I decided to give her show a chance, although I was expecting to turn it off 5 minutes in. Her food made me want to try it, which hasn't happened since Amy's show. She was okay for the most part, other than those sing-songy moments. I could have lived without those. But she's quite a bit better than almost all the other NFNS winners, but I still miss Amy.
Anyway, I had everything on hand, so here's my review of the sloppy joes:
the sauce needed more flavor to it, so I doubled the garam masala and some extra salt. I didn't have a serrano and it needed just a bit of heat, so I will make sure that I have one on hand next time.
The turkey also needed some extra flavor, so I added the cilantro and another tsp. of garam masala.
The bottom line was that it was good enough that I want to make it again. And I am actually curious enough to want to see what else she makes since I have not been overly fond of Indian flavors in the past.
I didn't try the salad or the popsicles, but definitely want to.
