Yes, Nancy needed another show where she could be judge, jury and counselor.Polarizing TV host Nancy Grace heads to daytime with this legal show. In Swift Justice With Nancy Grace, she acts as judge, jury and counselor as she mediates real-life disputes. There's no judge's robe or gavel, and Grace moves about the set at will, pointing to evidence or consoling a victim. Expert testimony and technology is available as well. Each show also includes a segment called Nancy Across America, where she handles a case via the Internet.

What is up with her wearing the vest on this show all the time? She had on dress shirt with a vest today. Every promo and preview of next show, vest is on. The look doesn't do her any favors. She looked shorter and wider, out from behind the desk.
That was another thing, she likes to walk right up to the people. I hope she has security, because I could see someone popping her in the mouth. Maybe that's what she's hoping for ala Geraldo (back in the day).

I totally dislike her using a body language specialist to determine if a person is telling the truth.
Worse court show ever.

I think she wears the vest to show "I'm not a judge/former judge like the people hearing cases on the other "courtroom/legal" TV shows, but I'm still the 1 in charge in this forum". I'm not calling it a courtroom because if Nancy's not a judge--or a prosecutor--then she doesn't work in a courtroom.

CNN/HLN news also brings us such "greats" as Jane Valez Mitchell and Rick (bring the camera in closer on me) Sanchez, and can't quite figure out why their ratings are down. DAH!
Or as I call her: Nancy 2.0. Seriously, they've made her *look* like Nancy and I got tired of Nancy after Scott Peterson's trial. Unfortunately, Nancy gets a lot of press here in Atlanta since she's from Georgia and I saw a "preview" of the show on our Fox 5 morning show and had to run away faster than normal. Then I caught about 2 minutes and ran even faster. She was insinuating a man raped this girl because of her blackouts and the girl wasn't cottoning onto the fact really well. It took Nancy about 3 times asking before the girl said that she blacked out most times she drank too much. But I was just appalled and felt icky watching that kind of attempted vilification.

I pretty much let Nancy go when she invited Jon Gosselin on her show, and wouldn't let him get a word in edgewise. She literally asked and answered the questions for him.
That was on the Insider, she just showed it on her show over and over. I thought that was Nancy's one and only shining moment, boy did I enjoy her grilling that dumbass douche.
Swift Justice is so boring, no focus and Nancy being treacly sweet and caring. Nancy needs to go full bitter, seething asshole or give it up as a "mediator."

I cannot imagine why any guests would go on any of her shows, unless she pays well.

I don't like how she handles cases via satellite.

If this is supposed to be some sort of court, wouldn't Nancy follow court policies? I didn't think lie detector tests were admissable??
She definitely dials back her venom on this show, but that leaves it a little boring. On the other hand, I cannot imagine going on a show as a defendant or claimant with her persona from her CNN show. No thinks, I'd rather go to a local court, or face one of the many other judges on tv.
Were all of the other tv judges actually judges in real life? Or are they just self appointed tv judges after being attorneys or DA's??
Can't see this show lasting as it's basically a time filler.

Most of the tv judges were real judges. The last one that I recall who was billed as a judge who wasn't was the previous Divorce Court judge, Mablean Ephriam. That's the thing about Nancy's show I like, they don't pretend she's any kind of judge or that they're in a real courtroom.

That's because the show moved from Atlanta to Hollywood. The show is taping at the Sunset Bronson Studios (formerly the Tribune Studios), home to Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, and Los Angeles' CW affiliate KTLA.I don't know, the new set looks more court-ish now that they changed from a blue to brown background. Although, it looks more serious now, and less space-agey and gameshow-ish.
