This was definitely the best episode so far. Everything about Kevin Sorbo cracked me up. I felt bad for him, but his insistence on raising awareness of MS anyway was too funny ("You won't always be young..."). I've enjoyed every episode, and have been waiting for the show to premiere since I saw the five minute preview months ago. I have no idea why ABC waited so long to premiere it, but I hope it gets renewed for a full season.

Krysten Ritter was very cute on Letterman the other night. She talked a lot about growing up in rural PA. You can watch it on CBS' site (5/1 episode, 2nd guest).

Here's her a direct link to her interview on YouTube. She also gets into that Audrey Hepburn/"Breakfast at Tiffany's" thing in it too, which has been mentioned a few times here. I just wish he let her speak more without interruption. I liked her interview.

I have to say, I'm loving this show. This week's ep had me laughing out loud multiple times. It's a total hoot. Chloe has some seriously hysterical lines. "Don't bother, I already ate all the pills underneath the sofa."

Best sitcom to come out of ABC in years. I love the effortless "quirkiness." Some shows try so hard to be quirky, they come off as disturbingly "meta." Chloe and June are certainly forming into a nice comedic tandem, but I don't want June to take on a lot of Chloe's personality traits long-term.

I do wish they'd have explained why June practically worships Chloe now. I mean, yes, she rid of her of the awful fiance but she did it in the worst way imaginable. And I thought Chloe loving June was a bit sudden as well.

Did ABC switch up the airing order? That worked reasonably well for Happy Endings last year, in that they fast-forwarded past the initial setup and more into the main vibe of the show. (Then late in the first season, the earlier-written episodes finally aired and the viewers were entertained because now we loved the characters, but also put off because the show was back to dealing with plot fallout from the pilot.)

It would have been nice for them to have remained in "frenenemy" mode for a bit longer. Hard to believe such polar opposites would become "besties" so quickly.

I love this show. Just love it. There have been at least two stellar episodes in a row, IMO.

"If you want your ass to rock, your plums gotta pay the price" added to the hilarity that the image of JVDB in those tight jeans provided.

I also loved everything related to the food fetish site and how guilty June felt over selling pieces of Chloe. The film noir music was an especially nice touch.

I really hope this show comes back because it has quickly become one of my faves.

And with every pair of jeans you get a complimentary "BJ"... stitched on the back pocket. Meatballs!

The video of June in front of the mirror wondering what was on her arm and then wondering about her arm flab was seriously hilarious. I just love this show! So funny!

And I'm glad June and Chloe aren't in frenemy mode, it would've got annoying. I find their friendship realistic at this point. At least sitcom realistic, haha. They aren't exactly Bff. June is still pretty horrified at a lot of what Chloe does.

Chloe is basically what I imagine a Jenna Maroney from 30 Rock who never became famous would be like, so I'm basically thinking of the friendship as what Liz and Jenna were like when they roomed together.

The actress who plays June is cute as a bug, but I don't know, she just doesn't have that extra something in all her deliveries that Krysten Ritter does. Although I loved the back-to-back fun, upbeat jam-making montage and pervy porn-montage and thought she nailed that scene as well as the bathroom/mirror one.

I wonder if the jam storyline was a deliberate poke at 2 Broke Girls. Either way, I've kind of fallen in love with this show.

That bathroom mirror scene is definitely my favorite June scene so far. "Is that a mole.....no....what was that?....chocolate?"

This may be my favorite episode as well, though last week's was pretty fabulous too.

VDB's ass looked fine as hell, I have to say. And Luther seems to agree with me.

Ooooooh man, that bath full of jam. Wow.

Oh, it totally was. And even though I love both shows, Apt. 23 is clearly the superior sit-com right now. Although it would never happen, you know what would really be cool? A 2 Broke Girls - Apartment 23 cross over. After all, both shows are set in NYC, and obviously, Chloe=Max and June=Caroline. Lot of comedic potential there.

Oh, it totally was.

Absolutely! Which made the reveal all that much cooler - it was pretty "in your face, 2 Broke Girls!" That's how you make enough money off a silly homemade food product to actually pay the rent. Max and Caroline can talk the dirty talk, but Chloe walks the walk. I just loved the hell out of that contrast.

I confess that a similar thing has happened to me, so I was rolling at that.

This show is actually shot in NYC, yes? The locations looked genuine, not like L.A. faking it.

Loved seeing Rosalind Chao (Keiko O'Brian in Star Trek: Next Generation and Deep Space Nine) as the Korean minister. That whole idea of June going to a Korean church was awesomely random and Mark's reaction was priceless.

JVDB's jeans story-line was hilarious, with the billboard, the "BJ" label on the back, and the reveal of how they ended up being a success with gay people loving it first, then the hipsters so they wouldn't be outdone, and then ending with the Japanese. And I really am loving Luther. I hope we get to hear more about the play.

Continue to love Chole and June, and how they are playing the relationship. I really hope ABC renews it, because I want to see more of their and James' adventures.

One of the grossest endings ever! Yuck, seeing his toe test the jam. Ick ick ick. But I knew there had to be a payoff to Eli taking all the jam.

The video of June in front of the mirror wondering what was on her arm and then wondering about her arm flab was seriously hilarious.

I didn't notice anything about arm flab. I just thought she saw the "mole" under one arm, flicked it off, then found another "mole" on the other arm and brushed that off.

I like that they've given Robin a bit more definition. Did we know before that she was a nurse? Anyway, she's becoming more real.

I LOVED the beginning when June is doing her voiceover, then it suddenly changes over to that woman with the dog doing her own voiceover.

I love the little touch of June's parents' hair looking absolutely terrible because they're making their own hairspray to save money.

I liked when June and Mark were talking about going to church, and Mark says he hasn't been in a long time. "Jennifer thinks God steals focus." That is a great line. I wonder if we'll meet Jennifer or if she'll be like Norm's Vera.

Another line I liked was from Chloe: "Youíre being very judgmental right now. Thatís not very Korean of you."

So why did Robin tell June not to trust Chloe in the pilot?

Was she just trying to prevent anyone else from getting close to Chloe? Or is her obsession a love/hate kind of thing?

Or was she trying to save an innocent victim from Chloe's scam?

I think June's parents should have talked to Hannah's parents from Girls (or more specifically, her mom).

Do you think we'll ever see anyone from Chloe's family or find out where she's from?

What was the deal with Chloe mouthing something but it was blurred out? Did they try to slip something dirty by the censors, but they caught it?

I also love the little Skype flashes to her parents.

I think she was just trying to scare off June because she (Robin) is in love with Chloe. However, Robin was a former roommate, right? I would think that leaving wouldn't have been her choice. In that case, Chloe would have had to throw her out, but why would she do that? Robin has lots of money, and that's all that Chloe cares about, or used to, at least.

Or am I misremembering? Was Robin a roommate?

No, that was the joke, just like in the pilot when Chloe came into the kitchen naked. I like that her mouth was blurred for such a long time. Makes you wonder what she said.

But I knew there had to be a payoff to Eli taking all the jam.

I was wondering about him confiscating the jam, was it just for the bath? Or will the authorities actually confiscate your homemade jam if you are trying to sell it without necessary permits? Seems a bit unfair, after all, June paid for the ingredients, the jam is hers, why couldn't she keep it for herself?

Do you think we'll ever see anyone from Chloe's family or find out where she's from?

I thought we already met her dad and wheelchair-bound mom.

Eventually, yeah, but it's only been like four episodes. It's just that Chloe doesn't care about most people and then it just took June having a little bit of spirit and now Chloe loves her? It just makes June seem too...special.

In that case, Chloe would have had to throw her out, but why would she do that? Robin has lots of money, and that's all that Chloe cares about, or used to, at least.

Maybe Robin got too clingy and she's fine living in another apartment and using Robin's feelings.

But Chloe isn't the kind of bitch who actively hates and despises people just for the sake of it. She is the kind of bitch who uses people for what she wants. She is selfish, self-absorbed and rude. She isn't actually going to just be mean to this girl unless it serves her purposes, though.

And June is a turn the other cheek kind of person. So I don't think it would make sense for them to be "frenemies". Since it wouldn't serve Chloe's purposes to be mean to her for no reason and it isn't how June is.
