One word: UGH. The only reason why she gets away with half she shit she does is because she's so big. No wonder Star hired security on her ass. "Casper the ghost"? Talk about low.

I've watched two episodes now, and to me Nene seems so out of place on this show. All the other contests have actually WORKED in their chosen fields and have acquired actual skills. What skills does Nene have to contribute besides her ignorant foul mouth? Besides run her loud ass mouth, what have we seen her do, grease dough and cluck like a chicken? BFD. I have not seen her contribute any ideas whatsoever but she sure has something to say about everyone else. Cant wait till I see the Donald fire her ass. It shouldnt be long now.

She is a celebrity, Not. She is a housewife, Not. All she knows how to do is whine about her husband, who her father is, a Kim hater, shit starter, no talent, spend money like she has a golden goose and just down right disgusting. She is so proud of her clucking skills. She gossips like a hen, so it seemed fitting. I would just once like to she her clean a toilet, cook a meal, dust, and do the things a housewife does.

The thing is, even with her alliance with Star and Dionne, I don't see how ANYBODY would want to follow her when she leads a task. It will be less strategically motivated than the torpedoing of Lisa, but I have to think the mere notion of lifting as much as a single finger to help this woman would turn most people's stomachs.

...k-i-s-s-i-n-g?

Hilarious things in that piece...

1.) Star Jones calling ANYONE else a "has been". I mean I don't think NeNe Leakes has a shred of talent or relevance, but if one went merely by the most conventional definition of stardom, then NeNe is a far more current star than er... Star.

2.) The way the article blithely goes on about Star and NeNe having "little love for each other". All we've really heard on the show s NeNe generically sniping at Star's bossiness, but they've been ALLIES otherwise. If its supposedly general knowledge that these two loathe each other, they must have been doing so in the press outside of the show, right?

http://today.msnbc.m...258081#42258081

This was funny!

Does Access Hollywood exist for ANY other purpose than Shit Stirring? (among people who ultimately don't matter, if you think about it) And is there ANYBODY'S ass Billy Bush won't kiss?

I will admit that NeNe's "I am precious and beautiful" bit was kind of funny though.

Although she's shown as a HUGE hypocrite with her rant about how she came in just to get to know everybody, and how she doesn't think backstabbing was necessary, when NeNe was at the core of doing exactly that to Lisa. Which she (and the hosts there) seemed to conveniently ignore.

Yeah, but Nene was in no way nasty about it. She didn't give Lisa a hard time about anything during the task. And dhen Lisa was arguing against Star and Dionne, Nene even said that they were ALL wrong -- instead of playing one side or the other. Had Lisa been actually up to the task, I do believe that Nene would've gotten behind her. I mean, look at her this week with Niki. Nene was a team player, and enthusiastically did what was asked her her.

In other news, the lady is hilarious. I never saw RHOA, but I like Nene. She's funny and she seems fairly real and down-to-earth. I could see Nene being the wacky friend I go to the mall or to somebody's party with.

Did anyone see NeNe on Ellen yesterday. She was so funny. Ellen had her comment on all the other 'stars' on apprentice and her reactions to Star was hysterical.

She's funny. I hope the previews where she goes off on people are exaggerated but based on what's been said of her time on RH show (not sure which one she's on?), I guess she can be a bully.

But I liked her comments on Ellen's show.

NeNe is on The Housewives of Atlanta.
NeNe will speak what's on her mind. No holding back for her.
I don't know who will win between Star and NeNe. {I'm hoping it's NeNe}.
Star is a mean person. Star hasn't change.
Star is for Star and knowone else.
Who do you think will go first? Star or NeNe.

NeNe is now becoming friends with Alyoudoin. I don't believe all the hype that her and Star are as bad as Omarossa, I have yet to see anything from either of them to put them in that league. They are not even near Annie Duke level, yet.

Can't stand Nene. She talks lots of trash, but is actually a lying two-faced phoney. I'll be glad when she goes.

I actually think she's more multidimensional than that. I think she realised, listening to the guys talk, that her team had probably lost. And I think her charity is near and dear to her heart. She's been a struggling single mother in an abusive relationship, and the Atlanta Union Mission has helped a LOT of people who were down on their luck and needed a safe place to go or a hand up... and their women's safe house has helped women who were in some really abusive situations.

I'm willing to bet that Nene is absolutely not faking or kidding about wanting to support that charity (and given that she is having financial problems of her own right now, I don't exactly see her being able to cut them a check out of her own bank account if she is unable to earn money for them.) She may not be a saint in every situation in her life, but I give her credit for being multidimensional enough that I think she's sincere about wanting to do well for her charity.

When the previews and all the talk was coming out before CA aired, I really thought we were going to be seeing full on Moose Nene the whole time, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised with her. There was talk of her fighting with Dionne before the season aired, and everyone speculated how awful she must be to fight with Dionne Warwick. But Dionne proved to be a nasty bitch and Nene was actually very respectful to her. Even LaToya appeared on Wendy Williams and basically backed Nene up in the Star/Nene matchup that we will be seeing soon. She said Star was basically using Nene as her mouthpiece and Nene finally realizes she is being manipulated, and when asked what she tought of Star, LaToya said that she cared for Star as much as the ladies on the View did.

Unfortunately, I do think Star will outlast Nene. Donald Trump likes a good underhanded bitch with smarts. And Nene crying sort of sealed her future fate, I believe. It will be interesting to see the break between Star and Nene since they are allies right now.

I have mixed feelings about Nene in general. I think she can be so funny at times. Her THs on RHoA sometimes literally have me laughing out loud. But there is that other side to her that is just awful. Overall, though, I enjoy her and think she has a really good TV presence. I'm not surprised that DT used Nene and Lil John to appear on the promotional talk show circuit before the season began. I also think her crying last episode was more her going into the boardroom on a high thinking they won, and then when hearing the men talk, she realized they probably won. I do think she just really wanted to win so badly and put a lot into it. I doubt she thought that DT would change the results if she cried.

She can be funny, but she's let the RHWA go to her head. I think she believes it's an accomplishment to make an ass of yourself on a reality show and it's not. I can handle her in small doses, but more than a little screen time and I hit the mute button.

On The View Donald Trump said he did not like Meatloaf crying.
NeNe will lose before Star will because Donald think crying is a weakness in a person.
Star can have the biggest smile on her face all the while she is thinking mean thoughts in her head about that person.

When the previews and all the talk was coming out before CA aired, I really thought we were going to be seeing full on Moose Nene the whole time, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised with her.

I can't say I've bothered watching her stupid show (my brain bled the last time I tried to watch ANY of those Real Housewives pieces of turgid crap). That said, just knowing the ultra low calibre of people on ALL of those shows, if she was supposedly "one of the worst" as people said I had very low expectations.

She certainly didn't help with her ultra-smug riffs on getting Lisa kicked off.

That said, among the "Evil trio" of Nene, Star and Dionne, I have to say that she's been the least objectionable overall. Some of her asides HAVE been actually truly funny, and her leadership was actually quite good.

I'll take her over Star--at least based on what we've seen so far.

I was going to add "until Marlee beats them both", but on second thought I think it would be even funnier if somehow Hope was hiding hidden depths and took them all down. Not likely, but it would sure be hilarious.

This is what I was hoping from Hope (heh)- but so far, no. Bunny's just coasting.

As for NeNe, you know when she was talking about the domestic abuse and Trump asked her how long, she said "For about 5 years" The tone in which she said it almost sounded like she meant "For about 5 years NOW". She isn't referring to her current relationship is she?

No, it's not from her current relationship. Her husband seem to be a nice man.

I'm pretty sure it was her first husband, the father of her oldest son. What she went through might account for some of her hyper bellowing behavior, sort of "no one is going to push me around anymore!". She is still most bearable in small doses.

I agree. I adored Nene in RHA/S1 but her more recent 'Housewives' behavior led me to believe she'd be an early casualty on CA so I'm pleasantly surprised by her presentation thus far. One thing: did anyone catch what she snaps at LaToya in the previews for next week? Does she call her paleface?

I also saw Nene on the RHA/S1 - got stuck watching it on a Jet Blue flight from CA to NY - and didn't really think much of her mostly because she was always hanging around that blonde bimbo (Kim?) who annoyed me.

I love Nene's commentaries about the other contestants because it's dead-on. While I know that she's not a celebrity per se' she's a relatively new "television personality" compared to all of the other celebs, so it's a refreshing take on hearing what she has to say about the others who have been in the business longer than she has. Nene seems less jaded than the others who expect a certain level of treatment and she can probably see more of the fake *kissy*kissy*huggy*huggy* going on. She's also got a little bit of Hollywood naivete about her, which is why Dionne Warwick (a veteran celeb) chewed her up and spit her out on her firing day.

I thought NeNe was just a tad harsh on LaToya. Even though I found myself agreeing with her, she really didn't have to go nuclear on her like that. Has she never heard of "think it but don't say it?" Sometimes honesty is NOT the best policy and you could tell that even Star thought it was uncalled for.

My big question after the smoke cleared was, why the hell is Gary Busey still there?

I didn't think NeNe was harsh on LaToya at all. It was harsh but very true. LaToya is on that show because of the Jackson 5. Period.

I was surprised by the extent of Nene's animosity (altho I shouldn't have been having watched her endless over-eruptions on RHoA) but I understand her frustration. Did La Toya give any credit to the great job the women did in helping her realize her (disjointed) vision? If so, I missed it.

If you see the post-win clip where Nene is yelling 'Caspar the Ghost', check out Hope smirking in the background.

If Latoya is on the show because of her famous brothers, then what is Nene on the show for? Choking Kim on RHOA?
That theory's a joke. No comparison between the two.

The women on the team deserved credit for nothing. They came out of the gate on the task hoping they'd lose so they could spew their venom towards Latoya. This has been the problem with this team from day one. They never tried to win, only to sabotage each other. And Hope has no business smirking at anybody. She has done nothing and she knows she should be getting the heat that Latoya is getting.

Well she wasn't part of the Jackson 5!

But yeah, I get what you mean. Then again I'd take off the "period". She's also on because of being tabloid fodder for two decades, and if she's on because of the Jackson 5, its really even more because of the Jackson... One (aka Michael).

If Latoya is on the show because of her famous brothers, then what is Nene on the show for? Choking Kim on RHOA?

Well yeah. That's the heart of how ridiculous Nene's statement is. At least (in theory) LaToya can (sort of) sing and (sort of) dance. Sort of. What's Nene's talent? Bitching? Backstabbing? Bellowing? Physical assault?
