Agreed. The way they keep kind of forcing the "deep moments" between Dolvett and John (this season) makes me worry.

I feel like you are possibly too late on this one. He seems so earnest and needy. Not healthy when your trainer needs you as much as you need him. This whole "building a close and trusting relationship" thing he obsesses over is like backwards transference. I love how he looks, I love when he smiles, but he could be as unhealthy as Bob. He could BE the Bob of the first five seasons of BL, actually.

That was posted Dec 2011 concerning season 12. He did return for season 13. Hopefully he will NOT appear season 14.

Not a Dolvett fan, huh? Last year I liked him OK, and I don't like Bob's snottiness toward him in the past. But this year, he lost me when he didn't stick up for Adrian more and when he went off on Daphne. Stay, go, I don't really care at this point. Shoot, bring back Kim for all I care.

Did anybody see Stars Earn Stripes last night? Something crazy happened to Dolvett last night, but I am not sure what.

When he and his team started their mission, first thing they did was jump out of a helicopter and into the water. They were supposed to swim a short distance to some boat before starting the mission proper. But within a few seconds he was shouting "help"! Then they cut to commercial.

When I tuned back in, his team was halfway through their mission, with no Dolvett. I never heard or saw what his problem was.

What happened? Is it as simple as the guy cannot swim?

As much as I enjoy my Dolvett eye candy, I hope he was elliminated from that abortion of a show "Stars Earn Stripes".

That show is so disgusting on so many fronts it saddens me that Dolvett participated.

On "Stars Earn Stripes", Dolvett tanked. Each star is paired with an Ops specialist. For the first challenge, they paired 2 teams together, so Dolvett and his Ops specialist were paired with another star and their Ops. The first challenge was to drop from a helicopter hovering about 10 feet over the water, then swim to a boat (about a 20 foot swim), climb into the boat (this is all while wearing 70 pounds of gear), then when the boat lands, take out a guard tower with an RPG, shoot down 6 targets (2 moving), slog through thick mud to carry a heavy ammo box to a shack, bust down the door of the shack and put the ammo inside, then rendezvous with a helicopter that would lift them out. While flying away, press a button to blow up the shack. The Ops specialists were supervising, but they also had a challenge. After the guard tower and targets were eliminated by the star, Ops had to take out 6 very small targets that were much farther away.

Dolvett and his team got to watch the first team do their turn. Then when Dolvett was dropped from the helicopter, he couldn't swim. He yelled for help, over and over, and they had "dramatic" footage from his helmet cam of him sinking under water. A rescue boat came over and pulled him out, but he was done. His team star partner had to do all of the challenge by herself. I think it was Picabo Street.

There was one other star who tanked - Terry Crews. He also couldn't swim. At the end of the show, the original premise was that the stars on the team that had the slowest time would face off in a challenge to see who would be eliminated. Instead, they made Dolvett and Terry compete. Dolvett had a commanding lead but couldn't pull off the last hit - the challenge was shooting targets with the final being a very small target you had to hit with a sniper rifle. Dolvett was there shooting for a long time, but Terry caught up and nailed it first. So Dolvett was eliminated but still earned a small amount of money for his charity.

Great picture of a shirtless Dolvett posted on BL's Facebook page.
Potes, if you read this, I think you'll like it!
