I pulled this from Bianca's Twitter. Apparently, the cast of Cycle 18 will be paraded around Universal City Walk on October 3rd. link

Who works for NBC Universal or will be in the area and can go to this?

Well on the main of page of our very own TWOP, it was reported that Kelly Cutrone is in and ALT is out for Cycle 18. On one hand I'm excited because she seems like a megabitch and will make everyone cry, but on the other hand I really did love me some ALT. Dreckitude?

I don't know that Kelly Cutrone will shake things up. This is a reality show whose winner - and elimination order - is planned from the go.

Well, I have no idea who Kelly Cutrone is. But all I know is that ALT is out and that's all that matters. I'm not sure how much more I could have taken of his made-up words and wizard capes.

Is this another themed cycle or is it back to normal (not really) girls?

She said there would be no more 'normal' cycles.

Hm... maybe an all plussie cycle? Or another petite cycle? Or, if Tyra is hellbent on proving that you can scrape even lower than the bottom of the barrel, we'll have another All-Star cycle...

Maybe she'll do one with amputee models like they did in Britain. Or an AllScar cycle and have only girls with noticeable scars.

I'd actually love an AllStars, but with girls that were eliminated early instead.
The first/second eliminated of each cycle come to mind.

But a part of me still thinks AJ C7, Kimberly/Victoria C9, Claire C10, Gabrielle/Naduah/Ren/Simone C14, Rhianna C15, etc. could have done a better job had they gone a bit farther.

Oh God. Tyra gets the idea to do a cross-international version and picks the one country whose Top Model iteration is worse than hers. Who knows, maybe Tyra is better at spotting girls than BNTM.

Just as long as the British girls have bad teeth and say things like "Freshen your drink, guvnah?" I'm all for it!

There's video (by the same guy that recorded the ANTM All-Stars launch) and pictures that he has posted here: http://www.youtube.c...er/brianestrade

and the picture of the British girls:
see if you can figure out who they are...

And if you can't:

From left to right:
Jasmia Robinson
Annaliese Dayes
Ashley Brown
Louise Watts (?)
Alisha White
Catherine Thomas
Sophie Sumner

yep BNTM girls! :D

Good. Fucking. God.

I can get behind a US v. Foreign Cycle. I can even handle it being Britain. I can even handle them not being able to get the cream of the crop as far as British girls go...

But I cannot handle having to watch Sophie, Ashley and Annaliese all. over. again. I actually liked Jasmia's personality, thought Catherine took great photos, and could buy Alisha (as annoying as she is) as a model. But those three godawful harpies ruin the entire concept for me.

I have a mild crush on Louise, so we'll see if she can redeem things for me, although she isn't looking as gorgeous as usual in that candid.

Barring any winners/super successful girls (i.e. Tiffany/Joy/Abigail), my dream cast probably would have been Jenilee, Louise, Charlotte (C4), Kasey, Nicola, Stacey, Amelia, or possibly Juste to keep things interesting. I can't imagine those girls are doing much besides chilling on the couch in their snuggies, so what gives?

I assume the twist is not a spoiler but the names of the contestants are. Yes?

I'm pretty sure I've seen the "twist" reported on mainstream sites, but not the actual contestant names. They're behind a link above, so I'll leave it, but that sounds like a good distinction to me.

Well, with Remodeled is a complete failure ratings wise I wonder if we're going to see this cycle sooner rather than later?

It was scheduled to come back sometime this Spring (maybe Mar or so). Maybe they'll bump up the date.

Hm, I heard they were saving it until the fall season?

Though now I see it coming back sooner rather than later considering CW doesn't exactly seem to have a lot of potential midseason replacements...

Debuting February 29.

I'm guessing they would've put it on next week if they could considering what a ratings disaster Remodeled has been.

A single?? Like a music track? This is too funny!! So the agency is going to be an agency in LA or NY?? But we don't know which one? Or is it like a talent agency?

So many questions, I'm on for another train wreck, it can't be worse than the last winner.

I'm pretty sure they mean LA Model Management or NY Model Management.
