The new season started Friday night and we get another girl, Kelsey, from Tuscaloosa, who is looking for her man.
Collin, from the first season (Devin's), is there again. Such a varied group of guys but Alex, the used car salesman, should be sent packing PDQ. I'm not surprised the guy with the pet raccoon was sent home. That's a wild animal that can still be unpredictable. I hate the politico/Obama supporter was sent home due to 'their differences.' It came across from Kelsey, and by the reception the country guys gave this guy, that all Southern people are Republicans. Newsflash: we're just like the rest of the country, in that, we have individual opinions about politics and it wasn't an automatic dismissal in my mind because he was "A Liberal!" Oh well, I'm sure he'll find someone who is much prettier and with whom he'll have many intellectual conversations.

Producers, please know that no matter how many times you tell the guys to describe Kelsey as "stunning" and "gorgeous" we still have two eyes to see for ourselves. I'm not saying she won't turn out to be an intelligent and perfectly nice person....but all I saw was a very average, cock-eyed, buck-toothed twenty something.
Not to say the guys looked any better. Most appeared to have some sort of undiagnosed syndrome.

Im laughing at undiagnosed syndrome, lol.
This Dylan guy is really ugly. I love the California surfer dude. He should do modeling, maybe he does. She is hot for him. But he is only 22 and totally not ready to settle down.

Geez, Kelsey never has anything new to say, does she? She's honest...and simple (and she says both a lot) and not much else.
First of all, she is pretty blunt when eliminating the guys. Apparently she has nothing else to say to them except buh-bye cause she's being honest and all. And secondly, speaking of honesty, I'm going to be very honest when I say I totally agree with her when she says she's "simple." I don't think she can be anymore simple. I'm hoping none of these guys really ends up with her because there's not much to her at all. I don't find her attractive either, bless her heart.
She acted like such a dumb ditz on the camping and glamping dates. For her to be scared of trying a bite of cooked rabbit, Buffalo mozzarella, and basil?!?! Please girl, basil is nothing new here in the South. I promise I grew up with it but have no idea how she has avoided it until now. Buffalo mozzarella is just cheese. Of those two dates, I'd have loved Emilio's RV because I do not like to do without indoor plumbing and air conditioning. lol Plus, I love Italian food. But he comes across as too foul-mouthed due to him being constantly bleeped and I hate the greasy, slick-backed hair. He's smarmy. I would've liked Justin's date except I just couldn't go for eating Thumper. He seems like such a nice guy but he'd be too Country for me.
I felt bad for the TN Sawmill chainsaw guy. He seems so cutely awkward but needs someone less awkward than himself and that's not Kelsey. I really wanted to see the finished chair he wanted to make for her "future 1st grade class." UGH!
The Virgin Guy bailed without saying anything to her? That was a chicken move, dude. If you hold your morals in such high regard (which is admirable), and your feelings for her were real, you should've told her why you decided to bolt. Plus, he totally fell for Emilio's innuendoes, which is exactly what Memo wanted (that's the smarmy in him).

Ok, I'm now seriously pulling for ALL of the guys to NOT end up with vacant Kelsey. I don't care which guy is the losing-est loser of the bunch, all of them can do so much better. If I called her an idiot once, I did it at least a dozen times during last night's show. She drives me nuts at how stupid her responses are during every awkward conversation. To not express any semblance of empathy or sympathy when the pilot (can't remember his name because I think I've seen him all of two times now) told her he'd lost three close friends this year, I was blown away how she just left him hanging. I've come to believe her vocabulary consists of less than 50 words, and that's a crazy generous estimate.
I want all of the guys to run away during the same night, to be free and not have to fake it with Dipshit Kelsey.
To add: the way she uses such a broad brush to paint all Southerners to be as ignorant and shallow as she is embarrasses me.

My power went out because of a storm, and I did not see who else was eliminated besides Tom. Was anyone else sent home last night?

I'm liking Nate. He's the best looking guy there, to me, has a lot going on and so deserves a girl at least equal to him...and that's not Dipshit Kelsey.
She annoys me greatly when she's asked how she's doing when the guys go see her on the truck bed, but she never asks the guys. I think that's rude and illustrates how self-centered she is and her lack of conversational skills.
Not surprised to see Emilio & Jared go, I just couldn't see what they thought they saw in her...or any of the guys, for that matter. They've all got to be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, pure and simple, because Kelsey isn't a catch in any way. Regarding Jared's boot, it seemed like such a pity move for her to give him her necklace and go on and on about wanting to stay a part of his life. He'll do just fine and hopefully won't look back on this experience as anything but a push to 'put himself out there.'
I honestly (tmKelsey) don't see any of these guys having a real connection with her, nor vice versa.

I still feel Nate has too much going on and will be extremely bored by Kelsey so I hope he's not the last man standing, and I do agree with his opinion that Collin had a 'backup plan' gf at home up until Collin thought he had a chance to be chosen by Kelsey. That last minute phone call to end it proved that.
I can't say anyone chosen by her would be a winner because they wouldn't be winning anything, but since Collin's been down this road before, he's well versed in how it goes. He really didn't sound sincere while telling her Mom that he had fallen in love with her. I had to laugh when she and Collin were on their date and she spouted her fantasy was to do what they were doing (making out in a box car while laying up in itchy hay with a basket of green apples nearby).
I want Nate to go free. Collin will dump Kelsey before she has a chance to tell him to 'give me a hug.'

Yes, Nate is free! I seriously don't think Collin will stick around long enough to put a ring on her finger. Run, Collin, run!
I had to see this train wreck through, now that it's done, so am I. This was a very boring season.
