Yerxa was pretty obviously drunk.

Yerxa didn't annoy me at all this time around.

I think Yerxa is pretty sure of himself, and that's not always a good thing. He's only in his late twenties/early thirties, yet he always feels the need to "guide" or "correct" the younger guys on the show. Maybe a snoot-full of booze will take that need to be a pain in the ass out of him. Looking forward to the next "new" episode in the States.

I like the new Michael. He's so adorable and giggly. I just want to tickle him!

Ish was throwing some SHADE, and I loved it.

Did anyone see the end of the episode Logo aired Monday night? The preview showed Santos telling the panel that Jake was the reason for problems in his relationship. WTH?

Oftentimes, the 1G5G previews can be very misleading.

Yeah, I don't put much stock in the previews. They're designed for maximum drama so we'll tune in.

They want drama, they should focus on the gloss Santos was wearing in the promo. Oh, wait, maybe that IS what they were doing.

The only think I have to say about this weeks episode is that Santos wearing lipgloss/lipstick is not a good look. Not in that shade anyway. Oh, I can't believe A-J didn't know what Teabagging was.

Next week worries me because the cast is comprised of all new guys and I'm afraid I'm going to hate every one of them. I'm going to try to be open-minded since I'm the very one who has been advocating for new guys in the first place.

As a Canadian viewer who's already seen the episode, I thought it was terrific. I was apprehensive at first too because the entire panel was new but I encourage you to stay open-minded and watch until the end.

Santos totally ooks me out. The affectations and wardrobe are one thing, but that voice! I want to immediately take him into surgery and get his adenoids removed.

I wish Juan would accept that he truly does have a lisp, and not blame it on his accent. I'm deaf and I read lips and it's so fucking annoying to read his lisp (plus it makes it hard to understand him, from my point of view).

JC is already on my nerves. It's one thing for the original cast to clock Matt Barker, but it's another thing to a new guy to walk in and just because AJ asks a question, he decides to do it too. At least JC said it to his face, though, unlike some members of this show.

I wish Juan would accept that he truly does have a lisp, and not blame it on his accent. I'm deaf and I read lips and it's so fucking annoying to read his lisp (plus it makes it hard to understand him, from my point of view).

Juan's overall denial annoys me. It seems like he ignores or denies everything he's not comfortable with. From the lisp, to his boyfriend dramas, to being teased about things by the guys, it's just "Oh it's not that, it's this..." I'm not sure why Juan's like this, but he needs to come out of it.

A little off the story line, but I'm a little put off by the direction of discussing one's own or other panel members' celebrity by certain cast members from the show. I love this show, as it's one of the very pitifully few programs on television upon which there is a mature discourse about sex, sexuality, and relationships. I wish there were more shows like this. But I would be very happy if they'd get off the idea that some of them are in it for more than just the discussion. Maybe they are, but why call more attention to them?

Wow, I didn't know about the panel was HIV+ until the final question. I haven't been in my twenties for quite some time, so I was pretty stunned by the young guys' status. The twentysomething who had the last word was not my cup of tea during the show, but by the last question, I was totally on his side. Good one.

I'm not sure how I feel about them doing the "They're all HIV+!" thing at the end. Felt a bit gimmicky and cheap sensationalism. Though, on the other hand, the point was probably that "you never know" and "anyone can have it," which is good. But their answers more than made up for it, I think. They're very brave, and I salute them.

The twentysomething who had the last word was not my cup of tea during the show, but by the last question, I was totally on his side.

Totally. He kept giving me Andrew flashbacks the whole time, but his talking about his status was heartbreaking and raw and hopeful.

I had almost given up on this program 1G5G due to the never ending trivial, stupid questions and facial gyrations of some of these clowns. No wonder the fan base are screaming teen GIRLS, that ruined the live show. Provocative questions that require.. pardon the pun .. mature thinking, other than their last "hookup" .. sexual position etc. The casting of this show is like a big circle jerk, friends recommending there drinking buds, etc .. with the well received occasional newbie that is not part of the DT TO club crowd. A major vacuum is the absence of any independent thought that is not completely dismissed, counted with some insulting / snarky comments by others on the panel.

The HIV+ segment, in my opinion, was not a gimmick. After almost 30 yrs. of this disease, so many young gay men are still being infected. The message of safe sex obviously is not being heard or understood. I have lost too many friends to HIV/AIDS and whatever the current drug regimen, it is still lethal. I could only imagine, if the cast was not entirely of these young men, but with some of the regular crew the impact would be lost.

Previews are just that to tease the audience but I am very curious about a upcoming segment that numb nuts "Lynch" is taking to task about outing Gerry and using the offense word 'retard' .. Gerry looks like he could throttle numb nuts calling him an a**hole and telling a fellow cast member ..do not touch me ! .

Now that would be a very interesting segment, to film the green room antics before a taping with candid cameras. The s**t would fly.

btw >> Lispy Juan is a major drama queen, just review some past shows.

I was really liking Michael as the episode progressed, he seemed to be funny, witty and humble, but then it was revealed he's dating Dean and any respect I had for him flew out the window. What was up with his inappropriately touching Gerry? I was hoping Gerry'd slap her.

My disrespect for Ian grows and grows. Had he confessed to using the "R" word before he scolded Gerry, Ian may have seemed cool, but he didn't, he seemed like a real pompous asshole. I don't use the word myself, but I don't go around finger waggin'.

The good news is Dean says he won't be doing the show once he turns 30, he indicated that might be sooner than later.

I kept replaying the best moment of the night, Gerry calling Ian an asshole. It was hysterical. I'm surprised Ian didn't say asshole was an offensive term.

Actually, the fact that Michael and Dean are in love and "not really engaged" made me like Dean more than I possibly ever have.

Ian had a legitimate point, and an actual reason for it, but I can just imagine what, and particularly HOW, he said it to Gerry backstage. And, yes, the implication is that those who use the word are bad, and of course Gerry got defensive about that. It was kind of interesting to see Gerry so seethingly pissed. It's just so different from the way he usually is.

Gerry has some issues .. flash back to a past show when we was sitting next to Jake. All hands on Jake,to the point that Jake said .. sit on your hands. His ( Gerry ) body language was very interesting towards Michael, any thoughts ?

I just got caught up on a bunch of episodes off my DVR (although it randomly skipped some episodes). I'd read tweets from some of the guys about Jason Yantha, so it was nice to see him on the show. And it's nice to have a guy on the show who's not that sexually active and who's not totally confident in his hotness. I like him.

I also like the new Michael. Definitely cute and bubbly. And he made for a notably more-relaxed Dean, which is always good.

And on the most recent episode, I just have to express my love for Santos's rant at the end, re: Juan's bed surrounded by pinata alarm clocks. I don't think Juan was being malicious in ripping on people's outfits, but he was still definitely asking for some payback. And Santos was hilarious. I hated Santos the first couple of episode he was on, but he has definitely become one of my favorites (notwithstanding his voice).

I do wish they had said why he was leaving the show. Personal choice? New job that raises some kind of conflict? Moving away? Sick of stalkers?

I remember really liking Taylor James when he was on the show and wondered why we stopped seeing him. It appears he's a professional dancer in L.A. now. I found this video of him taking a dance class with Britney Spears' choreographer Brian Friedman and Matt Cady of Fanny Pak.

I really enjoyed last night's episode. I'm liking Jason Yantha more with every appearance -- he's cute, a little shy, into freaky gang-bang porn, and he likes cats. Mostly, it's nice to have a guy on the show who's not totally out-in-the-scene, been-there-done-that, fulll of opinions.

I love that his name is Taylor James, does he have an ex named Simon Carly?

I really enjoyed last night's episode.

Ditto. Any ep with Philip and JP is a win, Jason is a good addition, but even Ish and Andrew were likable.

Another fan show? Ugh, I doubt I'll make it through the whole episode. I can't with the screaming girls. I'm just not too keen on this show being live. I don't need to have a studio audience reacting to every answer the guys are giving. Then the show is no longer 1G5G but instead becomes 1G5G and 200 squealing fans. Lets not make a habit of this, show.

I think the people that enjoy the live audience shows the most are the five panelists.

What is the attraction for these screaming girls ?

They're probably kids from the Toronto suburbs who think these aging club kids are the coolest, hippest, most worldly Torontonians evah! I can totally understand the attraction.

I see from Twitter that Perez Hilton was in a recent Canadian episode, which means we'll be burdened with his grotesque presence on Logo before too long. I'm just not a fan of including celebrities on the panel -- one thing I like about the show is that presents a range of voices from within (a relatively narrow segment of) the gay community. People like Perez already have plenty of chances to have their voice heard.
