I know, why bother? Right? Anyways, last night I saw about 10 mins of a 2 hour show called "1, 2, 3, 4, I call a Squatch War." (sad I used up a bit of brain power retaining that title)...but anyways, they were in two different states trying to figure out which had the most Squatch "evidence" or something like that (I cannot be bothered to retain too many "facts" so I am going to go as cloudy as they are. Also, other than Bobo, I can't recall any names, so you will have to just bear with me).
So a few of them are at a site at night....They hear a noise....and instead of running towards it to figure out what it was (or even crashing through the forest to scare The Thing away like they do in Destination Truth)....the one guy calls someone on the walkie talkie to TELL HIM that they just heard something. Really? How is that any kind of "investigating"?
So, first, they call the other guy on the walkie...they remind each other that the Other Guy had also heard some noises (obviously from another Bigfoot) ....... So they conclude that there are TWO Squatches in the area......then they talk about it in loud voices (clearly hoping that whatever made that noise is moseying along)....and THEN they decide that it was Definitely a Bigfoot so they can wrap up for tonight....ALL THE WHILE NOT MOVING AN INCH IN ANY DIRECTION. In fact, I was thinking how incredibly FROZEN they appeared while they talked in loud voices.
I mean, why is this show funded?
They got that amazing boondoggle to Tibet.....and have Never, Ever Found Anything.
They run a town hall meeting type thing where they have local people talk about their "encounters" and it just seems to me like this kind of Nonsense is encouraging people to believe in Bigfoots instead of Bears. It is catering to the least common denominator and while THEY KNOW that there is nothing out there out of the ordinary, they are promoting unnecessary fears. WHY is this show still on?
