I wonder if she'll come back when Emanda hooks up with Jack to kick-start her own roaring rampage of revenge.

I agree. When she says, "I'd do anything for you" to Emanda, I believe her, but if Emanda was to say it...well, let's put it this way, I'd be expecting her to say it while hugging someone and then behind that person's back we'd see her dead eyes. And she seems to have real emotional connections with Jack and Emanda.
At times Amily got on my nerves--she is a little rough around the edges--but now that she's gone, I feel like I'm starting to miss her.
I have a feeling we'll see her again at some point. Not right away, but the fact that she isn't dead certainly means she has an opportunity to resurface.

Also, she's gorgeous and didn't realize until last night.

"In cashe you haven't notished? I do things on my on termzsh."
I do not think this is a speech impediment; I think it's the actress's attempt to be "sheckshy" and it drives me up a wall.

Amily's 'accent' is barely noticeable to me. I love how fire-y and volatile she is compared to the oh-so-deliberate Emanda. Both damaged, just in different ways.

I hope she comes back. I'm afraid if she does she'll be the loopy crazy ass Amily, but I was actually enjoying her more fun going times with Jack, and I do think she deserves to be happy. I'd prefer Amily with Jack and Emanda with Daniel tbh.

From the promo, Amily is in the next episode (1x14 "Perception"), so she never really went anywhere!

She was also chosen as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in New York by New York Magazine.

She agreed to the identity change.
She KNEW that this was a dangerous situation Emily was in - heck, she killed Frank.
She barged in where she wasn't wanted, despite Emily's warnings.
And her involvement with Jack - she's carrying on as if Emily has deprived her of her One True Love. But Jack's "love" for her is based upon the fact that he thinks she's someone he knew as a CHILD.

ITA. I came really close to feeling sorry for her in that episode when it was obvious that it was killing her to keep lying to Jack, until I remembered that nobody forced her to tell him she was Amanda Clarke in the first place. And I think she did do that primarily to get Emanda's goat.

She got close to Jack at first primarily to act out against Emanda, but I also get the feeling that in a way, she wants to be Amanda Clarke. She's quite volatile, emotionally or othewise, and she acts like Emanda is her idol, and it's not uncommon to want to be the person you adore. Plus, she's been playing at being Amanda Clarke anyway. When Emanda wasn't appreciative enough to her liking, and when Jack walked in, Amily probably thought, Why the hell not?I like Amily, but if she wants to be loyal to Emanda ("you know I would do anything for you"), why did she get involved with Jack? Didn't she anticipate that problems would arise when she got into a relationship with Emanda's childhood love (whom Emanda talked about at lengths when they were in juvie)?
But of course things have changed now because she's properly fallen for him. It's easy to see why she would--being with Jack would feel like something she never imagined she could have--but probably at the same time she'd be constantly asking herself whether Jack would've liked her if she wasn't Amanda. Yes, they got together whe he didn't think she was Amanda, but I doubt they would've been able to maintain a long relationship without that (false) knowledge. She's beautitful and fun and she wanted him when Emily Thorne didn't, so Jack would've been more than receptive toward her, but Jack forgives a lot of her wild and difficult behaviours because she's led a tough life and because she's Amanda Clarke, his childhood crush/best friend. In a long run, it'd been difficult to maintain their relationship as more than a fling without her disguise.
I do find it interesting (and maybe a little sad) that at first the threat of Jack finding out the truth and not forgiving her for all the lies was enough to silence Amily and make her follow Emanda's plan, but now, she seems to willing to risk Jack finding out because she can't watch Jack hurting so much. Amily is a murderer and not exactly an innocent victim in all this (that label probably only applies to Charlotte and Jack), but I do feel bad for her. She and Emanda and all the others deserve so much better than the childhood they got, and now, look at all of them.

It makes me mad sometimes that "Emily" just seems to treat her like a pawn. This girl and Jack are her only true friends from her past. And all she does is use her and screw her over.
I hope she doesn't get killed anytime soon; she has great energy and always livens things up.

Smart, but too impulsive to plan things out. Cold, but deep down has a heart that just wants to feel loved and protected. Needy, but is always a survivor when she has to. Neurotic, but sometimes she can let go of her obsessions and think about the bigger picture. Damaged to the core, but she can be a fun girl that loves adventure and has a less serious and uptight uproach to life.
She's super volatile, lives life carelessly but its the way she wants to live. She worships Emanda who she loved as a friend, doing almost anything and everything to make her happy, but she seems to have found a desire to get her own life back. Maybe Jack was the catalyst, she finally met a guy that fell in love with her, technically, made her feel wanted, special even. The fact that she felt guilty about lying and manipulating him says a lot about her true nature.
I also love how she's a loose cannon on this show, totally unpredictable, we never know what she's gonna do next, we never know what her reaction is gonna be. She can go with the flow in one minute, or go against the current immediately after.

And her "great love affair" is based on a lie and Jack's delusion about his childhood friend. IMHO, she's being as ridiculous as Lydia was.

What got me past her killing Frank was that she saw him a danger to Emanda more than herself.
You could see Amily snap out of Tyler's little spiel when he revealed Emanda had pinned Frank's murder on him. She may not like what this dual life has her in the middle of right now, she is discovering Emanda hasn't told her everything - but she knows its not like Emanda didn't come up with a very clever way of distracting all attention of her murdering Frank away from her.
The character has grown on me, she burnt through Emanda's money, didn't come looking for her for a handout, she still kept up her end of the switch. She's out of control, but she does have a moral center - she protects the people she cares about - loyalty means something to her, love (Jack as someone she loves, Emanda who she loves like her only family) means something to her, money and status don't motivate her. It will be interesting to see how the other revelations (e.g. being framed for the Treadwell arson...) will play out in Amily's dealings with Takeda and and Emily going forward.

Her concern for Emily is touching too and I want Emily to treat her better in future episodes.
