthing on Tyler now.

Both Jack, Daniel and Declan had their minus moments in this episode. I think Charlotte's too nice for Declan. 9/10

I thought it might be nice to have a reference, especially for new viewers, so here's a link back to the earlier discussion about this episode, before the forum was split into multiple threads:
1-7: "Charade" discussion starts here.

Kudos to the first poster who decided to call the new character Amily, in keeping with everyone in the thread having called our main character Emanda for the first six episodes. You would think these names would be confusing, but I actually find this MUCH easier than when people say "faux Amanda" or "real Emily" -- in those cases I have to stop and think about who they mean!

I decided to take advantage of On Demand to start rewatching episodes. This was the earliest episode available to me last night, so I watched it again. What a great episode, so many things coming together, plus the requisite Holy Crap! moment when Tyler came on to Nolan. (Tyler + Nolan was a great scene anyway, probably one of my favorites.)

Watching it in retrospect, it was nice to see Amily come on the scene. I remember worrying that she'd ruin the show somehow, and then she became one of my favorite characters. Awesome episode all around.

Do you mean you thought Amily would ruin the show for Emanda by exposing her?

Is this the episode where Amily murders Frank? Frank's murder was the first major character death on the show... even Lydia managed to survive the fall from her balcony and with convenient amnesia to boot.

It's in some ways unfortunate that we know that Emanda isn't exposed before the final episode of the Season (if then), because as soon as Frank found out, we knew he couldn't survive (well, unless he suffered from Convenient Amnesia). Loved the "You look like a cop" "So do you!" exchange. But even though I knew Frank would die, I really wasn't expecting Amily to take him out with the tyre iron, but rather expecting her to turn on our heroine(?). Still was a little surprised that Emanda had the Governor on her side.

Also, nice to see that Emanda became a Badass in Juvie when she took down her (supposedly) Badass cellmate in a couple of seconds.

As for the other characters, I'm glad we got some clarification on why Tyler was such a dick about Emanda (he wants Daniel to himself). Meanwhile, we have Declan who's a dick purely because he's an idiot teenager.
