Lost Shout Outs: Down the Rabbit Hole

ReverseFleckerl suggested having a separate thread for these so we don't clog up the discussion for fairy tale shout outs in the regular Easter Eggs, Allusions, & References thread (good call since not all the OUaT viewers are former Lost fans).
We already had the eyeball closeup & Regina's house number is 108. If a smoke monster shows up, I might lose it. Vincent is welcome to make an appearance though.

The clock in Storybrooke was also stuck at 8:15, like Oceanic flight 815.

Just quickly. Emma's room number at granny's? 4.

I was wondering that, too.Is there any reason why this should be a separate thread from the existing shout-outs thread?

What, the entire world did not watch "Lost!?"
Seriously?
Is it anal of me to worry about Once Upon a Time lasting for 6 or 7 years? Henry will age.
What will they do have a aging spell cast upon him? Or have him kidnapped because he's special?

Henry will look like he aged because of puberty. Do I really have to explain this? I see it being a problem, his age, if the show last 7 seasons.

Very reminiscent of LOST--usually Jack was in the middle. I don't know if it counts as an Easter egg, but it felt like a little cinematographic nod at least.

Also, getting caught in a booby trapped net seemed like a nod to Rousseau's traps.

Also, characters saying the same lines in the flashbacks and in present-day, though this show is a bit more clunky when it does this.

In season 1, we found the hatch midway through season 1...which was what season 2 was all about.
In season 2, Ben Linus appears...which leads to the "others" season 3.

After finding out that John Doe had moved Henry shouts 'We have to go back!'.
That was all i needed.
I can't believe I missed that. And I call myself a LOST fanatic. Somebody slap me.

James ;) and Snow giving him the nickname "Charming". Very Sawyer-esque!
James's Storybrooke "wife's" name is Kathryn, too.

If you look really closely at the scene at Henry's seaside castle, they pan to the direction of the lighthouse and to the left of it looks like the statue from lost off in the distance.

For those, like me, who never made it past six or seven episodes of Lost, the ABC website for OUAT has listed the following shout outs to ABC's Lost
In “The Pilot”: Before Emma decides to stay in Storybrooke, the town's clock tower is stuck at 8:15. Show creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz both worked on ABC's LOST, which followed the survivors of the crash of Oceanic flight 815. Emma's car has a Geronimo Jackson bumper sticker. That's a reference to a fictional band whose hit song "Dharma Lady" was featured on LOST.
In “The Thing You Love Most”: When Regina is staring at the clock tower, the time ticks to 8:23. 23 is a reference to Jack Shephard's number on LOST. Emma's room number at Granny's Bed & Breakfast is 4. The number 4 is a reference to John Locke's number on LOST.
In "Snow Falls": On their date, Dr. Whale asks Mary Margaret, "So you were saying something about wanting 15 kids?" 15 is a reference to Sawyer's number on LOST.
In “The Price of Gold”: Regina mentions that Emma lived in Tallahassee for 2 years. This is a reference to the LOST episode, "The Man from Tallahassee."

OUAT would not be complete without having a flashback episode in Boston with Richard Belzer guest starring as New York Detective John Munch.
That is pretty funny! I can see it now!
I agree that they should stand on their own merits, and I believe that they have.
As a Lost fan, I do appreciate them putting their unobtrusive easter egg signature on this newly twisted unique show, as a tribute or just as a game of sorts. ;)
We in the fairytale world seem to love riddles and games!
There are few Lost references because Once seems to have enough of their own! :)

My favorite Lost episode. *sigh* Tallahassee actually is mentioned at least one other time in Lost, as a euphemism for an STD.In “The Price of Gold”: Regina mentions that Emma lived in Tallahassee for 2 years. This is a reference to the LOST episode, "The Man from Tallahassee."
The list doesn't include one of the more obvious shout-outs from the pilot--Regina & Henry's house number is 108. That's the sum of the recurring numbers from the show: 4 8 15 16 23 42, characters had to push a button every 108 minutes in season 2, and it shows up in the hatch painting and the lighthouse wheel. And probably other places.
